[REQUEST] A rom without Sense-UI?

I read that the wiimote app won't work with sense-ui...so is it possible someone could make a rom with sense-ui removed? A barebones rom would rock. Thanks
As stated on many threads there is no way to remove sense completely atm. Not without an AOSP *correct me if I'm wrong* also this isn't the thread to ask for such things. Just saying.

Not until the source is released... Then hopefully we see some Cyanogen stuff show up in AOSP ROMs for the Evo. i would love to see Darch and Zen from the Hero forum get Evos.
Ok:-d Thanks for the decent response. I was afraid I'd get flamed for a simple question.
I actually looked for the rom before I posted this but I must be blind today.
As soon as we get the kernel source we should see some fully-functional AOSP ROMs. I can't wait.

[DEV ONLY] New Full GingerBread ROM Build 4

Hi Everybody! Found a GingerBread Rom on Evo 4g and thought we should work on getting this on the desire as well. Here is the original Thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=863526
THIS ROM IS USELESS AT THE MOMENT DO NOT FLASH UNLESS YOU PLAN ON DEVELOPING AND REMEMBER THIS IS FOR EVO MUST BE PORTED TO DESIRE FIRST
Download: http://www.multiupload.com/CW0ZLRM3RS
What does work:
Boots
touchscreen
fixed bottom buttons
fixed sdcard
fixed usb
Fixed data (thanks incdoes for some help with this)
Fixed roaming
fixed haptic
fix force phone close
What doesnt work:
Almost everything
Credits to everybody who has made this posible and specialy to Echoside who has done most of the work.
We already have "GingerNinja"?
Sry but isn't this even buggier than Adams release?
EDIT: I never installed this one. It was just, it sounded buggier.
As said in the first post, you can't flash it on the desire as it hasn't been ported.
So far AdamG is currently the only Dev who's released a Gingerbread ROM that you're able to flash for the Desire.

Managed to port some of the framework, nothing close to a release yet, maybe someone can do the job faster then myself?
No point of getting another sdk port to work on desire, it will NEVER run smooth or work well.
We have to wait for the AOSP to be released.
thank you any way mate....
Well, it's worth a try, thanks for it mate.

[Rom] EXPERIMENTAL AOSP Gingerbread for CDMA Desire *New Build 12/27 w/ GPS*

All I have done here is compiled gingerbread from source by following the guide in the cyanogenmod wiki. I am not developing this, just compiling.
Odd_Sam said it best: "Just so everyone understands, this is a rom based off the developmental source code of CyanogenMod 7. OP is not a developer and has no plans to fix any issues that come up. This is more or less a sneak preview of CM 7. OP is just compiling the public source code for CM 7. Treat these "releases" as a "nightly" build. And just for clarification these builds will be experimental so do not report bugs in this thread or anywhere else. CM devs know what does and does not work."
3d acceleration, video camera and network location do not work.
Grab it here: http://ipfreelytech.net/android/update-cm-7-BravoC-1222710-gps.zip
google apps: http://ipfreelytech.net/android/gingerbread-gapps-hdpi-20101221.zip
it seems that its closer to AOSP than CM at this point, while I compiled it with the cyanogen bits, it seems there aren't many cyanogen commits for gingerbread yet, so things like the power control widgets in the notification bar and the cyanogenmod settings menu are missing.
The 3d acceleration is due to a missing library and will likely not be fixed until after the N1 gingerbread OTA drops.
I haven't posted any newer builds because there is more stuff broken compared to this build.
Nice, thanks, will try it right now marry Christmas
looking through the rom, it seems that its closer to AOSP than it CM at this point, while I compiled it with the cyanogen bits, it seems there simply aren't many cyanogen commits for gingerbread yet, so things like the power control widgets in the notification bar and the cyanogenmod settings menu are missing.
installing google apps results in boot loop.
you gonna make one for GSM Desire ?
I do not have a gsm desire for testing, and secondly there are ALREADY gingerbread roms for the gsm desire. I mainly did this because I was tired of CDMA being left out of the gingerbread fun.
if you want gingerbread on your GSM desire go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=829734
if you want to you can do a build yourself the way I did, I followed this guide: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Compile_CyanogenMod_for_Bravo
when you do the repo init change -b froyo to -b gingerbread

