[Q] Remove the lock?

Hello, on all the phones I've rooted before and had a tampered logo somewhere on the boot screen, I was able to remove it, but on this phone I have no idea how to get rid of the unlocked lock on the Google boot screen, anyone know how to fix this? Or is it impossible?

fastboot oem lock
Or since you're rooted, try BootUnlocker and lock/unlock the bootloader whenever you want...

But if I lock the bootloader wont I not be able to flash things without unlocking it again? I flash things way to often, I figured there'd be a way to just simply hide it. I've accomplished this on other phones.

You can still flash from recovery with a locked bootloader, just not from the bootloader itself (fastboot). And you can just unlock it using BootUnlocker anytime you want to flash with fastboot... it's that easy.
I don't know if you can just hide the icon without locking... most of us here don't care about the icon... it's just part of what makes a Nexus a Nexus. I personally enjoy seeing it when my devices boot up - it reminds me that I bought a device that supports unlocking and flashing out of the box without hacks.

Hi. I've just found a material theme for the nexus 5 bootloader and i've asked the developer if he can remove the lock icon under the google logo and he did it. You can find the flashable zip on the fourth page of this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/goog...t3118100/page4
Cheers!

How to tell if bootloader is unlocked?

bought a used xt925.
How do I check if my bootloader is unlocked? Is there any way to unlock this device without going through Motorola?

You can check in the AP Fastboot screen. It will say unlocked if the BL is unlocked. You can try the UL exploit, as this is a 925, but I'm not sure it would work. Why not go through Moto?

The most obvious way to know if it's unlocked is whether the phone shows a "Bootloader Unlocked" warning on boot. If that's not shown, @RikRong told the way -- AP Fastboot.

Bootloader unlocked warning

Hi!
I unlocked my bootloader today and everytime I boot my phone, I get a warning saying "Warning, your device is unlocked and cannot be trusted. Booting in 5 seconds". I've unlocked devices before and never had this warning. Is there any way to get rid of it?
Thanks
I'm very upset, too

you should modify your bootloader to remove it but it is a risky way to remove warning message
so if you need to hide it the safe way is relocking

Phone Root Status [F8332][7.1.1]

Hello
I recently unlocked the bootloader and rooted my F8332 xperia. Everything is/was going fine. But today when I checked the status of my bootloader in the service info menu. It said "Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes" rather then "Bootloader unlocked :Yes" like it should. It's odd because i still have TWRP and AndroPlus. Also my phone still provides the "This device is unlocked" warning screen when i boot my phone.
Is this something I should be concerned with, or should i continue using my phone assuming it's unlocked?
Thank you

Is there any way to disable or speedup the unlocked bootloader warning?

Just unlocked the bootoader for my phone and was wondering if there are any options to deal with the bootloader warning which slows down the startup
I was wondering the same.
