Hello guys. How can I downgrade my phone back to oreo from pie. Will my phone be dead if i flash it normally using odin?I have downgraded some phones like A3 before and some resulted in dead boot. Please someone help me. I really want to downgrade my A7 2018 back to oreo.:fingers-crossed:

Don't work for my sm-a750gn.
Odin fails cm.bin
How to fix this issue..?
I've tried to downgrade my SM-A750GN via odin software, but fails cm.bin and parameter.bin.
AP and CSC only to flash, it's not work at all.
How about flashing the oreo firmware with TWRP, does any one have tried it? How?
I have an SM-A750FN/DS. First of all, i would like to know if the /DS is of any significance, as the getdroid tips only talks of SM-A750FN.
Second, the link to getdroidtips sends me to a link to SAmmobile for the Rollback Package, where it asks me to select my country to get the correct version,
which strangely happens to not include my country (Belgium , in Western Europe , Benelux area.)
It does include the two other neighbour countries of the Benelux area, Netherlands and Luxembourg.
I am unsure which one to download, and wanted to ask you guys , since i am a complete noob at this ,
and do not want to brick my phone .
I only need to downgrade to 8 to make it so my autorecord call apps still function,
well that and i am annoyed by the new update too .

In my opinion after the update from Android 9 to Android 10 the firmware has changed the binary so it is impossible to go back

does anyone try rooting latest AQG5 firmware ? i flashed twrp after updating to AQG5 but my phone frozen at galaxy s8+ screen, thankfully odin rescued my phone. currently i am at latest firmware and dont know the root is working or not. did i do something wrong ? or root in not available in latest firmware ? please help.
TWRP is not compatible with AQG5 due to lack of kernel source.. I am no way an expert on this. So not sure what this all means..
Creater @jesec is waiting for the kernel source so he can update TWRP with it.

i guess rooting is not available for the AQG5 yet. i think you need to wait to possible it for root. developers will update their roms with AQG5 soon and you wil able to use this update with root. just be patient

Hello i need to ask you guys something, i have the Samsung Galaxy j7 2016 (J710FN MODEL) and i read everything from news etc, (also sorry for my bad english) i am from Greece and i need to ask when the Nougat Update will come (the Official Android Nougat Update) i heared it alread out in Russia and India. i tried to installed them via ODIN and i get error,i cant flash them. Also now i have some problems to install some custom ROMS etc, so i stuck with Official 6 android on my phone. Any help?

Now i am in Stock ROM MM 6 (Europe Version ,i live in Greece) are you sure i can update via Odin this firmware? because i tried it when i had a custom ROM and i had some errors.
I Install the Indian MM you gave me , and when i try to update it says i have the latest version installed.
Do a factory reseet and check im on ota update nougat from it...in india

Yup flashed it to my cousin's mobile which was G550FY(non-pro) model. Did a factory reset and it works flawlessly. No issues at all everything works including Volte. Infact its much better than before!

Will someone reupload the file for a better download link? Sammobile takes way to long
Really, the SM-G550T1/2 really needs Nougat at this point since it is only limited to the India model... I really like the new UI elements. Sad.
Or if someone is really good enough to make a Android Oreo Go edition custom ROM (since it really helps on storage) or a Lineage OS custom ROM. I wish i can make one but I'm not good at making ROM's.:crying:
Edit: I was thinking of installing that same rom OP described. Will it work for my T1? Someone needs to test this before i can proceed. Problem is i don't know if it will brick my phone because it was made for Indian devices running that version.

I dont know also, but do i need to have my phone network "unlocked" to switch official samsung roms? I prefer sticking to T-Mobile...
Edit #2: Tried installing that firmware file, it wont let me because of a locked bootloader. I used Odin (latest) but all i get is a "SECURE CHECK FAIL: (BOOTLOADER)" error.
^tl;dr, it wont install on a US variant.

You can use sam frimware tool to download the ROM with no bandwidth cap issues. Search XDA for the tool

Yes it is but you have to make sure that you stay on BL3. You can't downgrade the BL. He used a thread with the latest Nougat Odin files.

Once back on Nougat, download BK package disabler and freeze both software updates (just use the search feature and type in updates) so that it don't auto update on you.

You have version 1, version 2 and version 3. If your on oreo then you are on version 3. Search which firmware version 3 runs on and you'll get your answer, or you can use the link i gave you to the last Nougat version 3 that was pushed out by AT&T. I think there were only 2 firmwares on Nougat that ran on version 3.

Yes it's super easy. Using Odin, you can use one of the threads below. BRA8 is a hair older (1 month). BRB2 will have the latest security patch

Is there a BRA9 Odin files or that’s just a patch . I wanted to root with SamFail V3 which is base on BRA9.

I've never seen a BRA9 for the AT&T Note 8, upgrade or Odin. We went from BRA8 to BRB2

Yes. Samfail V3 will work with either one of these firmwares.
Can I use the BL included in oreo for Note 8 to down grade to nougat? Now that I upgraded my tethering doesnt work and neither does wifi calling.

Can you explain me how to downgrade from flashed oreo btu to croatian tele2 nougat i tried it with odin and it fails but i dont know why.

I don't know what croation tele2 is, but what version Oreo are you on, there were a bunch of betas that where out floating around.

I have a J7 2016 (j710mn Exynos 7870) and when I update it to an android higher than 6.0.1 it stops working the touch screen. It does not matter if it's custom rom or stock rom I've already tried with Lineage 8.0, RR 8.0, etc. My question is: Has anyone had this problem and I can solve it?
The first time I stopped working was with an original system update.
I am in 6.0.1 and I can not update in any way.

I have the same problem but with j710f. Maybe we can try to find out the solution together. Was your touchdisplay replaced?
From which region are you which stock 6.0.do you use?
