I have a Mac so I downloaded Heimdall, and I finally found a guide to do it but I'm still missing something.
It says I need to download the Pit file and the CF-Root of chainfire for my kernel version, and I have no clue what these are.
They also say I can find them here on xda but I didn't find them.
I resume:
- I have a mac
- I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 plus, GT-I9105P

Il mio cell è un samsung s2plus e ho un mac, quindi ho installato heimdall.. poi finalmente ho trovato una guida sensata, però ho ancora problemi.. mi dice di scaricare "il file Pit e il CF-Root di chainfire disponibile su XDA e relativo alla vostra versione del kernel" testuali parole.
Io qui non l'ho trovato, qualcuno sa aiutarmi?

I've HTC One E8 ( Model OPAJ300 M8Sn ) that is single SIM version and should be something like EU version where HTC don't sell their dual SIM phone.
I've the problem when I'm under roaming ( where my operator is not covered by signal ) that the DATA traffics turns on automatically if I call a refresh on browser, or open an APP that require Internet connection.
Really i don't know why because on all my oder phone i never noticed something like that. i Think could be a BUG in this HTC software due to the all variants of E8 model.
Some other noted this BUG? I can do something? ( at the moment I'm taking all mobile data turned off, and enable it only when I really need and I see that I0m under my operator signal )

Io in realtà non avendo visto ROM particolarmente interessanti sviluppate per il ONE E8 a singola SIM, non l'ho nemmmeno rootato al momento il mio. Provo a vedere cosa trovo in giro ma in realtà se non ci sono ROM interessanti preferirei rimanere full stock, se proprio proprio non riesci a reperire la RUU da nessun'altra parte riscrivimi e vedo di mettere la TWRP e passarti il tutto.

Da poco ho acquistato un galaxy s6 (sm-n 920I) usato.
ho istallato una rom non ufficiale e all'attivazione è risultato che la cartella efs ha perso tutti i file (imei ecc..) ora il telefono non si connette piu alla rete e cosa piu strana non riesco a tornare neanche alla rom sock tramite odin. ho portato il cell in un centro assistenza ma dicono che neanche la box scrive su questo telefono.
come posso fare? ho provato tutti i tutorial senza avere risultati. grazie!

He could just bring it to a repair shop. Those should be able to fix the issue. But gaving an efs backup would help. Also try smart switch.