bah, I wanted cyanogen gingerbread for gsm
Great work,
So cynogen is back with boom on Xmas.
Sent from my HTC Desire
you GSM users are not missing anything. While I built this as a CM build, at this point its pretty much straight AOSP. besides the boot logo the only thing cyanogen about it is the kernel. I changed the thread title to better reflect that.
I am familiar with compiling cyanogenmod, never tried doing straight AOSP and couldn't find a guide, so thats why the build is as it is.
The cdma crowd had nothing at all in the way of a gingerbread rom posted here or elsewhere i could find on the internets.
You are doing awesome bud even trying to bring something together for the cdma crowd bro! You need to add IN BIG letters on the thread post, NOT FOR GSM YOU HAVE YOUR OWN, ****ERS!!!!!!!! LMFAO!!!!!!!
Merry Christmas every body!!!!!!
Sent from my Desire CDMA using XDA App
Great work, thanks and Merry Christmas!
Gingerbread
Thanks, downloading now.
CM 7
Great work with the update! I couldn't get my contacts to sync. I attempted to import the contacts in vCard to no avail. I didn't play around with it much but look forward to future updates. Happy holidays!
i was trying to figure out how to attempt this.......glad to see someone dev for cdma.
Thanks for trying tip bring us a new rom,i wish others devs would do so too, what we cdma guys only have have 3 roms at the moment and the are all based on CM I believe. I would like to see oxygen and or villain ports to cdma
Just saying lol
Good to see the CDMA Desire get a gingerbread ROM.
I felt like I was getting left out :O
Question though.... are you going to be fixing the issues like 3D Acceleration, or did you just compile this?
So just so everyone understands, this is a rom based off the developmental source code of CyanogenMod 7. OP is not a developer and has no plans to fix any issues that come up. This is more or less a sneak preview of CM 7. OP is just compiling the public source code for CM 7. Treat these "releases" as a "nightly" build. Thank you, I tried very hard to get that point across, but I suspect people don't always read everything. Nightly is exactly what they are, every night I sync the repo and build.
Edited the OP to include a quote of your post.

Are you compiling this on 32 bit or 64 bit?

ROM with Nav bar customization?

Do you know of any roms for the TF300T with navigation bar customization? I was going to get AOKP but that was (well plus GPS) the only thing not working with it.
All that extra room on the nav bar begs to be used lol
Paranoidandroid has it and it may come to ka03 or whatever version of krabappel's ROM as he says he wants to implent KANG features like navbar etc.
Baked Blackbean hast it too, but there I'd recommend you to take the tf700t version (just install it like it's mentioned in a dev thread called "TF700 Roms boot on TF300")
Wouldn't know more roms, just have a look at the features list of the ROMs or search the topic with search function and you'll find the information pretty sure

[Q] lets make a list of ROMS for TeamWin Recovery Project 2.7.1.0(kitkat Bootloader))

Can we start a list of sorts with Roms that work with the new bootloader?? so far i read that Dhacker29 has a few test builds of cm11 . i have one installed right now and it has some bugs but works and is faster than my hd has ever been . i can run this game i like and before it couldnt play without lagging now it runs crazy fast . anyway thank you Dhacker29 for the recovery and rom. i was reading another site and someone mentioned another dev that had a test build out for the new recovery but i cant for the life of me find or remember who it was. also how can i tell if a rom will work without trying to install it. i read that the kernel had to be 3.5 and newer or some shshhsh. anyway thanks in advance to anyone that responds
I second this. Was actually thinking of suggesting the same thing. Might help keep people from flashing the JB kernel Roms and asking what they did wrong. Least maybe a bit more.
>.>
almost forgot
heres a link to Dhackers Test rom that im using . it has a few minor bugs but all the hardware works soo
http://androidhosting.org/Devs/Dhacker29/msm8960/cm-11-20140619-UNOFFICIAL-RAZR-HD_M-KITKAT-TEST.zip
i hope its ok to do this anyway Thanks Dhacker29!!!!
http://androidhosting.org/Devs/Dhacker29/msm8960/
here's the whole directory with all his builds and where I think he adds them
I believe there is a PACMan Alpha out as well. Has the same bugs as CM11

Any stable builds? Maybe some that use stock and then tweak it out.
i think you can install the stock files and then root and use a root app manager to remove all the bloatware from your phone. there is even a thread that tells you all the apps you can get rid of without jacking anything up. here you can check it out

after root you can download xposed installer and then download one of the customizing modules and you can then change your icons in the status bar. nav bar, even alter the way your toast messages come in . anything you can think change the color of your wifi and 4g icons or change them to something entirely diff . here check that out too . you probably already know all this already but just in case.

This is what I did. I was already running stock KK before rooting/unlocking. Still running it now but I removed a lot of crap. I'm looking forward to at least a few stable ROMs to try out on this phone, but I'm cool with this for now.

Does anyone know if the available KK-bootloader roms work on xt925? I know the ROM unification for a lot of devices have taken place. I am not sure this also happens with the new KK-bootlader, or if we are back on the old xt925 vs xt926 compatability devide...

Gummy rom tested on my xt925. Stuck at unlocked bootloader sign. I don't think xt925 is supported yet.
Yeah I don't know if any have xt925 support or not. Hopefully they will include them eventually.
Gummy Rom
I recently tried Gummy Rom for 3.4 kernel. It was pretty good, but had trouble with bluetooth freezing the phone and wifi dropout at times. It has great progress, and appreciate those who are working on it. :good:
I have installed dhacker's 4.4 cm build from 24/6. Happy to report that it boots - and so far, at least - works great. This is on an xt925! It's the first 4.4 bootloader rom other than moto that I have got to actually boot up on this phone.
I installed gummy and have been using the auto updater running nightlies right now I'm running 6-24 build . it seems like the the previous ver. had fixed the screen dimming issue but it seemed to come back on this ver. but rarely happens I haven't tied Bluetooth yet and the popping/static sound issue is still there but other than that I like the rom . thanks for

In droidrzr forums there is an Unofficial Omni Rom for kitkat bootloader..
btw, for xt925, dhacker says that we only need the new bootloader (maybe installing the leaked soak test from France we can use the newest roms)
