About LineageOS:
LineageOS is a free and open source operating system for smartphones and tablets, based on the Android mobile platform. It is the successor to the custom ROM CyanogenMod from which it was forked in December 2016 when Cyanogen Inc. announced it was discontinuing development and shut down the infrastructure behind the project. Since Cyanogen Inc. retained the rights to the Cyanogen name, the project rebranded its fork as LineageOS.
LineageOS was officially launched on December 24, 2016, with the source code available on GitHub. Since that time, LineageOS development builds now cover more than 185 phone models with over 1.7 million active installs, having doubled its user base in the months February–March 2017
Attention! Your warranty is now void. I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

Please fix shutter sound of camera if I off the sound but still theres a sound. Sorry for my bad english

@MyCats, thanks for your build! Is there any chance of you becoming the new official Lineage maintainer for whyred?
Just asking because it seems like all the requirements towards functionality are fullfilled

Can the encryption system log in to lastest twrp with a password?

I guess we have to flash Gapps?
And I would like to know if it is necessary to go through Orange Fox recovery or if TWRP is enough

All devices must be configured for SELinux Enforcing. Almost all whyred ROMs (including PixelExperience) is in permissive mode, it is very hard to configure it, but I'll try

Thank you. How can I get the source files of the kernel of this ROM? I have to compile every AOSP kernel because the HALL sensor works incorrectly and there is no option in AOSP ROM to disable the smart cover so I have to remove the hall.c driver.

When will the official lineage come out?

LTE is working, but only on SIM 1.
Which kernel are you using? I got an compile error in vendor/qcom/opensource/dataservices/librmnet because some symbols from this file: https://android.googlesource.com/pl...llow-dr-dev/kernel-headers/linux/rmnet_data.h are missing, which isn't located in your kernel trees?
Nevermind, looks like CM did include it (qc dataservices) per default since 3 days.

Well here's the first thing , never use an overclocked kernel on lineageOS and the 2nd thing is Rom is pretty stable as I have checked all the features , I can surely recommend peeps to this LineageOS build !

Thanks Adrian for such a great rom
Can you please add hide notch option from PE Rom in future updates?
The default option in developer option menu is a little buggy i.e the corners are more rounded than enough or after taking SS photo is a little bit cropped
Thanks

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

I'm in this ROM for almost 5 months now and whit my changes it's different from the original now, but I can tell you that it's pure LOS
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Same as LineageOS 15.1, Anderson based on Official tree, not same as Lilblinx or Aryan, they based on Zeelog source.

Did you check my PM on xda? Anderson already know, i told him.
OP edited whit all relevant information
This could be good I've actually tried Anderson's build of LOS Pie before when there's multiple maintainers in one thread and I'll say that it's more stable than the others imo.
Anyone having issue with app banking? My app banking detect root, but i'm not using any mod.
Edited: ALREADY FIXED
