Hi all,
so after system update of OOS which ended up in a boot loop and losing the TWRP recovery (back to stock)
I was trying to get TWRP (back again) via fastboot I was able once to get TWRP loaded once and was even lucky to able to load the Nandroid backup "successfully".
but unfortunately, after restarting...nothing... always getting back to fastboot main screen with no success of booting normally or into recovery mode.
also, not able to re-flash the twrp.img to reach again for the backup.
is there another way to get back TWRP and load my backup file? by using fastboot commands?
I just had the same issue.
I managed to fix it using a fastboot image https://drive.google.com/open?id=1fqvjJ-lC7w2wtcxYwlbmZ4pRW60psODV
After the flash completed I booted into the OS then rebooted back to fastboot and from there I was able to use fastboot command to boot into TWRP
Had a similar issue after installing a rom a while back. Posted about it here https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/help/stuck-fastboot-trying-to-install-omnirom-t3849882
Google the mega unbrick guide on the OnePlus forums. Let me know if this helps at all. Or give the other link posted there a try as well.

Nice, we're from the same city.
anyhow, have you flashed this by doing "fastboot flash XYZ.zip" ? & afterwards flashed the TWRP again?

Np. I cant remember exactly but i think it wiped the phone. You won't be able to restore that backup unless you happen to have copied it externally from your phone before the brick.
Let us know if you manage to get it all fixed and going again. Know its frustrating having your phone bricked. Pretty much brought it back to its factory shipped state from what I remember.

Hello everyone,
I have the P20 Pro 9.0.0.283(C792E5R1P9) - Canadian version and during my attempt to install TWRP and Magisk I endup flashing the twrp.img on my boot partition and now I can't upgrade to 9.1.0.317(C792E8R1P9) or even hard reset, because when it boots the original boot partition is damage and not even via HiSuite I can't upgrade to the new one.
I need to know if someone has this build 9.0.0.283 (C792E5R1P9) that I can extract the boot.img and re-flash on my phone.
And the phone works normally, just the boot that is compromised.
Thank you
You will half to boot it into fastboot and fix it that way
what do you mean i have same issue as him ? do i need the stock boot.img to flash or can it be solved with another way ?

Hey guys,
I wanted to flash a custom ROM on my Mi 9 SE, for this I installed TWRP (3.3.1-3) and Booted into it normaly. After wiping the phone I mistakenly restarted it and now the phone instaltly goes into fastboot mode without a chance to enter TWRP. I tryed to reflash TWRP but it did not work. I can't use adb as the phone only enters fastboot mode. is there another way to enter recovery mode? I also found the software MiFlash from Xiaomi but I only get the error "can not found file flash_all.bat"
Edit: Got it to work now, this is what I did:
Download MiFlash (from here: c[DOT]mi[DOT]com/thread-1329226-1-1.html [can't use links as new user ¯\_(ツ)_/¯])
flash stock ROM (from here: xiaomistockrom[DOT]com/xiaomi-mi-9-se [same])
it did not work with the stock ROM found on Xiaomis Website but only with the one linked.

Did you try booting into recovery using hardware button combo? That might help, I guess.

OK cool!
Hi guys,
so after I got my xiaomi with a global ROM and wanted to update and that is when I accidentally relocked the bootloader. The version of ROM was invalid apparently and wouldn't let me boot and now I'm stuck in fastboot mode.
My problem is as follows:
-can't enter recovery, stuck at fastboot no matter how many times I try and reboot
-adb not working since I didn't enable it
-bootloader locked (miflash says so and it can't unlock it since I didn't check 'oem unlock enable' and I cannot boot ROM so I can't enable it)
-fastboot flashing says 'not allowed in lock state'
-edl mode not available
I've seen tutorials where people opened their phones to force the phone into edl mode via the testing points but is that the only way`?
Any suggestions on how I could unbrick it?
Much appreciated
yes, it is the only way.

you can use this tool to flash the phone on fastboot mode
Xiaomi King Tool - Home.
xiaomikingtool.com
its cost you only 5 credit
Can you flash files by fastboot? if so, flash the global rom images one by one, then reboot
I know this is a late reply, but I was in a similar situation with my phone and here is how I dealt with it: You need to access EDL mode, it doesn't require disassembling the device like the other user here suggested. Here is a thread you can find several variations of fixes here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/xiaomi-12-pro-completely-bricked-dead.4422997/
If anyone needs help with a locked bootloader bootlooped phone and doesn't know what to do I can help for a fee.

So even with a locked bootloader and disabled developer options, I can still flash stock rom in edl mode, regardless?

Have you tried to flash stock rom?
I mean, if you have Chinese rom before, just flash with latest Chinese rom.

Hello, My Poco X3 System destroyed itself while I was using it, it showed a glitch screen and turned off. Now I went to flash my mobile through Miflash but it showed the bootloader is locked and now I can't unlock it as the system itself is destroyed and can't do anything. So i wanted to know if i can flash my mobile with cmd as you said above flashing img files one by one or let me know if there is any method to flash my mobile or unlock the bootloader? Please me help bro
flashing is possible with modified firehose programmer (no auth factory loader) or with authorized xiaomi account. both solutions are paid service and cannot advertised here.
please -as always- read the thread you posted in. I can see useful information shared already. wait for other replies.

Hi, try to flash the .img files from the fastboot stock rom whit cdm in fastboot, one by one, some files will give error but skip that, then reboot the phone as normal, it should work.
example:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
etc.

If it were that simple, it would have been known for a long time.
You have already posted about this (post#14).

I had a Mi 9T and by mistake I installed a recovery that didn't correspond to it, the phone got bricked, and the only way to save it was like this, I searched and read everywhere but I couldn't find a solution, flashing the .img files was my idea, I didn't know if it would work but it did.

To install a recovery, the bootloader must be unlocked.
Hey all,
My OnePlus Nord is stuck in fastboot mode. I tried many different images to flash as recovery with `fastboot flash recovery image.img`; I tried the twrp recovery image by @mauronofrio and the ones on the official LineageOS webpage.
I've seen there some other threads to this problem, but none of the suggested ways seemed to work for me.
What can I do to completely reset the device and flash the original vendor image? Please give me detailed instructions to diagnose and fix the problem. Many thanks in advance!
