They found solution?

Update:
I finally got around to Unlocking the bootloader, and rooting.
The Terminal Emulator method wasn't working for me.
I flashed the new TWRP
[PORT] Unofficial TWRP for G7 Power by Geofferey
and used the steps in this thread
[GUIDE] How to create 'mmcblk0.img' from a working device? by kalyansundhar
and used
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/external_sd/XT1955.5.mmcblk0.img bs=1000000000 count=30
The mmcblk0.img is almost 30gb, I'm compressing it, and uploading now may take awhile.
Old Post
I believe if someone with a rooted Moto G7 can pull a copy of the mmcblk0.img from their device with
Terminal Emulator
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm&hl=en
using these commands
Code:
su
GRANT Terminal emulator a Root Access
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/sdcard/Loader.img bs=1024 count=168960

That mmcblk0.img can be used to boot the non-working G7 into Fastboot mode, as described in the links below
and then you just need to reflash the firmware.

Did you change the block size to match your device?
Ask who ever pulled the image what block size they used and then substitute those figures in the command in the guide to write the image
Also make sure your sd card is large enough - I'd say at least 64gb for this device

It should load the bootloader off the sdcard (when you press the corresponding buttons to enter bootloader mode) where you can then reflash stock firmware
I've no idea what other damage to the motherboard flashing files from another device has caused
The persist partition maybe rebuilt on first boot - I'm not sure

FIXED: Lg g flex 2 H959 32GB Model , Partition damage:only 8GB available ?

Hi everyone,
I have LG H959 version of G Flex 2.
I recently used LG Flash tool 2014 to flash a stock H959 firmware version 5.1.1 of android since it wasn't available through OTA.
My problem is I accidentally downloaded H955 firmware from http://lg-phone-firmware.com/ and then I realised I didn't have network connectivity so I checked the version and saw the H955, then I when reverted back to original firmware of H95910D_00 and saw I only have 8GB available and under Misc menu of Storage information there is around 24GB of system data allocated which before was 8GB.
How can this happen. I flashed the firmwares with CSE and I have also extracted the kdz files and found there are partition table bin files available.
So I tried getting fastboot working but I had no luck. I boot into download mode and can't even root the phone following the guidance available on http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3049772
I can use the phone just fine, every functionality works but only 8GB storage available
EDIT: FIXED
Here's how I fixed my problem: Be Aware you will loose all your data on internal storage and this is a dangerous operation
1- First you need the LG Root files from http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3049772
2- Then if you are lucky you may not need to flash H95910C firmware and root your phone first, So go ahead and Boot the phone into download mode (Power off the device, hold the upper volume key and plug the phone usb into computer), open command prompt in your LG Root folder and
type: [ports.bat ] : Find the COM port where your phone is connected with line DIAG in it.
type: [Send Command //./COM(your port number)] : You now have a shell and can send commands to your device
type: [ cat /proc/partitions] and [ cat /proc/mounts ] and [ df ] : Now find which mmcblk0p* is your userdata at.
Mine(Lg-H959) is at mmcblk0p48 so then go ahead and type [ dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p48]
3- Now if this is working then it will appear as if the shell has stopped working and you can't send any more commands, give it a few minutes then do Ctrl + C to terminate the "Send Command" reboot your phone into recovery (Hold power + Volume Down until LG logo appears then release and press again only the power button until you are at factory reset prompt screen. Click on yes using volume and power keys and this should be it. You should have the right size available.
If Your phone didn't became solved then you have to Flash H95910C frimware and root the phone
4- So do all the step 1 & 2 & 3 but before sending the [ dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p48] do [ su ] first.
LG Flash tool and LG Root are attached here.
You can get the H95910C from here : https://mega.nz/#!EZ81hapC!y8b_hnyGIchnzyBK46cXuZlUxD8S5Gpg44ULck-pgSI
You're welcome.

That happened to me when I flashed H955 on H959, All I know so far is that "Cust" is actually a partition in the devices with some manufacturer stuff on it, so I guess it won't flash with a new one when you flash the firmware H959 to F510L. My best advice is to flash your own model firmwares.

This isn't working in a H955P, I did flash the original firmware and still saying 8.91 userdata. Any ideas how can this fix be compatible with H955P/16GB/2GB ?

If you follow the instructions, It would work for any model of G Flex 2. Be careful to first find which mmcblk your data partition is at using the instructions I have given then when you do the dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p48 change "48" with the number from your model.

