Is Redmi S2 software 32-bit ?

Hello
I was and I am tempted to buy Xiaomi Redmi S2 phone. It has nice specs and in Europe there are more good deals for this phone (from 5% even up to 40% off) than for any other Xiaomi device.
I was about to purchase it but in the last moment I read a comment stating that I should watch out for this device because it’s hardware is 64-bit but the software (OS) is 32-bit.
Can someone tell me is that true?
If YES shall the owner be worried? Does it make additional problems?

I am having a Redmi S2 and yet I have not faced any issues. But, all the specs are just enough for Fortnite mobile except it's 32-bit ROM. Fortnite mobile demands atleast 3GB Ram and a 32-bit is.
Except that everything's fine.?

GAMES have issues with 32-bit OS, right?

Some games use 64 bit app_process to process it game, but however after 10.0.5.0 the Mobile Legend problem seem to be fixed

Yes the device hardware is 64bit and the rom is 32bit and dont expect 64bit kernal for our device and xiaomi is not providing sell this device as soon as possible because we wont get support after aug 2019

Can You tell me/us more as for why there will NOT be support for this device after August of 2019?
BTW Redmi S2 is the same device as Redmi Y2. Why? Cause in different regions of the world the name that Xiaomi uses to sell that device is different. The specs stay the same.

Redmi S2/Y2 will have Android Pie update in Q2 2019 but i can not confirm for Android Q update also device will get at least 2 MIUI update (MIUI 11 and 12)
e.g Redmi Note 3 released with MIUI 7 but it got MIUI 8-9-10.2

Is it better to stay with MIUI9 or to upgrade to MIUI10 when I know that MIUI10 will not bring Android upgrade?
And.... MIUI10 has ads all over the place. How does it look like from experiance?

Yeah, some games like fortnite demands a 64 bit OS.

I hope so that this mont we will get 64bit Rom.

So how about Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 Pro (the successor of Redmi Note 5 Pro (whyred))?

Hey guys, I have this, and it's pretty good, should I return and just look for another option because the 32bit thing kinda worries me about the future of this phone.

I couldn't answer your question i am really sorry dude (I know it was one month ago)
I like Miui 10 performance but ads sometime makes boring.
And you can play pubg and other "some" games well. You can'y play 64 bit games like Fortnite because OS 32 bit you know and official MIUI 64 bit never come.

1) I will get a full refund if the return the phone.
2) I do play them occasionally

ATTENTION: WARNING: Xiaomi made it official that there will NEVER be a 64bit stock ROM for Redmi S2 and for Redmi Y2 (both are the same phones but different names in different regions of the world)

i have Redmi S2 its a good phone never faced any problems but from past couple of days fingerprint option missing and not showing, so how can i solve this issue please advice.

Backup / Restore

Hi guys,
Bit frustrated here, I've got a new Huawei P20 Pro but I'm having issues transferring Android over from my Pixel(1) XL -
The Huawei seems to have some kind of Phone Transfer app, but it hasn't seemed to work properly.
Is there not an app that does all this crap?
When I got the Pixel, it asked me if I had an old Android, I plugged both phones together and it sucked literally everything off the old phone, including desktop backgrounds, ringtones, the lot, including all my mp3 files and pics etc!
Why can't the P20 do this as well? It's Android isn't it?
I've even tried searching on my Google Drive for a Backup that is there when I look at if on the Pixel ("Pixel XL Backup") but not there when I look on the P20!
So I've looked about a bit on the net, and the Pixel is Android 9 P and the P20 is Android 8.1.0 O - which is probably why the P20 can't see the Backup?
Please can someone help me, do I really have to wait for the P20 to get it's Android P update? When will that be? ?
There MUST be an easier way to do this?
Any help massively appreciated..

It's probably a feature that Pixel XL supports but Huawei P20 Pro doesn't support. Not all devices support the same things, even if the devices have the exact same android version. Devices have different hardware and different kernels, the hardware and the kernel are what decide which hardware/software features are supported or not.

I expect some enhancements to the 7 camera, but not on a regular basis... I think the OP7P camera is about as good as it will ever get.

it is not a nice situation, why is Oneplus unable to synchronize with its old phones, whereas Oneplus is a company that stands out with its software support

I will make some drilling on my phone & put cameras like on OP 8 pro on my OP 7 pro, then it will work...

Someone managed to run Arcore on the MiNote10 and/or MiNote10 Pro?
On my CubotX19 i get it installed with Xposed, but every app crashes or doesn't really work.
I'm searching for a new awesome camera smartphone with a fair price and ArCore ist one of my decision Points.

So are you sure it's mi note 10 and not mi 10/mi 10 pro?

ARCore is on the Play Store for the Mi Note 10 (non pro) as well as the Pro. I'm not sure what you'd like to be tested.

I would recommend to avoid any phone based on ColorOS.
