[Q] Problems with low budget tablet

Hi XDA,
Today I bought a tablet, the 10" Tablet PC by Qware, model QW TB-9010.
Hardware looks fine, but I'm having some issues:
First issue is that I can boot the tablet, but when I unlock it, all I see is a black screen with the notification bar at the top which works fine, but the rest is empty and black. When I press the Home button a couple of times, the wallpaper flashes up, I see the appdrawer button but then it crashes to the black screen again, so can't do anything on the device itself.
Next, the screen stopped working, I have to use a mouse to unlock it, I'm trying to fix this with new firmware but thats where we arrive at the biggest problem:
Not in the manual, the manufacturers website, or by just trying, I cannot find out how I get this device in recovery/update mode.
Support is VERY poor for this product, but I'm guessing firmware like Uberoid will work on this device, but can't install this because it doesn't boot in recovery mode or w/e.
So if anyone has any idea how they can help me or have any tips? Please let me know!

strange problem with my tablet

Hello guys!
I've a funny problem with my tablet that is a Mediacom Smartpad 722i based on AML8726-M3.
When it is doing nothing, sometimes when i wakeup it, it remains locked on a black screen and i've to wait that it's battery is discharged or i've to put the charge connector and it wakeup.
When it wakeup and is unlocked or at the next reboot, the system data is on 02/01/1970 O.O and for 1-2 minutes it was very slowly.
I noticed that when it is on black screen, on the side of the touchscreen where is the CPU, the screen is hot and from the speakers the tablet put out some noice.
For this, i think when it is locked on black screen, it is doing something and for this the side of CPU is hot.
I think it is a problem of the stock ROM, the stock ROM is a 4.0.4 ICS.
Other users of other tablets resolved this problem with Clocksync, but in this case it was useless.
What do you think? How i can solve this problem?
The stock rom on the tablet is the last update from Mediacom.

This happens sometimes with all devices it is either an app or the system freezing wile the cpu is under a heavy load. When you press your power button dose the screen come on with a black glow or stay completely off. I would suggest doing a factory reset and check for any updates, or even better custom rom. I would suggest you dont use any restore features after your reset as this could restore the cause of the problem. I would suggest going on your computer to the play store installing all the apps you want remotely. Its faster atleast for me to scroll threw the website and set all my favorite apps to install then trying to scroll threw the store on my phone wile its slow from downloading apps.
I dont have your device but I have had a few tabs. There may be a reset button some where or try holding all the buttons for 15 seconds to restart your tab when it is frozen like this.

[Completed] Black screen on samsung galaxy tab 4 problem

Ok so i have my sisters samsung galaxy tab4 ( sm-t230nu ) which she brought to me today.
Her screen went black, lights up and all but it stays black in color. Up down volume buttons work and u can hear them working, power button works, turns screen on and off, TOUCH SCREEN WORKS, on certain areas u can hear the noise it makes when u tap on the screen and apps. I pressed the power button alone for it to restart, it restarts but does not show samsung tab logo or anything at all just lit up black screen. I even went on YouTube to memorize the hard reset sequence of buttons u have to press in order to complete the reset and i did manage to hard reset. But screen is still booting up on a lit black screen. I removed the back cover, unplugged the battery and tried booting it up and still nothing. BTW its full factory, no root roms or anything of the sort. I need help on what could be the problem. Only thing i believe might have caused this was a recent update on the system. My sister sais a few days ago it gave her a notification about it and she clicked on yes. I dont know what version of android it had nor which it had updated to. Please help. Tablet is not that old. Moto G LTE completely bricked

Hello everyone ,
One month ago i broke my screen and ordered a new one, meanwhile i bricked my phone like hell, it means that i can't go in any recovery mode (with the volume and power buttons). I repaired my screen last week but i still can't have access to any menu. The screen is working (but i only have gray or green colored screen) and it seems that some functions too, like making a print screen (that's weird?!).
I'm posting here to know if someone can explain to me if it's still possible to reflash any roms in my phone via my pc (it stills appear on my pc when i connect it, but the phone seems completely empty when i access to it).

Help fast !!! i messed with simulate secondary screen Android one Karbonn sparkle V

Please help me asap
i was just messing and seeing the tweaks i could make on my android 6.0 device (karbonn sparkle V)
i stumbled upon (simulate secondary screen ) and i thought ill see what it is ....... i chose the 4k(secure) option and sudenly my whole screen had this translucent - black layer above my screen and i could not do anything on my phone since that layer was above all buttons and i very stupidly shut my phone screen and started it again only to see my phone locked since i had set a pattern lock.
so the case is i cant unlock my phone since that layer or secondary screen is literally covering my phone
and because i cant unlock my phone i cant get into any sort of recovery or anything
i have been searching for ways to fix this but everywhere i can only see the (stuck in loop ) tutorial which is not my case
please.. please help me i need it fast
the reason i came here as a last resort is because i've seen XDA as very helpful site

You can move the secondary screen just move the display by drag and drop move the upward screen down and you can see the Simulate secondary display option then choose the lower is a resolution and move it down and then again to the lower resolution then chose to none and you can remove the secondary display

I have the same problem on my LG Leon 4G and I can do nothing to fix it. Can you please help me?( I have some important projects and photo on it)

I had this problem I was able to move red square and set it back to none then restarted my phone and it was better again I have a S9Plus hope this help

Bruh someone please help me i had the same problem and I have password in it and I can't even get out or play games why the **** would they put this feature to phones that doesn't even make a lot of sense my phone is Huawei Android 6.0 marshmallow too and I don't want to cry everyday cuz I just missed my games maaan why whyyyyyy....... someone please please please!!!! go to safe mode,
you can googling how to turn safe mode based on your handphone type
and then back to developer option menu, on simulate secondary screen choose -->> none
and restart your phone
it works for me

Argh! Me too. Did you ever get it fixed? How did you do it?

I have the same problom to, i can’t even go to the control center!!!, I tried doing a force restart, but i did NOTHING, So i will wait for it to die so i can try to go in recovery mode, I want android to remove this feature right now! This feature is seriously dangerous! So now i can’t use my phone?! IS THIS FEATURE PERMANENT?!

Well, I'm answering your question from 2023 lol..
First of all you need to turn your phone into 'safe mode' - This safe mode is just like an emergency exit from rough situation.
There are two ways to turn on safe mode.
1. Press and hold the power button
- you'll see two options; to 'power off' or 'restart'
2. Press and hold 'power off' for some few seconds
3. The safe mode interface will pop out asking you whether to 'Reboot to safe Mode'
4. Click on 'Okay' or 'Yes' (But if your screen monitor is not allowing you to click the area, see option 2)
It will reboot to safe mode,.then you can operate your phone and deactivate any developer option setting you did...after deactivating turn off developer option if you want and then 'restart' your phone, it will come back to normal.
Option 2.
1. Turn off your phone by any way you can.
2. Now turn it on, immediately it starts the animation or 3 seconds after you switch it on,.
Press and hold the 'volume down button' until your phone vibrtes
This will take the phone to 'safe Mode' then you can undo all your settings, then restart your phone..
