My Opo disconnected itsself yesterday from its OS while charging, leaving me with the massage "no Os installed" on TWRP.
I tried to reinstall the Os Los16, but not success, it cant "mount the storage". I tried to whipe, but it shows: Failed to mount '/ firmware, system, data, cache.
I can't whipe any data, i can't change any data system (ext4 to ext2 f.e.).
What i can do is install anouther trwp, but none of them succeded to recognize the internal storage. It has the information:
Mount Point: /data
Filesystem: ext/4
Present: No Removable: No
Size: 0MB Used: 0MB
Free: 0MB Backup Size. 0 MB
U think my internal Toshiba 64Gb chip died?
Thanks for any info.

I tried that, but same reaction.
Error 7, but also unable to wipe cache. That is strange.
All roms i tried worked before.

Help!!
I did a Format of the data partition using TWRP 2.8.5.0 on my Tf700. after 50 mins it failed. I now don't seem to have a data partition.
I tried using the terminal command mke2fs -T ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p8 but it just causes TWRP to restart.
The terminal window shows errors such as:
E:unable to mount '/data'
Tried a repair of the file system and I see that the ext4 file system 0MB size 0Mb used 0Mb free backup size 0MB and a repair fails with Unable to repair '/data/
Error repairing file system
Not sure what to do now???

What did it do when it failed? Did you pull /tmp/recovery.log?

Just tried again and left it to do it's thing and after about 1.5 hours it completed the format - looks like I was just impatient!
Hi, i have the next versions:
CyanogenMod: 13.0-20161004-NIGHTLY-osprey
Kernel: 3.10.49-MPI24.107-56-g09ff0d1
And when trying to install the 1009-NIGHTLY update i get an error without a log in the cianogenmod recovery. When I try to "Apply update" and then "Choose from emulated", it shows the next message:
"E:failed to mount /data (Invalid argument)
Installation aborted"
Then, i go to see the recovery logs, but it blanks and shows the main menu again.
Why do I want to update to the latest version, having 5 days of difference with the installed version?
Because I'm having repeatedly bugs with the Firefox browser, can't update Telegram, can't connect via Bluetooth to the most of the devices, can't update the binaries of SuperSU, and other minor errors.
Which could be the cause of some of this problems?
Sorry for my poor english, Saludos!
Download the latest nightly and before installing wipe the /system /dalvik cache and /cache partition, just be aware that you will need to reflash your gaps package.

Just did what you said, wiped /cache and /system partition, and when the phone reboots it stays in the Motorola logo. Seems that I can't load the installer using USB, because there is no ROM installed.
The good news are that I have access to emulated.
What am I doing wrong?

You wiped your entire internal storage? If not then there is an issue with your internal storage. I once had a similar issue to this, where my phone would keep wiping it's internal storage and crash a lot, the solution was to reflash the stock ROM. Sorry for the inconvenience that I caused to you
Just as a side question, did anyone got AICP nightlies .zip stuck at extracting image to /system? I tried clean install (wipe /system, /data, /cache and dalvik) but its just stuck there. Tried multiple nightlies. Tried deleting Android and .android_secure folders in both external and internal storage. I haven't tried wiping internal storage yet (I will do it ASAP). Any tips will be great. Thanks

I still don't know why cm installs a recovery that it is unstable and with less tools than TWRP. I believe that they should use at least the code of TWRP.
No problem Henriquefeira, everything has it's solution. Besize, your help was too much better than silence in this post. Now, I have to focus on try to enter to the internal storage and flash the update I have.
For that, I'm using fastboot in linux. But I don't know too much about using it. Next, I'll show you the messages that the terminal sent me:
Code:

You can't flash the zip of a ROM via fastboot, follow this tutorial >goo.gl/JfRzZu and on the next time avoid installing the CM bundled recovery
Solved.
I flashed vĂa fastboot a stable twrp, then after a lot of errors and strange things i was able to flash the ROM.
Thanks a lot for your help.
I was seeing a bricked phone already jajaja.
Hello!
Recently I recevied "Encryption Unseccesful" message on my phone. I tried to restore backup, but twrp says: "failed to mount /data". So, internal storage is dead. Found this. But cant find "repartition" menu in the cwm.
Questions is:
1. Do I need older versions of cwm to repartition sdcard? (If you have one, please share )
2. Is there any ways of recovering phone?
Thanks in advance!
no, just go to TWRP, Wipe, Format internal sdcard

tried this, but I think internal storage is corrupted. Is there a way to use sdcard as internal storage?
you can use sd card for apps and other stuff, but as I knoe cannot be used for system files
I made 2 partitions on sd:
4gb fat32
4gb ext4
But I cant bind /data to this ext4 partition. Can you help, please?
What i did:
With TWRP's terminal:
Code:
mount -t ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk1p2 /data
- Invalid argument (dunno why)
Code:
ln -s /dev/block/mmcblk1p2 /data
- but on phone boot i receive same "encryption unsuccesful" screen.
Edited /etc/fstab - same result.
Files and mount after reboot turn back to its previous condition.
Also installed stock ROM - same message screen.
[/QUOTE]
I got advice that i must do this things with init.d scripts. How can I do this? Already tried "xda's app2sd scripts" but they works if phone completely boots in OS.

Why not? I want only mount /data on sd without booting in OS. Other partitions like /system surprisingly work right, because i can flash ROM (stock, CM), but always receive - "cant mount /data"

try to flash stock rom with odin
Hi,
I was running Qmobile z8 lolipop stock rom on my Blulileone 2015. I did this using QFIL. Was working for a couple of months until one day my phone powered off even though it had a charge. When I yried turning it on it went into a loop. I accessed recovery and I get e: unable to mount cache/ invaid argument same for system and data. I tried restoring using QFIL to no avail. I booted into TWRP using fastboot boot twrp and realized my internal storage days 0mb data 0mb cache 0mb system 0mb. I currently have no os due to working in fastboot erasing to format the partitons. I tried advance setting in wipe and change the partitions to other formats but still getting those errors. Also repairing partiton does not work either. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Is there a way to fix 0mb Internal storage in twrp to flash from there magisk? My usb port doesn't work so everything I can do is from the device by itself.
I tried wipe, and data format repair file system ange change file system ext2 and back to ext4. It temporarily says the storage size and when rebooting into system then is again to 0mb. Anybody can help?

Try reinstalling TWRP, if that doesn't work maybe using a different recovery such as orangefox or shrp
Is it possible reinstalling recovery without usb cable and with existing problem?

yeah, if you get the "recovery.img", flash as an ".img; image", flash it to the recovery partition. try shrp first, dont use orangefox since it caused problems with me.
Could you send me a guide or a link to download img file and tell me how to flash it
The problem is that after installed rom, i have to install magisk ,su and etc. I cannot use "su" command. My problem is how to flash magisk
Edit: I have image file of shrp.Where to place it and how to flash it? The problem is that i cant find from recovery this file because of 0mb internal storage

Forgot to ask but, did you encrypt internal storage? There are a couple of forums documenting that encryption causes the TWRP 0mb problem.
Try this:
TWRP Internal Storage(0 MB)
I am trying to root my Samsung A7(2017). I have installed twrp to my phone but when I open it to install SuperSU it writes Internal Storage(0 MB) therefore I can not access to SuperSU. I am searching
android.stackexchange.com
Read more about it here:
