About Project:
Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices, Cardinal is being built with Uber toolchain, with most of uber optimizations, with full Substratum Support and with minimal customization, the main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. Thanks to the devs for bringing oreo version to this device. I really enjoyed this rom.
Just a word of caution to those who intend to update their devices.
I came from the 23 Feb build, I dirty flashed 8 Mar build over and wiped caches, seems like none of the ota survival scripts made it thru, e.g. Magisk and gapps will be missing upon reboot. Flashing gapps again doesn't help, Google play services just keeps force closing. Only going back to the 23 Feb build helped.
Will do a clean flash once I do a proper backup.
Any official update procedures from the devs?

disable the ambient music that you will not have a drain, I have no problem with drain.
You can not change the physical buttons because this option has not been added yet, it would be good if you can.

How to swap back and recent buttons ? Its very annoying to use phone when used to back mapped to right side button.
Otherwise very good ROM! Cheers.

You can use an app like kernel adiutor. If the rom supports it, there will be a switch there. Otherwise, use EX kernel manager and manually change it

Presuming your phone is rooted with twrp than read on,
Boot into recovery and do a full backup of your current rom,
Wipe dalvik-cache, and data, not internal storage and not system,
Flash rom, flash twrp zip,
Reboot recovery and again flash rom and twrp zip,
Now reboot recovery again,
Flash gapps and flash magisk if you want root,
Reboot system, done.

Restart phone and see if it works, if not you can reinstall rom without wiping anything, so you won't loose any data, but may be it gets sorted, cheers

When clicking on display settings my phone kicked me out of the settings and back to the home screen. Can someone help me figure that out pleas.

I tried flashing again, and it force encrypted my data and then wouldn't boot :/ I ended up booting the ROM I was previously running from the other slot, and then did a restore from TWRP.

By the way just wondering if worp charge and dash charge is not working for anyone els. When I plug the phone in to the charger from the box it tells me charging slow and takes from 0-100 percent to charge in 2 hours
