Gear Sport Error After Tizen 4.0.0.4 - Samsung Gear Sport

Hey gize,
I have just updated my Gear Sport for Tizen 4.0.0.4 and the thing is, the bezel started to work incorrectly, sensors are now dead and im getting huge battery drainage at night. I have just discovered Samsung warranty is not international so Samsung just said and i quote: "There is nothing we can do for you".
Is there any way i can downgrade the Firmware? And how do i do that if possible? Is there any risk?

Does region matter? I mean, I did change my csc from xse to xar to get this update. But, I think I will keep this csc so in future I will get most recent update quickly.
Or do I need to change back to my origin csc?

I have software reset it, hard rese it, about 4 times, still did not work. My gear was bought in the usa, i live in Brazil and warranty apparently wont work here, so im stuck

Samsung Gear SM-RF760 and Samsung Gear Pay - Issues

So, due to no Gear S3 being available in Australia for some time, I ordered the SM-RF760 Model from www.eglobaldigital.com.au
I have the s7 Edge Aussie Variant. Just found out that Samsung Pay is no available on the SM-RF760 and been advised by Samsung that it will only become available and has to be activated in the country i bought the watch from!!! Can you believe it? Maybe one day I can side load a version, of if someone can help, please please do

Sorry but you can't side load it. The only way to get it on the watch is to load the csc file from Australia. I am in the same boat in Canada. Have it in Gear Manager but it won't go on the watch until Canada updates the CSC file.

How stupid is that!! I don't event have it in my gear manager. So annoying that we pay our money in good faith and this is what happens!!

I only have it in Gear Manager because I use a US phone with US firmware in Canada. Should have bought the watch in US too!

Mine in Canada is OXA, can someone from US tell me what version you have? I believe this is what prevents us from installing SP on our watches.

Man buy R760 from USA, now version APK7.
Pnone not Samsung. Adding russian card without problem.
SP working via NFC and MST.
Sorry for my bad english.
APK7 is the firmware version but I need to know what CSC version the Americans have. Using the procedure above, you can check and see what version you have. It won't hurt your watch to just check the version number.

My guess is my model number is the American version SM-R760
CSC: R760OXA1APK6 SM-R760

I think, need another activation SP.
May be enabling in special menu, before buy.
May be first pairing and activation in country non USA.
May be first pairing and activation with non USA Samsung phone firmware.
I dont know....
gah samsung pay not available on my HK version of the watch. Gah is there any update on this (flashing firmware etc) to get samsung pay to work in my home country (australia)?

It's the watch, nothing you do on your phone will bypass it. I'm in Canada, didn't even have the SP option in my gear app and then I sold my Canadian one and got a USA one and it installed itself on my Canadian S7 Edge (unrooted/unmodded). SP works even though we don't officially have SP in Canada (only pre-release for one bank)

S3 Frontier (SM-R765v) new user. Few questions...

Hello everyone, hope you are all well during this pandemic.
New to this part of xda as i just got a s3 frontier in the mail today. Good price from China
Only thing is, i am in the UK and it is a r765v model. After a little bit of digging around here i believe this is a US Verizon model. Tried changing the CSC and only have VZW as an option.
Is there any way to "debrand" this so to speak with any stock firmware/combination firmware via netodin to have more available CSC's? Ideally i'd like to change it to XAR or BTU or am i stuck with this "verizon" model?
Current software on it is R765VVRU1CSD6

IMHO no XAR nor BTU for these LTE devices...
I can not remember LTE Gear S3 for UK...

Need some assistance please with watch regions

Hi, I had a Gear S3 Classic from the UK which broke whilst charging, I bought a replacement mainboard and installed it successfully (phew!) but after turning it on it's a South Korean model (SM-R775S).
It's all in English now but it has different apps that are installed and I'd like it how my original watch was, is there a way to do this via the options or a firmware change?

Hi, yes it was a SM-770 that I bought in the UK, it fried when I used a different wireless charger on it
The replacement I received from eBay is a SM-R775S, I don't know if it's LTE or not, so by jackpot do you mean I have been lucky by getting this mainboard?
I've actually got used to it now, I've managed to delete a couple of the apps that are in Korean and it's all working pretty much how the old one was, I'm a bit OCD when it comes to things like that but so far I'm ok

yeah it works, but isnt normal.. Samsung.. when i had right-my original region, i had last firmware from june 2021 and Samsung support says only send a complaint to seller. it is not us problem.. EVA8 is the last fw. which is your original region?

I spoke to Samsung yesterday and they said the delay is with the service provider. I'm with O2 (mobile plan on the watch) so it's waiting for O2 to release the update. I don't really use the watch plan, so I'm wondering if I delete my plan whether that will cause me to get the update, as there's no plan on the watch. Does anyone know?
I've never activated a plan on my Watch 4 Classic LTE and still not getting any of the recent updates.

it is standard bull**** from Samsung support. no, isnt true. Samsung support did tell me some more bull**** for long conversation with my reported didnt recieved firmware from start selling watch a that I have a watch to complain about. reality is problem with "setup some country and their servers for pushing updates".
reset the watch and change region. tralala and you will recieve last fw..

Help with Gear S3 Frontief

Hi there,
I have a Gear S3 Frontier (SM-R7600). it is Vietnamese msde and i use it in pakistan as Spay is not availible in pakistan thats why im unable to use it. I have the latest tizen 4 and want to change its region. Since most of the articles here are old thats why im getting doubts that i will end up bricking my watch. Kindly someone send me a breif detail or a video on how to change its region on the latest tizen. Thanks
