Hey
I took off the plastoc cover that had about the screen and NFC features.
But to the left of the speaker (Not the screen, hust before the phone curves) it looks like when you put a screen protector on and its not pushed down enough. It looks lights than the rest of the phone.
Anyone else got that
Is there any settings to do to use the auto on off feature when you close and open the genuine Samsung wallet flip case , my note edge is on stock lollipop .
Thanks
If it is genuine it should work. I have it and it works automaticly. If the flip case is not original, you should use smart cover app from playstore.
It is genuine one , bought from amazon , but mine is not doing auto on of if I close or open the flip
It's working now , had to reboot the phone (turn off and then on ) it's working now , is there any way of changing the blue lines around the clock when the case is shut ???
Note Edge Flip Wallet is Not Black but Grey
It says Black on the package, but it is Grey.
I've seen others mention the same and I looked at a few more in the AT&T store.
They are all Grey that say black.
I wished it was Black and not Grey

You can change clock style in edge settings.
I have a genuine Samsung note edge flip cover with sensor, and recently I bought a third party cheap flip cover without a sensor. I want to remove this sensor from the genuine one. Is this possible and can someone help?
Just pop it off, it held with stickey double sided tape

Do let us know if popping it off from the original and putting it in the duplicate one still renders the same result.
If you flip cover for android or S9 is not turning off or on screen
When you put on the cover then turn off or restart your phone. It will start working and you can customise what to show on locked screen by settings >advanced features >accessories.
Accessories will aprear sometimes only after you use any acessory and restart phone.
My galaxy s6's capacitive keys have stopped working. It was a gradually process. At first they became unresponsive and then completely died. The light doesn't work either. I have tested the lights with the app galaxy buttons 2 and set the lights to be always on, but they don't even turn on by doing that. I do not know if it has been dropped as I bought it from a seller on ebay. Although he did say the rear glass has been replaced as it broke so I assume it has been dropped. If anyone knows what i need to replace in the phone for capacitive buttons please say. Thanks
Could be the magnetic sensor. Is your compass working? Do you have an original flip cover available? I had issue with my S6 when the phone completely hanged when using flip cover due to the magnets in the cover. My capacitive buttons worked, but no light. It was a warranty case, and the dealer said it's a magnetic sensor failure.
I am using s9+ samsung orginal clear flip cover. When we flip the cover it ll automatically turn off the display. Is there a way to turn this off. Even i flip the cover i don't want the screen to be locked. For example if i am watching YouTube and i close the case it shouldn't be turned off. Is there any option for this? Kindly advise me.
Maybe you need to get a better case.
I bought a cheap hardcase cover with a leather like cover. So when I turn the cover all the way to the back the tablet turn off. Which I wouldn't mind. Excepet when I push the power button I can't turn it back on!!!
I need to unfold the cover in order to turn it on again. I did the following. I removed the case from the tablet and I place the tablet on top of the "top side of the cover" (it's black). This is the part that would "cover" or touch the back when I flip the cover around. And if I do this, again the tablet turns off and will not turn on again untill I lift it up. But I open up the case and place the tablet on the inside of the flip cover (it's gray part) then the tablet does not turn off. I can't find anything that is magenetized on the cover itself, so I don't know what gives.
The tablet works fine in all other circumstances and I'm afraid of just buying another cover because how do I know it won't happen again....
Any Ideas?
I would really appreciate any thoughts.
You could just disable auto on off in the Accessories settings. I doubt your case is actually non magnetic if it works like that.
Reply I solved the issue buy making to black bars (made out of carboard and the painted black) of 1 CM height and gluing them to the back of the case. The case if effectively magnetized (but I only figured it out because It say so in the description of the item that I bought) this prevented the top of the cover from touching the back of it, when flipping it and had the added bonus that I can safely store the pen and lay the tablet on the table with zero issue.
