Surface Book 2 OneNote Alternative - Microsoft Surface

Hi,
I want to use my Surface book 2 to take notes, I tried OneNote and it has a lot of useful features but there is one thing which anoys me, and that is that I can't print in vertical without having any problems.
Is there any solution for this? Or is there any alternatives for OneNote with the same features? Like math solutions or forms?

WYSIWYG HTML program for WM6?

Hello.
I am looking to see if there is any sort of WYSIWYG web design program for WM 6. I do a lot of very casual web design for my home pages and would like the ability to do some design on my PPC. I am not really keen on hand coding HTML (I can do it, but yech!).
Right now the best I can do it do up a minor page in Word Mobile and then convert to HTML on my desktop.
But surely someone must have designed a WYSIWYG html editor for the PPC?
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Devin
Any luck?

Any luck in finding any programs like this Devin?
or anyone got any suggestions?

Try the trial version of TextMaker 2008 for PPC. It's like full MS Word for Pocket PC, so I think you should be able to create capable web pages with it. The only downsides to it are that it takes up a lot of storage and it's kind of expensive for a PPC program.

Didn't find anything. The suggestion above is still only a text editor. Not a WYSIWYG editor.
I can use MS Word to edit web pages in HTML, but I don't want to do that.
So the answer is no, no one has come up with one yet.

Best Finger control rom

Hey guys, I am looking for the best Rom for when it comes to using just your finger and not stylus. I hate having to take out the stylus every time I need to do something on my phone. What are your thoughts on the best Rom for this? Or maybe it would just be a stripped down rom, and you have a better program for it? Let me hear your thoughts!

You might as well get out a knife and sharpen your finger. No matter how cool the Manila 2D interface is, (or its predecessor, HTC Home), they all break down once you launch a Windows application.
To quote Pushing Daisies: "The facts are these:"
Windows CE was originally written for d-pad operation
In most Windows CE apps, you can still use a d-pad and/or softkeys in lieu of touching the screen
Core Windows apps will probably never live down the use of a stylus. My recommendation is to buy a decent quality dual-operation pen/stylus. I nearly always need a pen for something at work. As long as I don't let anyone else use it (read: steal it), it's always handy.
Currently I am using S.V.I's Hornet Manila Beta 3.8.
I am using my Wizard for internet browsing, viewing my e-mail, working on Word, Excel & Powerpoint documents, playing some games & ofcourse for speaking & messaging.
I am doing all the above with my finger & the D-pad. I use the stylus only for some games.-

[Q] Taking notes with stylus vid?

Hi guys!
I really really want this pad. But im scared that it wont work for what i need it.
I need it to work well with stylus and to take some notes while being on phone. I dont want to use the hardware or software keyboard, just handwriting.
Best would be to write over a pdf file (orderform) that i can send by email when im done.
Would anyone who has the pad want to show how well this screen is in this matter?
Ive searched everywhere for a week without any luck
I would also like to see or have some feedback on the possibility of note taking or adding comments to documents with a stylus.
If anyone does this I wold love to know how well it works and which stylus is recommended.
sorry for the Bump?
check out ezpdf or repligo, you can annotate on any PDF and also use freehand to write, sorry but i dont do videos and if i tried, it will be crap.
did a quick google search and have seen this for ezpdf which I use.

Thanx! What a great software on that video.
The xoom looked decent when it comes to writing with the stylus. Would you say the Transformer is as good?

The transformers display is better than the Zoom as it uses an IPS panel and has much better viewing angles. The software itself is as demoed, one of the best tools for annotating documents and you should easily be able to fill in PDF forms with your handwriting.
If you are going to use handwritten notes then there are a few available, they are:
Handrite
Tab notes - still under development but trial available. Looks very promising.
Genial writing
With a combination of the above software and a good stylus such as a Boxwave one or one that I've ordered by Wacom called the bamboo stylus which I should be receiving on Monday, you will have the right set of tools to fulfill your requirements.

best software to annotate PDF's

Hi all
Wanting to know what is the best software around for annotating PDF's?
I need one for marking up PDF lecture notes at uni next year.
Thanks
Craig
ezPDF Reader is the best ;-)
Hey,
I use ezPDF Reader and it is perfect. You can annotate PDFs, but it is also a very fast PDF Reader. It is my favorited Software in the Thinkpad.

Sent from my ZTE-BLADE using XDA App

I also use ezPDF. It is not perfect (perfection is Xournal on my Thinkpad X61 Tablet) but it is as good as exists on the android platform.
I long to have linux running on my TPT so I can run Xournal on it. (having Quill annotate pdfs would be close to perfect, worth paying real money for).
Thanks everyone, seems a unanimous winner to the ezPDF.
have downloaded now and all seems great. One question though, how do you change the thickness of the pen to be a bit thinner?
Touch your drawing, ->properties...
Saves it for new drawings too.
At Windows " PDF Annotator " is the best!
The software is still on the slow side it you have large books. But haven't found anything better.
Just looking at your signature. I prefer rooted stock, too. And, I agree about TPT being the best. Root on...
I can also recommend ezPDF. It's not perfect, but it works for creating annotations, although for me, there are some issues with the palm recognition.
Anyway, I would still like to have something like PDF Annotator or Bluebeam PDF Revu which are really great tools on my X61 Tablet.

[Q] Offline note application with categories or tags for WM6.5?

I know it's weird for you to read someone ask this in the year 2014, but I'm actually using a HP iPAQ 216!
Anyway, I REALLY don't like it's note application. I used to use a Palm TX and I could organize everything in categories, then I could synchronize it with the Palm desktop software and I could find everything organized in the same categories and I could even edit them from my desktop computer.
Does anyone know of a similar application for Windows Mobile 6.5? Hopefully freeware, but it doesn't have to be, just as long as it does have those characteristics.
I installed Evernote for WM6.5 and it's really close to what I'm looking for, the major problem is that I can't read the notes without a WiFi connection. That's a BIG problem for me.
I REEEEEEEEEALLY hope someone can help me out .
