Good day guys,
Sorry to probably ask this question for the millionth time or revive old/dead posts. Can the Pixel 3 XL stuff work on the Pixel 3?
Like roms, kernels etc..please enlighten me. I will receive my Pixel soon and would like to mod it. I am not seeing a lot of stuff out there for the Pixel 3 though...or is it just me?
Many thanks in advance

Hey guys! To all those who have ordered and awaiting their 7a, I would like to know why you are not waiting for the 7? I am in the market for a new phone and I am thinking between the Find 7 variants/Oneplus One/M8. The M8 will probably be last resort if I am not able to get my hands on the other two phones due to timing reasons. Anyways, I would love to hear your guys' thought process(?) or preferences. Thanks in advance!!
There are multiple threads discussing this topic. You only have to look in the Question and answer section, where actually your thread belongs too.

Hi everyone. I'm new here so if I write anything wrong here, please tell me, I will not do it again.
I am developing a One UI ROM for the Pixel 3 XL and I thought if any of you could help me test it and remove all of the bugs from it.
Thanks
P.S:I don't have enough money to buy that phone myself because of the high rate of US Dollar in my country. Here a phone for $200 is too expensive for us

I'm excited about this project. I would love it if we had a ROM which would use the same icons on status bar as those on Samsung phones. I just don't have the knowledge to do it myself. Those is the one thing I hate about Pixel phones (their boring icons). I'm willing to test it out on my Pixel 3Xl. You might want to repost this on the Pixel 3Xl forum so you can get more people interested.

Thanks for your interest
I was developing it and it is compiling. Once it is done
I will post a link to the ROM for you to test it out and if you can post in the development thread, please post it there because I cannot. I have a low count of posts
Thanks
P.S I will also add a donate button over time

I guess I should wait until we can see if it works before I post it. I don't want to post something that is not proven to work yet.

I know it's rude to ask about timelines, but when do you think you may have it ready for testing? Are you just getting started or almost finished?
It's okay, you can ask for timelines at any time
I'm on the downloading part of the source code and it's almost finished. Maybe in 2-3 days I will upload a link
Never hesitate to ask for ETA's

I guess you weren't able to do much with it. That's too bad. If you ever get around to it, I'm willing to test it out.

Hi everyone
I've been looking at the Xiaomi Mix 3 5G. Looks like it has a good camera which is important to me.
Any other suggestions please?
Thanks

I've made a small search, and for this price I think the one you picked is the best. If you don't have any other answers here you can always post there : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1846277
It's plenty of good people that are used to that kind of questions.
If anyone has a dbrand grip for the pixel 4 they would be willing to part with please let me know. They have been discontinued and I can't find one anywhere including ebay
You might want to post on the pixel 4 forums since this one is for the XL version.

Yup, thanks for pointing that out. I spend 99.9% of my reading and posting in the XL forum as it's about a hundred times more active and just about everything can be applied to both size phones so I posted this without even thinking of which forum I was currently in.
There are tons of complaints on the official oneplus Nord forum and XDA about connectivity, brightness, notifications and screen issues.
We have sent a lot of logs to help the oneplus team with zero feedbacks.
It's been 3 months and several updates, nothing is fixed. The community needs answers.
Could someone take a look at this and help us being heard by oneplus with an official XDA article ?
All being N00bs ("Cupcakes") and/or first timers coming from Apple: to be ignored.
Yeah, an XDA article could make a difference. Oneplus seems to be ignoring even the major bugs like internet connectivity issue. Its really annoying and ruining the day to day experience of device.
Even after several major updates and submission of complaints and logs, OnePlus didn't fix the issues till now.

it's a disaster too many bugs to sell it but oneplus team pays reviewers well
Same here. Most common bug and irritating bug is, google feed/discover won't load while on mobile data. Rest i can live with, but leaves me also by aLOT of question marks!
After all-around, this is my second OP Device, and my last one!
(ps and i don't think that A11 is gonna solve those issues)
My 2 cents..
Forget google feed/discover, I'm even having connectivity issues with other apps

Same here! I am facing connectivity issues while playing game, browsing, google feed, google lens via gallery/camera, maps. That is a lot!!
There is already a port of stock dialer for 8t and not for nord please someone port it
Perhaps a thread or even a development section which details learning resources where long time members (like myself) who have been on the scene for years (but can't actually contribute anything worthwhile) can learn how to contribute without getting flamed for asking stupid questions alongside others with a similar mentality?
Absolutely, but had zero spare time to push this kind of things atm

See Oneplus 7 and 7T GPS issues. All swept under the rug.
The 8 Pro display issues? People still recommend it regardless of OP having the utmost worst warranty on this planet.
Random fanboys just pop up if you mention issues and just keep defending the company and I don't know why.
I am baffled by the fact they are so unwilling to see that the current OnePlus phones are really subpar quality. I am a huge OnePlus fan, but even I see that there are many problems.
Like now I want to get a OnePlus, because I really loved my 7 Pro, minus the GPS. But what to buy?
7/7T? Bad GPS. Nord? So many issues. 8 Pro? Display issues. 8T? Already seen a dozen problems on XDA.
Maybe the 8 looks like a viable option, I don't know. Maybe.
