I have TMobile and Verizon sim set up. TMO is set as primary sim. Verizon sim can send texts but I am unable to receive texts on that sim. Any help would be great
I reached out to the MVNO and they refreshed the sim settings and after a restart all is well.

[Q] HTC One E8 LTE Dual Sim

im planning to get this phone as im getting sick carrying 2 phones around all the time. 1 line is for work and its important its always reachable for voice calls all the time. the other line is for my personal use, mostly use for data.... both lines have LT3, so im planning to put my personal line in the primary/lte SIM tray and work line in the secondary/2g SIM tray. question: if im on a voice call in primary SIM, what happens to an incoming voice call in secondary SIM? Will the incoming voice call to secondary SIM drop or will i be given an option to pick it? Specs shows this is standby (so phone only comes with 1 radio/antenna?), so i think at any given time only 1 SIM will be active, is that right? Is there a setting in the phone for the call diverts from SIM 2 to SIM 1 with call waiting option? Im really hoping those who uses the dual sim function can provide some of your experience. thank you.
Hi, on my E8 (M8sw), If there is a call on SIM 1, SIM 2 will be unreachable so no option to pick up, and likewise when on a call on SIM 2. SIM 1 has LTE, SIM 2 GSM only.
As for call waiting and call diverts, if your mobile provider allows it then it will work.

CDMA to GSM , sprint to tmobile problems

Trying to switch from CDMA to GSM, sprint to tmobile and tried 2 ways that haven't worked. 1st way involved selecting preferred network to global ,swapping out SIM cards ,selecting APN . The 2nd way was dialing *#*#72786#*#*, swapping SIM cards, while phone is restarting select APN, restart.
Our phone came with a free 1 yr service from FreedomPop. I'm suppose to be able to cancel service at any time.
I also took the phone to a wireless repair store and they told me the phone can't be switched to GSM. I've read that it can. HELP!!!
The main problem is that the phone can't send texts or call out. It can receive calls and texts.

Mobile data not working during call

Hi
I am having an issue with mobile data being turned off during a call. I have a dual SIM S8+, when I call on sim 1 the data on sim 2 turns off.
I have it set up that sim 1 is calls and texts and sim 2 is mobile data.
Any ideas how to fix this
Thanks
S8 is dual sim dual standby and not dual sim full active, so when one sim is active on a call the other will be deactivacted and cannot receive calls or used for data at the same time. It is not an error and it cannot be fixed.
Thank you for that. If I just use one sim on the phone. Then will I have data active while calling?

If you have data set to sim 1 you will have data during a call on sim 1, but not while on a call on sim 2, and vice versa.
If you only have one sim in the phone, you will always use the same sim for data and calls, so you will not luse data.

SMS/MMS group text issues

While I'm on a call, I can't send or receive texts. I have the GM1917. I have AT&T in SIM1 & Tmo in SIM2. Once I disconnect from the call, it ends up sending the text whether it be an SMS or MMS.
Another thing I've noticed is when I got the phone, I had the option/ability to turn on VoWiFi and VoLTE for the Tmo SIM. But after the last two updates, I don't have those options anymore.
Anyone with insight as to why I'm having these 2 issues? Another weird thing is VoLTE is available for my AT&T SIM, but I thought AT&T didn't allow VoLTE unless it was a phone from them.
Build: OOS 9.5.6.GM21AA
Model: GM1917
A little more about my setup:
I was having issues with receiving MMS group texts while using the default Tmo APN settings, so I created a new APN using the settings from the tmo website.
The issues were it would take 5-10 minutes to receive a group text, and often times they came in the incorrect order.
I saw there were updates for the 7 Pro available, but my phone wasn't receiving the updates. So I used the OOS Updater app to download the update and install it manually.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Well, here's an update:
When I change the data sim from AT&T to Tmo, the options to enable VoLTE and VoWiFI show back up when I select SIM2. At this point when I look at SIM1 the VoLTE option is not showing anymore.
So it seems as though when I change the Data SIM, only that SIMs "Enhanced Communications" option is viewable. Is this working as intended?

Voicemail App for eSim not working because uses wrong network

I have dual sim on the T-Mobile version. I am trying to get visual voicemail apps to work for both carriers however T-Mobile is the secondary sim and the T-Mobile app is therefore scanning the wrong network for voicemail (can't force it to go on sim 2 data on an app basis). Any suggestions?
