LTE is working, but only on SIM 1.

Which kernel are you using? I got an compile error in vendor/qcom/opensource/dataservices/librmnet because some symbols from this file: https://android.googlesource.com/pl...llow-dr-dev/kernel-headers/linux/rmnet_data.h are missing, which isn't located in your kernel trees?
Nevermind, looks like CM did include it (qc dataservices) per default since 3 days.

I have committed the necessary kernel changes. Look at the github repos, the links in the OP have been updated.

I Think the error in sim cards is already solved, thank you

yes thank you its finally here i really want to try that but i will wait for RIL to be fixed thank you very much
I install with mini gapps pie. The sim does not go, so neither calls nor data. It gets pretty hot when loading and downloading apps but it's very, very fluid ... the most. 100% pixel interface. I have installed my 100 apps on the cloud drive via WiFi and they work well with the ones I have tried with screen overlay ... good keyboards. File manager good.
The camera does not detect sd or sd ext, but files can be moved between sd and sd ext. The gallery is fast mega to upload and I have about 5 thousand photos and a hundred videos ....
Does not work: Slide finger on sup bar for brightness, Change side clock, Dark mode, change icons, sim for calls and data, The brightness very high to the minimum, some togles do not respond and the night mode I do not see it ....
.... Thanks for the work and wanting to have a final version! I hope it helps the devs.
Still missing, .. to this rom and PIE will improve the Android experience .... Thanks!

Haggertk is main dev primarily for s5 device , s5 also don't have SIM card working yet on pie. So as soon it get fixed there it will be fixed on note 3 as hardware wise s5/note 3 have basically same hardware.
I come from earlier version of OS 16,
When I flash it from TWRP, It complaint about device name error with 7
I also changed my build.prop file to make them match but it is still having the same issue

Hello~I'm a Chinese user but came across to see that new post. Actually I'm having the dual SIM e8 and succeeded to install this rom, so trying to share how I resolve it.
the first issue I met is, "E3004: This package is for device: htc_e8,htc_mecwhl,htc_mectl,htc_mecul,htc_mecul_emea; this device is xxx"
1. open the zip, navigate to the relative path
lineage-15.1-20190113-UNOFFICIAL-e8-modified.zip\META-INF\com\google\android
2. re-save "updater-script", modify it by adding your device type, for me I just added below line as per seeing from the error msg
getprop("ro.build.product") == "htc_mecdugl"
3. replace the original "updater-script" with the version we created in #2
4. install the zip by recovery
the second issue I saw is saying the system is already mounted
what I did is simply wipe system partition : )
the third issue is about root
1. install Magisk-v18.1.zip (which is a patch package for system level) by recovery
2. install MagiskManager-v7.0.0.apk to your mobile phone in order to manage root privilege
You can download from github release
Good luck to you!
i use this rom from last week and after 7 day i say this rom is great. every thing are good. so smooth battery life is good and better than stock . i take about 5 hours screen on. just camera in video mode cant record and close after 1 seconde
Is there any possibility you could make a dual sim version? I would be willing to test.
Dual sim version please

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

so, this replaces the files in the vendor partition, right?
if so, how can you go back to the original files?

Hey, thanks for the ROM!
One thing, USB OTG isn't working, fyi
Fresh installed, everything seems to be working fine!
Greetings
Thomas
Are you planning to provide regular builds? And are you planning to make this build official in time?
Pretty Stable.. OTG working for me..
Navigation does not feel smooth.. need to tap multiple times.. to get recent apps.. however this is the early build.. but overall experience is great..
Anyone can test wifi tethering please? Thanks!
