[CLOSED][4.9][ROM][UNOFFICIAL][9.0.0][sakura] LineageOS 16.0[09.04.2019] - Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Ot

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Always Have a full functional Backup. Just in case!
This 4.9 Kernel Based Rom/Kernel Was Actually Inspired From Rama[ Can Find his ID in the Contributions Area ]. He Was The Guy Who Started this Project For Vince & Then For Sakura, he Actually Discontinued In the Middle. The Other Minor Kernel Based Work was done by Faarish.
So Here We Introduce the 1st Rom with 4.9 Kernel Base.
ROM : DOWNLOAD ROM
GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing Lineage 4.9 Kernel Based Rom to your Redmi 6 Pro, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy Lineage zip, gapps zip
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of LineageOs:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
KNOWN ISSUES
Torch Wont Work
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

its a good question and here is answer....
kernel 4.9 improve performance and battery life. Main thing, amongst other things like improved security and way newer drivers, is the EAS.

Lets Not Go OT, Talking About other Roms Here :good: . And yeah Dont Expect Kernel Updates anytime soon. Once 4.9 kernel based Roms are Pretty Stable, I would Work on ThunderStorm 4.9 Kernel Base

Introduction:
Hello everyone, this is my build of LineageOS with full Substratum support, and by that I mean rootless Substratum, with all its goodies! Yay!
Installation:
- Download the ROM
- Download a gapps package of your choice. I recommend Open GApps, but if you're more fond of Beans GApps, it should give you no trouble
- Put both zips in the root of your internal storage (/sdcard) or copy them to a USB OTG drive if you have one
- Make sure you have the latest TWRP installed
- Reboot to recovery and flash both zips sequentially (ROM first, obviously)
Always clean flash (wipe data + system) when coming from another ROM!
If you're coming from official LineageOS and want to try dirty flashing, check reserved post #4.
- Reboot to system and have fun!
How do I su?
It's up to you. There are four options:
1. Lineage's su addon (my preferred!)
2. SuperSU
3. Magisk
4. phh's Superuser
Download:
LineageOMS for falcon
Thanks to:
The LineageOS team: this is all their work, I only added the necessary hooks for OMS and exposures
The Substratum team: their dedication would not make this possible (special kudos to @nathanchance for his thread on how to add OMS support to LineageOS)
@himavanth.reddy925 - I used his template for my thread. He built LineageOMS for osprey and merlin a while ago. Link to his thread

F.A.Q. (Read this before crying!!!!)
Q: Oh look at him! He's building ROMs now!
A: This is my first attempt at it. Please on't expect me to perform flawlessly. And I don't know how long I'll be in this game for.
Q: Why did you come up with this ROM?
A: Because there were no LineageOMS builds for our dear Moto G.
Q: Will you maintain this project?
A: On a weekly basis, at most. But expect me to release new builds bi-weekly or when the LineageOS team merges the latest security patches.
Q: Can you also maintain for device xyz?
A: For now I plan on maintaining only for falcon (and perhaps titan). But if there's interest, I can maintain for the whole Motorola MSM8x26 family (falcon/peregrine/titan/thea).
Q: ERMAHGERD DIS ROM SUCKZ, MAH BATTERY IS DEAD IN 30 MINS, PLZ HALP!
A: Apart from the OMS exposures/hooks, I haven't changed a single line of code from the original LineageOS sources. So I don't know what can be the cause of your battery draining that quickly. Please do check your wakelocks.
Q: What works and what doesn't?
In theory, everything should work, and nothing should be broken, since this ROM was based on the latest (official) LineageOS source code.
Q: Will you add feature xyz from rom abc?
A: No. I don't plan on deviating from LineageOS. Let's keep things simple.
Q: How do I report bugs?
A: If you wanna report a bug, send me a logcat. In case of a kernel panic, /proc/last_kmsg will help.
Q: How do I flash this?
A: I suggest you scroll up and read the OP. The instructions are there.
Q: How do I tweak this ROM?
A: LineageOS offers quite a few customisation options, and for theming, there's full OMS/Substratum support. If you still want more tweaks, use Xposed and GravityBox. (Just be careful to avoid conflicts)
Q: This kid is such a n00b!
A: Oh well then, why don't you go build a ROM yourself, instead of criticizing my work and consequently wasting your time?
Screenshots:
Instructions on how to migrate from official LineageOS:
(For those of you who want to dirty flash)
Remove all Substratum overlays before doing this! Remember that official LineageOS still uses legacy RRO which is incompatible with OMS! Don't do this and you'll most certainly get a bootloop.
- Download the official-to-unofficial ZIP file and push it to your phone (either via adb or via USB cable)
- Reboot to recovery
- Flash the ZIP
- Flash my LineageOMS build
- Reboot
In case you decide to go back to official LOS builds, repeat the above steps, but use the unofficial-to-official ZIP instead.
LineageOS with rootless OMS is a best combination. Thanks Dev for this ROM. Gonna try this now

I know, but we must also encourage good forum etiquette.
Thanks for this build, BTW. The most stable option for a Moto G right now is Lineage 14.1 and OMS commits mean I can run completely rootless!