Yes. It is a hardware problem. As far as I know there are two options, either changing the hardware nor mounting a apart of SD Card as Internal Memory. First one is useless as it is costly and results might not be conclusive. However, I think, the latter might be applicable. But I don't know how. I would appreciate any help regarding this. Thank you.
This has happened to me too, I need help!
Please help
I do faced the same problem, anyone come out a solution please, appreciate!!
FOR EVERYBODY WITH THIS PROBLEM, TRY THESE STEPS:
(if you can/have your bootloader unlocked & you can unstall U10 or L11 roms then download the U10 slimstock, or L11 deodexed rom)
- download G6 knife (pinned post in the facebook group)
- open G6 knife > download offical U10 rom (if you had android 4.3 before your problem then download 4.3, if you had 4.4 download 4.4kitkat)
- format your sd, place the downloaded firmware on your sd:
SD/dload/update.zip (or SD:/HwOUC/update.zip depends if you are on android 4.3 or 4.4)
- insert sd and try to boot up your phone (without cable attached)
- if nothing happens open G6 knife again and boot your phone into fastboot and attach it to pc
- use G6 knife program to boot into recovery ( or do it with adb) (or hold vol+ power)
- select install zip from sd, select the update,
you can download g6 knife here:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/huawei.g6.development/permalink/462401503919107/
you can do all of this without G6 Knife, but this tool makes it alot easier cause you don't have to look for files or commands

I had someone to install ROM before, but the problem did not resolve.
Do you think I can fix using this way? If yes, I would be thankful to tell me how. It is my first time. I am unfamiliar with the steps.
OK now, I installed the Knife; I plug my phone using USB cable; I run it, then I press 0 to verify the device. However, the program does not detect it.
Moreover, I have no access to my phone, and I cannot allow USB debugging through the phone.
I e-mailed HUAWEI they did not answer at all. It seems like no one can help God!

Just need somebody with a working sprint lg gflex 2
Follow these steps
Format your external MicroSD card with “exfat” system file, and the size of this SD card should be morethan 16 GB , which is the size of the whole partition.
Do a full factory reset, meaning wipe your cache, data, and internal storage using either CWM, TWRP, or PhillzTouch.
Insert the SD card to your phone and connect your mobile with ADB, type:
adb shell
su
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/storage/sdcard1/backup.img bs=512 count=30535646
The size of the “backup.img” is around 16 GB, However, if you compressed it, it would be around 2 GB.
Now, if you have the backup.img in your hand, you can do these steps:

What is a dead (hard bricked) device?
A dead or "hard" bricked device is a device that has been bricked beyond repair. Usually a corrupted boot partition failing to load the kernel or any type of recovery menu in order to restore. Motherboard swap is most commonly done in order to fix such device. Some devices such as our own have "leaked" service packages that can be used to restore a hard bricked device. Beware that this is not a 100% guarantee. It might or might not work.

Not sure what you mean? LMSA or ?
I am searching for the super.img file from the official motorola firmware for this motorola device so I can flash it to this block device:
Bash:
ls -Al /dev/block/by-name | grep "super"
Does this motorola device even have a super partition in Android 10 or newer?

Normally you would use fastboot like
Code:
fastboot flash super super.img_sparsechunk.0
fastboot flash super super.img_sparsechunk.1
fastboot flash super super.img_sparsechunk.2
fastboot flash super super.img_sparsechunk.3
fastboot flash super super.img_sparsechunk.4
And so on depending on how many chunks there are.
oh what a mess!
Where can I download these sparsechunks? I checked the download link above but couldn't find the sparsechunks.
And is there a way to merge all these sparsechunks into one single super image and flash it like this?
Bash:
fastboot flash super super.img

No, the device cannot handle the whole image at once, that's why it's split up.

Hey, I have a Moto G Stylus 2021 Edition. I haven't done rooting in quite a while. I click on this folder and I'm presented with several folders. I'm using an unlocked version of the Moto Stylus 2021. However, I see "MetorPCS", "Tracfone" etc. I initially tried downloaded MetroPCS thinking it was carrier specfic. I copied this zip onto the folder on my phone. I ran Magisk and tried to install by selecting that zip. It tries to unpack then gives me an error.
I'm assuming that I'm doing something wrong.

Thanks,
I download the Lenovo Smart assistant. It identifies my phone make/model. This is what I see within the Smart Rescue Area. I can go back to upgrade and it has my make model etc.

I think I figured out my problem. I had an old junkie version of the software. I'm downloading my ROM now. I will proceed with rooting shortly.
I was able to recover after a dynamic system update and a factory locked bootloader w/ no root using LSMA, Lenovo smart assistant didn't work, but the more updated LSMA from Motorola's support website worked.
