If you want to use hardware demanding software, such as this game, then you need to get a device with better, more capable hardware. It doesn't have to be a more expensive device, there are plenty of devices with sufficient hardware at very decent prices.
You can't turn lead(your device) into gold(a device that can run higher software).
You get what you pay for. If you buy a cheap device, don't expect it to be able to do "the cool stuff". If you have a device that is several years old, don't expect it to be able to keep up with newer software.

Root without CABLE - is it possible? Note 5

Hi there
I would like to root my annoying Samsung Note 5. My usb port only charges it does not work with data at all. It has been replaced to no avail. What process / software (ADB?) can I use to root my phone? Once rooted I intend to install TWRP and use a custom rom.
I have tried Kingoroot but it was unsuccessful.
Thanks!

If the USB port doesn't work, the only possible way for you to root the device is by using one of the universal rooting apps like Kingroot and hoping one of them works. You tried Kingroot, now try all of the other apps that do the same thing that Kingroot does.
Other than that, you'll have to get the USB port properly repaired.

It actually stopped working 3 months after I got the phone. It melted the usb cable with all geuine parts. Samsung said tough luck as I bought it in Australia when my other note packed up...so much for warranty.
I have sent to two repair centres both tried genuine parts and neither worked. So it charges but that's it. They said they can't repair the IC. New motherboard $300 USD according to them. My battery life is hopeless with the Samsung bloat. I recently rooted my backup Note 2 and bat life went from 1 day to 2 days.
I tried Kingoroot not kingroot. Is there a list of others I can try? I am prepared to pay for a rooting solution.

Do a Google search for:
"Apps for rooting android without PC"
That will find many different apps, try them all. If they don't work, replace the motherboard, get a new device or do nothing at all.
What is your model number?
Do a Google search for:
"Motherboard replacement for Galaxy Note 5 (your model number)"
They are for sale for an average price of $50 USD(around $30-$90). It isn't that hard to replace the motherboard for yourself. You can find youtube videos that demonstrate how to tear down your model number device and replace the motherboard.

in addition to what @Droidriven had mentioned...
If your a bit Tech savvy...
The Galaxy Note 5 has a separate USB Charging Board that you can purchase from places like ebay from $10 - $25+ depending on who you purchase it from.
The following is an ifixit link with guides and such (including Pictures and Videos) that will give you a sense of the inside breakdown.
https://www.ifixit.com/Device/Samsung_Galaxy_Note5
The following is an example of a Note 5 USB Charging Board that's listed on ebay (just for example).
https://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-Micro-...r-Samsung-Galaxy-Note-5-N920T-F/162676666900?
Just a helpful FYI... I can't guarantee anything either since I've never owned a Note device.
Good Luck!

My apologies... LMAO!
I just noticed it after I had posted it with an "oh crapola" in mind...
Other than that, to be more cost effective, I can only think of purchasing another Note 5 (same variant of course) with a locked, bricked, etc... Motherboard and try swapping out the motherboards only.

I edited my previous reply, replacing the whole USB board will probably work.
I'm not sure if they tried having just the USB itself replaced or if they tried replacing the board. Replacing the board is definitely a viable option if they haven't already tried it.

I find the lack of support for newer budget SD855 phones disturbing...

Not sure if this fits here, but yeah... I'm quite saddened of the fact that there's literally no custom roms for budget sd855 phones like the nubia red magic 3.
Your thoughts about this?

I don't have this device myself but, this device was JUST released within the past few months...
Remember that It takes time for Developments, like Custom Firmware, to emerge and some devices takes more time than others as Custom Firmware is not an easy task to accomplish either.
Individuals really should be more patient and just keep an eye on the Device Dedicated Areas of the forum (like the following one).

I wish you the best of luck!