Yeah, it's been a long while since someone last built LineageOMS for the Moto G. Since I figured out how easy it was to add OMS support to Lineage, I decided to do it myself. Enjoy!

Known issues:
-- none --
FAQ:
Could you add XYZ feature?
I will not add features I personally think are useless. I can only promise I'll take it into consideration. If you're so single-minded about that just fork my repo and pull request - I'll pick it gladly.
"My phone freezees help meeee!!!!!!!11oneoneone..."
Description, logcat, kmesg or GTFO.
Could your changes damage my device?
I don't take any responsibility for broken devices, firing from work or nuclear wars. It's a hobby project maintained in my free time. I carefully pick up changes not to mess anything up and add features that are checked and provided to work correctly. There is a small chance you could loose your phone completely, typically it will just freeze and reboot.
Where is version for MIUI/EAS?
MIUI won't be supported because Xiaomi haven't updated their repo for a long time. Building for MIUI would bring more problems than advantages.
EAS is in testing stage and will be released soon.

- Some customization stuff are mission, like recent ui clear bottom positions.

DOWNLOAD ROM
GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your ENTER-PHONE-NAME, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Thanks a lot.
In other pie based roms and also the previous builds of Crdroid there is a bug in dialer due to which while making outgoing calls it does not shows call duration. Is that bug has been patched in this build?
Thanking in anticipation.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Information:
This is an OSS non-dimlayer vendor built rom.
Based on the latest Android Security Patch
Latest LineageOS changes according to the ROM date release
NFC icon on status bar (when enabled)
Burn-in icon protection
Blur toggle moved to Display section
Stability and performance improvements
Safetynet passes out of box
You can flash custom kernels but no support will be provided
Recovery and Widevine L1 persists if patched via MIUI.
Known issues:
None. You found one? Please report it here by providing a description with a log or a video if necessary.
Installation Instructions :
Assuming you have an unlocked bootloader, a recovery installed and the ROM zip:
Go to recovery (Official TWRP is recommended)
Wipe Data/Cache/System/Vendor
It is recommended to flash latest Android 11 firmware (not vendor) according to your region
Flash the ROM
Flash your favourite gapps (optional step)
Flash DFE (optional step if you are not encrypted)
Reboot
NOTE: I always recommend following these steps. Also there's no need to flash any kind of MIUI Vendor.

Need to change data to f2fs!? And out of curiosity, which kernel is used?
Wow, thanks, a must try. Are u going to keep maintenance? Is call recording and miracast working?
Edit: miracast works, call recording not

It should support both ext4 and f2fs.
Could be his own kernel
Is it Vanilla build ? I would like to install Vanilla build.
I never is OSS vendor built. If future upgrade from this ROM, can I dirty flash ? I use encryption.
Thanks
Hi Englezos - great effort, I'm using this now. One issue - I can't answer normal phone calls. When someone calls the phone rings, but there is nothing showing that allows it to be answered?
Clean install following your instructions.
Any suggestions?

Yes. This was the problem. The default app is becomes not set in the clean install + Nik gapps core. Thanks.
How is this different from the other "unofficial" lineageos 18.1 Rom?

I don't like these kind of questions to be honest. But for the record I've been releasing my personal builds on my github profile since Jun 7, 2020. I will check what I can do for call recording even though I don't use it.

Feature wise it's the same goold old LineageOS ROM. I don't like bloat I enjoy simplicity and stability. Code wise its completely different since its OSS. Try and let us know.

I understand from other ROM change to your ROM. I need clean flash. I mean when next update for your rom. I also need clean flash to update is better. Right ?
Thanks for the answers.
Does this rom have adaptive battery charging to restrict maximum charging percentage?

Official LOS builds don't have this feature...very likely that this build too will not have it

Excuse me. I didn't want to bother you, just notice that some devs share experimental builds and then stop. Thanks for check call rec, I know that Octavi Os have it working, I hope it helps.
Hello, I can't install the rom, I have the lineageos logo that appears and after 30 seconds it comes back to TWRP. I did Wipe Data/Cache/System/Vendor

Same issue here.
Could it be because I have data and system as F2FS?
I tried in F2FS and ext4 and it's the same

You might need to format data to boot into OS. IF you are not particular about encryption then flash dfe and it will boot.
