So much users have this issue .. model Sm-g970f/ds exynos 9820. Pubg unplay able even after may update frames drop so laggy. The normal solutions not work it's just reduce the lag. Like change resolution from dispaly setting or dolby sound off

Trust me this works, I just found this out right now and had to tell you guys. All you do is lower the brightness in the settings. You'll notice right away that as you keep lowering the brightness the framerate starts increasing. Just jitter your hand while you lower brightness.
I also strongly suggest you lower the contrast(to 1 or 2) in the camera settings to brighten up shadows.
Great. The brightness itself doesn't seem to suffer as it compensates the brightness somehow and the fps is nicceee
D: Brilliant! Well, at least that lessens my dissapointment in my TP xD
This really works. Thank you man.
I just tested it out by recording 2 videos. One at normal brightness, and one with 0 brightness.
The zero brigthness is CLEARLY more fluid. HTC you suck for not giving us good frame rates out of the box. Also lowering the brightness level doesn't seem to actually make the video much darker.
What!!? I can't believe this works!! It's awesome!
Now we just need a program to change the backlight up and down when the camera app is open/closed!
What is the framerate if you dont do this?
I made those adjustments and it makes the shadows appear VERY grainy.
Are you talking about fps in preview mode or does it actually change the fps when recording video?
Thanks.
Cool, I'll try it as soon as I get home.
do you mean i have to put brightnes to 9 o to the lower possible value (-1.5)?
TNX
is there a chance to do that in the xperia x1?
My recordings are still 18fps after doing this, but the video is much smoother when recording in low light areas (which is pretty much anywhere in-doors).
first of all why there is no zooming during video recording on o3d
and other main problem when i record video during video recording video stop for half second then smooth and then after some time its again stop for half second then smooth
please give solution this problem f****k my brain
sorry for my bad english
will some one help me OR not??
man I have the exact same problem. Can anyone help?
higher bitrate cause this problem
maybe next update can fix this problem
sorry for may english
then is there any way to low the bit rate????
unfortunatly no
lg company don't care about this problem
may be xda developer team can fix this problem
For now you can set your resoulation on D1 from camera settings and wait for fix
good luck
actually I think there is a way to lower the bitrate. In video quality there's three options: normal, fine, superfine.I have superfine as default and sometimes causes me problems(video saved on internal storage because my microsd is class 4-lower writting than internal).Try fine or normal (I prefer fine) to see if it's ok.
I may buy a class 10 microsd so that it can deal with high bitrate videos
Great that's Worked for me
set resoulation on Full HD
set video quality to fine
set storage to Internal memory
problem solved
I noticed that 4k video has alot of Stuttering. I am recording directly to the phones memory, and it happens if recording handheld or even on a stabilizer. Is anyone else having similar issues or know a fix?
Here is a sample video recording:
If you go to camera settings and turn off stabilization it will be fine. Ois will still work this just turns off eis.
Eis uses a lot of cpu power and thus the stuttering. Known issue. Hopefully there will be a fix

Thanks, didn't think a feature would make it not work well. I think it would be better if they disabled it by default since it causes issues in 4k. But this will work for now.
Same issue
I have the same issue but it lags then speeds up, I looked for a shutter setting in my camera, but there isn't one. Has there been a fix for this yet?
This has happened on any Android phone that I have used since the Note 4. I have the phone set to record to the SD card (A fast SD card capable of 100mb/s). Image stabilization and auto focus are turned off. I begin recording and everything is starts out smooth for a few seconds. Then a slight pause. The footage then speeds up to compensate. At first I thought this was merely a playback issue. I exported the video to my PC and the same lag is apparent. I hate to say this, but I have never had this issue on iPhones.
So it's been almost a month with my XZP and it just starting to become very painful for me. I don't necessarily play a lot of games in my device but I don't want them to lag whenever I please to play. I believe it is an hardware issue and as I always had some suspicions with my device's screen. Anyway here goes the problem.
Whenever I play some power demanding 3D games on XZP, I always seem to have FPS stuttering and pixel glitches, which is frustrating. But I am unable to reproduce this issue (*) as it happens randomly.
*I can easily reproduce this issue when I force my screen resolution to 4k. Here goes the screenshots, excuse the quality as I have no other device to capture that moment.

Game is original GTA3, with 4K resolution forced in order to reproduce the bug

Hi,
It may happen if you force the speed beyond the hardware capabilities. every hardware has its own limitations.
Let me explain with a simple example. Assume that your hardware is capable of playing 1080p at 60 fps. If you play a 1080p (30fps video) at 2x speed, then your hardware also needs to decode 2x frames. i.e 60 frames per second. But, it's the actual threshold of your device. If you increase more than that, then the video may not be reaching the required speed while audio may play at the required speed. If Audio Video is not in sync, then MX Player will pause the audio for a moment till video catches up with the audio position.
You can check some lower resolution or lower fps videos, It may go up to max speed (i.e 4x).
