Just posting the Xiaomi MiA1's camera for our Redmi Note 4!

Not much of a difference is there in both these? So why go back?
You can always backup your camera application
But what about this is better than normal MIUI Camera?
Dose it work with lineage os?
Update: flashed on lineageOS. took a little time to boot but not issues. works fine.

Anyone else feel like this camera produces worse results on custom roms than the camera on stock miui? I did not do a direct comparison, because i would have to switch roms again. Opinions?

V7 is working fine on aospex 5, but need to rename land.xml to mido.xml
For me it is the best rom on Whyred i ever used(I used most of Miui/Linage/AOSP based rom) in terms of Performance and Smoothness . And it doesn't have image retention issue,some whyred user having that issue on other rom even stock rom, it has some minor bug.

I used Derp Kernel 3.4 with it,And it is on Android Oreo, it is amost stock android.
I don’t know who is the developer of this ROM and and it’s development forum(He also ported Oxyzen OS for Whyred).
I wish some other developer give it a try and made a rom based on it, or original developer develop it more in future.

For me miui cam not working properly,but gcam working perfectly.

1.In TWRP wipe everything except internal storage
2.flash rom
3.(optional-flash lazy flasher,derp kernel)
4.reboot phone

Gcam version: GCam-5.1.018-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.3b1
Enabled camera2 api with flashing Camera2 api enabler.zip via twrp.
Everything working.

Hi,i created based on Xiaomi.eu Stable V10.1.1.0.ODJCNFI Rom.
I've exchanged most Xiaomi stock apps for Google Apps,Messages,Calendar,Clock,Notes,Contacts Miui Launcher to Poco Phone Launcher.
The Rom is Rooted with Magisk und Busybox installed.
Poco Wallpapers integrated.

Thanks for the rom, can I suggest if you could implement a security app which for whatever reasons ( must probably rights) are not included in any mipad.
I did try to install some apps ported from miui 7 which seems to works on previous mipads but not in the mipad4.

This is not a Poco F1 porting Rom!This Rom has only Pocolauncher and changed the Original Xiaomi Apps to Google Apps.This Rom based on Xiaomi.Eu for Clover Mi Pad 4.

This is not on board but i see this activation in Original Poco Rom,i will test it later.

Many thanks appreciate. To be honest I am quite happy with the eu at the moment, but if you somehow manage to made the security app working will definetly change to yours and promote in a Spanish telegram group I created with tutorials in a bot.
As I said I did try with the security app from mi5 miui 10 with no luck and and admin I Xioami Com forum suggest to install this 4 apps from miui 7 from this link, but got FC everywhere

Thanks for the rom, it's pretty good. Unfortunately I have the same sensor problem. I use a smart cover (turns the tablet on when opened and off when closed) and none of these functions are working on my pad 4.
ok i found the issue,it´s not the Sensor but the Poco Launcher,with Pixel Launcher or Nova Launcher works
I switched over to Nova launcher, but the gyro sensor is still not working, none of the apps rotate. Other than that, the ROM is good.

I found some files in this rom have checksum errors.
I found the almost stable GCam 7 link for Mi A1 running android 10: https://bit.ly/33zayvp
tested on Mi A1 Android Q 10 Pixel Experience 4/10/2019. But, sometimes the app crashes.
UPDATE!!!
This is the stable Google Camera 7.2, work on Mi A1 running A10.

I heard mounting vendor before flashing makes it work.

I think it's Rom dependent, not Android version dependent. Because I'm using the original one on LineageOS 17.1 and it works perfectly fine.

I'm not criticizing your work, it's good that someone found a way to do this for MIUI, I just said the problem is not Android 10, it's MIUI and it's camera version.

Not working on latest MIUI11..0.3.0(QFCMIXM), using TWRP.
It's working on Mi 9 lite, Android 10 MIUI 12.1 (20,7.23). i needed to download Twrp flashable version, mount Vendro and flash it. After restart GCAM don't lag, and stock cam don't crash.
Installed with Magisk on MIUI 12.1 (Xiaomi.eu version) and it's working 100%, no crash on stock cam either.
