I have a Xiaomi Redmi S2 with MIUI Global 10.3 stable version. The problem is, whenever I restarts my phone the Region changes automatically to India, although it is a global version. Why? Any fix? The problem becomes worse when I couldn't be able to message unless I change back my Region and delete the whole thread & starts new.

Hi.
I'm Korean.
I Use Xiomi Redmi Note4x (EU dev ROM)
In Korea, phone number format is as follows. (010-1234-5678 or 02-123-4567 or 1544-7777)
However, in EU ROM, there is no hyphen. (01012345678 or 021234567 or 15447777)
Is there any way to show it like this?
Please.
I installed latest Android 10 global miui and it's region locked to china. It won't let me use miui apps like themes. What do I do about it?
What so you mean with locked exactly? If you're able to change it once and it becomes China after restart:
Just change the region everytime before you want to edit themes or you have to edit build.prob

It was solved with the help of people on telegram. It was because I flashed eu build. I had to fastboot global rom for it to be fixed
Hello, I have a Mi 10 Pro bought from China, I have installed the latest European stable (xiaomi eu) firmware V12.2.8.0.RJBCNXM but I'm having one issue, present also in previous versions, only the line (sim) with the data activated is the one working, the other line changes to "No Service", anyone else has experienced this? Is there any way to fix it?
i am running the t mobile version with the global firmware. i updated with the indian version before everyone realized that it wasn't a global version (like every past OOS update). had the no signal issue (i'm assuming the indian version doesn't have the right radio bands for the us versions). i rolled back to OOS 11 and got my data signal back, waited for the global/us version (which just came out) but when I try to flash it I am still getting the same no signal issue. Oxygen Updater still thinks i have the Indian version, it says:
"It looks like you've selected the wrong device, "OnePlus 7 Pro" instead of "OnePlus 7 Pro (India)"
In Android Settings, phone is listed as GM1917 (Global/International Version)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I was able to regain tmobile data by flashing the modem.img from oos11 to finally fix this. Give it a shot go here. Do a data backup in case.. I had no problems until I did a data wipe after setting up the phone. I am not sure if this is a good fix or not but it works on my phone. Anyone else have a suggestion I am open to it.
So to do this I need to unlock my bootloader and setup TWRP? Right now everything is stock other than the global firmware...
My device restarts a lot a day with and without games, even when I don't carry it with me, it restarts on its own with an updated Android 13 version, device model xq-cq72, help .
check your SIM cards.....take them out and try without..... sometimes bad contact causes issues.
same problem with and without the SIM card.
Is the problem with the ROM? Can I change the ROM from the Chinese ROM to the global ROM? How do I know the version of the ROM for the device?
