Is there an app or hack to force my HTC M8 (4.4.2) to use another microphone?

First time poster here.
So, My HTC M8 is messed up....phone mic is dead.
(The charger/audio jack was not working anymore. So I tore phone down as have done many times and replaced the board. Replacement part was used crap, headphone jack lose. Tore it up again, put in a third board, and now...phone works just fine, except that the phone mic will NOT pick up anything - .nor by headset mic either - that one boggles me! - Only works on speakerphone mic and bluetooth.)
Unfortunately, I use google voice search widget and text-to-speech extensively, and those are defaulted to phone mic ("microphone 1"), and will not work with any other mic by default.
I've searched and searched, and there are plenty of apps to reroute OUTPUT to alternate places, but there isn't a single app to reroute INPUT by allowing another microphone (namely "microphone 2", a.k.a. the "speakerphone" microphone) to be the default.
Anyone know of any workaround or obscure app?

Samsung reminder in AOD

I have a galaxy a5 2017. I want to use it as my productivity-essential then I saw the option of pinning note in to AOD. I also see the "Always On Display Alert" which usually allows note to appear on AOD. But after enabling it, there are nothing happen. Still the same, can anyone help me please...:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

19.5:9 aspect ratio landscape mode issues

Hi people,
I don't know where to ask this. I have a Huawei Mate20 with this aspect ratio.
It's tall and thin.
The problem I have is when in landscape mode the app drawer and home icons are very squashed. The notification drawer is too bug. Actually all headers and footers in most apps are so large that there is very little room for any body content.
There are other devices with this aspect ratio too which seem to suffer from this problem.
I've tried many launchers and still see the same problem.
I don't know a lot and I'm learning as I go.
I hope what I have asked makes sense. Please don't flame me

Thank you for the info. I have managed to make a workaround.
I trialled different launchers looking for a dual rotation setting and only came across 2 so far that would work.
Smart launcher has an interesting home page layout that will split the top half to the left and bottom to the right respectively.
Lightning launcher is like wow. But needs alot of configuration. But will honour dual placement of objects.
So far I'm sticking with LLX . A combination of KWGT and LLX is looking promising.

Huawei Mate20 Pro LYA-L09

Gcam(port) detecting front camera 5 megapixel camera is 20 mega pixel

i am using mi A2 i have unlocked bootloader and enabled cam 2 Api. I have install gcam version 6.1.021_whyred_04 this the most stable version for my phone i found. But it is detecting front camera only 5 mega pixel does any one know why?

there is nothing releated to my issue
but well i am trying different version let's see most of them are too buggy just one version has worked fine yet and it don't have timeplase too

it's alright i found something
it was not for my mi a2 i was for poco f1 by same company peoples are saying something pixel bining it is not a app fault. phone has 4 large pixel after taking pic it made in 1 large pixel something like that didn't get it very well
