Good to see op3 still alive.
Great work.!!
As the name "powersave" is given for the ROM,
I expect it to be very much battery friendly.
I will flash it definitely. @ajithzres
1) Will it be unofficial forever or may become official in future?
2)Will there be any extra advantages of unofficial over official build?
3)Is encryption supported?
4)How is the build status-weekly, biweekly or monthly?
@ajithzres
Will you also please state/link the version of TWRP and firmware to be used along with this ROM?
Yes its battery friendly

I can't comment on this now, I will try to make it official but no promises
2)Will there be any extra advantages of unofficial over official build?
No
3)Is encryption supported?
It should support
4)How is the build status-weekly, biweekly or monthly?
Bi-weekly I will try or when ever there is a major release.

The latest version of the official TWRP is 3.3.1-0. I think it should fit the requirement.
If I recall Version : twrp-3.2.3-1-oneplus3.img had formating issues.
---------- Post added at 10:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:36 AM ----------
I am very excited to use this ROM with custom kernel. As the ROM is already battery friendly, I think it should give more juice with custom kernel like Madkernel.
You are free to use any custom kernels with this ROM

I'm giving a try, so here are some differences i found:
-MIUI Camera Port
- I thing it has a Custom kernel (Linux version 4.4.169-RV-2.0) don't know what is that.
- Some customization stuff are mission, like recent ui clear bottom positions.

Okay thanks for the information. The kernel seems interesting. One question, What features does the kernel have?
Mission? Do you mean missing?

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

This 4.9 Kernel Based Rom/Kernel Was Actually Inspired From Rama[ Can Find his ID in the Contributions Area ]. He Was The Guy Who Started this Project For Vince & Then For Sakura, he Actually Discontinued In the Middle. The Other Minor Kernel Based Work was done by Faarish.
So Here We Introduce the 1st Rom with 4.9 Kernel Base.
ROM : DOWNLOAD ROM
GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing Lineage 4.9 Kernel Based Rom to your Redmi 6 Pro, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy Lineage zip, gapps zip
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of LineageOs:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

First time installing crDroid to your X01BD, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
5) Flash gapps
6) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

The best custom Android 10 ROM I have ever used so far, and the battery and ram management just phenomenal even in 3gb of RAM. Great Job!
Android auto is freezing and makes the system reboot itself

Android 10 ofcourse.
Hi @legacy07
First of all, thanks for maintaining official crDroid for this phone. As I also mentioned already on your crDroid Pie thread earlier, I really like this ROM. It is based on LineageOS with added customizations which makes it quite a good combo.
However, most of the Custom ROMs here except for the Official LineageOS and Official ArrowOS, use a Kernel which is heavily deviated from the Linux-Stable one. For example, messing with Refresh Rate of screen or unnecessary overclocks (which I don't think actually work). I am not really a fan of such untested, unnecessary additions.
You seem to be using a relatively stable Kernel which seems to be in-line with Linux-Stable (in your Pie Builds). So, I wanted to know which Kernel are you using for this one? The source isn't mentioned here (at the time of writing this). Further, a source with commit history will be really appreciated.
There is one request of mine. Can you put out a standalone LineageOS or ArrowOS Kernel compiled for your crDroid? It would be helpful for guys like me if you don't want to ship that Kernel by default in your builds.
Once again, thanks for maintain such an Amazing ROM for our device.

Well, I haven't decided whether to continue with the kernel "katnis" which was used in pie builds. I made it just because I found some features I used seem missing in the Arrow kernel. In this initial build, i have used the kernel of lineageos. The future depends on the public opinion of this build, afterwards the source will be updated accordingly.
Will there be support for the "smart bar" of navigation buttons, as in Pie?

Great! I'll switch to the initial build. However, I hope you continue using the ArrowOS Kernel. :good:

Crdroid always comes with a safehouse kernel which never supports smart/fast charging or such bleeding edge features. If you need the feature, change the kernel under your own risk
hello sir,Can add quick LTE toggle function, in quicksetting not
thansk
Found a bug where after some time the network traffic indicator is stuck at some values and does not refreshes even if we turn on and off the internet again.

And Navigation bar visibility toggle state won't remain after reboot.

I love crDroid but I can't figure out why 6.0 won't boot up if I remove system apps, even though Music, Mail and Browser which I could remove with no problem in 5.9.

Thanks for the info.
But I've tried many times but no luck.
I tried with System App Safe Remover.
Would you tell me how you removed the apps?

Looks nice. Wich launcher is included with the ROM?
Thanks for development and support... Loved the new setting layout .. every available customization feature works other then long press for torch option. Lock screen wakes up as the said option doesn't seem to work. Nonetheless awesome build ...:good:
hi, i have several questions.
My xiaomi redi note4x (mido) has the default kernel, that is, the one that starts with 3.0. Do I need to update the kernel to install it, or does it install automatically with the installation of the custom rom?
Is this rom updated by ota?
Does this rom bring screen color clibration by default? The latter is so that my screen does not suffer an error that it already has and I solve it by adjusting the colors. Thanks for reading and I hope you reply soon
Yes it will flash 4.9 kernel
No ota as of now
An yes display calibration is present in Xiaomi parts
