Lately I've been having an issue where the volume rocker stops working, a reboot fixes it but it happens every so often I don't want to keep rebooting my phone just to change media volume. Anyone else had this issue before? I haven't updated since EU rom came out so not sure if this was something that's been addressed already.

Yesterday I unlocked following olimpro steps.
But since I did that my up volume button is not working fine.
It keeps pressed all the way up. Pressing the down volume button it makes the volume down but a lil bit later it will be pressed up (with the annoying sound that makes when you press up or down)
I think is more a software issue rather than a hardware cause I press both volume buttons and they feel O.K.
I want to know if one of you guys experienced this issue before. And is kinda funny cause it was working fine until I ran the olimpro unlocker. I'm not telling was his excellent solution but maybe some registry keys were affected.
I'm a first time poster. I've been lurking and reading this board and the cyangen boards for a while. I rooted my SGS4G a few days ago and today I noticed that the volume on my calls was really low. I hit the up volume button to turn it up to no avail. It sits at the lowest mark and doesn't move. Is anyone else experiencing this? and if so have you fixed it?
I solved the issue myself. It must have been a glitch. By pushing the volume down button, the in-call volume shot back up to the highest setting. Thanks anyways, and if it happens to you just use the aformentioned solution to fix the problem.

Randomly, when I try to change the volume on my phone, the in-call volume icon comes up instead of the normal one. At this point, I can't change any other volume unless i manually go into the settings and change the volume tere. This happens until i reboot my phone. Upon reboot, the volume icons return to normal for an hour or too, but eventually revert back.
Anyone else experiencing these problems or know of a fix

I just finished a call and now every time I press the volume key (which I have set to control media volume) an In-call volume is controlled. It happens every time I end a call and it won't stop unless I reboot my phone. Any suggestions? I have the T-Mobile S8+!
I'm having this exact same issue after the last ATT update to the S8+. It happens after any incoming call, and the problem persists even after a factory reset. Anybody else with this same issue, if not a solution to it?
this started from yesterday evening, i'm watching youtube and the volume is annoyingly low, i increase the volume by using the volume rocker on the side of the phone but the volume is still the same, i go into settings and change the volume level from there and it suddenly goes into max volume.
then today after i had set the alarm clock i couldn't hear anything because yet again the volume had suddenly gone down again at this point i have no idea what is causing it, i don't have any bluethooth devices connected to it, no headphones, nothing in the headphone jack so i'm clueless as to what is causing it my phone is not rooted either.
this is frustrating me as i use my phone for a alarm clock and i can't rely on it for now due to this issue, no idea where to start with it.
so the volume is low, i increase the volume with the rocker no effect, i then go into settings and adjust the volume from there it goes back to high volume and then after a while it goes back to low volume again without any input from me.
If your device is rooted, I recommend you try Viper and see how it will help react.
I did say I didn't have root from the start.
anyways I'm thinking it may have a link with the latest update that was pushed, it was the October security update, this is when the problem started so it may have effected it.
