Maybe, that you are in need to have the Pie FW plus a suitable Recovery installed? My guess is, that you are on Oreo FW.
Does this ROM support f2fs?
This ROM does support f2fs by testing, but the serious problem is "mobile network" breaks down!
how can I check which firmware I am currently in?
I am unable to set access point name (www) for my Vodafone India connection. So I cannot use my mobile data. Is there any workaround?
Partha
Is this dead? The sourceforge link is no longer available.
Sorry for the late answer to you guys. I won't be fixing bugs and i won't be updating this ROM anymore. It was a short, fun ride, but the Lead "Dev" of the ROM is a pathetic liar. He is trying to get money through donations, while he is not working much. Most of the time he tried to push us other devs to fix stuff. After I noticed him lying about me, i pinned him down on it. He tried to lie his way out of the situation, but i called him out on it. At the end he admitted, that he lied; then he deleted all messages to cover up the traces of his shameful behaviour. I then left the development and deleted my build from sourceforge (that ROM build was buggy AF anyway). Maybe this ROM will get somewhere, maybe that Lead-"Dev" will better himself. But not with me. I recommend you guys to get yourself Derp-Fest, POSP, COSP or CrDroid etc.

FAQ's & General Tips
Can I flash custom kernel on this ROM?
* Yes, you are free to flash custom kernels on this ROM but don't report any bugs you may find
How format Data/Cache partitions to F2fs?
1. Make nandroid backup with TWRP (In case something goes wrong and you want to revert)
2. Backup all internal storage (sdcard) to USB pen drive
3. Put ROM/Firmware/Gapps on USB pen drive (It can be the same you used on step 2
4. Now reboot recovery and do a factory reset
5. Wipe all partitions (System, Cache, Data, Dalvik/Art)
Format Data ( Including internal storage)
1. Check the box for "data"
2. Tap "change or repair file system"
3. Tap "Change file system"
4. Tap "F2FS"
5. Swipe the button
Use the same method for "Cache"
You can now flash your ROM as usual but, since you wiped your internal storage, you have to use pen drive where is all needed files

Bootloop. Can't pass HTC Boot logo. Installed over a CM build that boots fine, so the ROM before yours ain't the issue.

Other user reported that to, maybe something is wrong.
Try with a clean flash.
Factory reset > Wipe all partitions (not internal) > flash ROM > Flash gapps
If it continues I will remove ROM and build again.
Also bootloping, tried twice, all factory reset and all wipes, onluywithout CM firmare,nothing.. Not know what is causing that..
I think I found the fix for bootloop. Is building right now. I hope can upload in 2/3h
New test build is uploading...
Should be available in aprox. 1h, please test and report

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or the LAOS team will if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LAOS supported, so no need to report errors/bugs to them!!

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 27.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot", then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash, and then reboot.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Oreo. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
3. Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
4. Flash the ROM Zipfile.
5. Reboot recovery
6. Flash GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work).
7. reboot/ profit
8. Flash the root solution of your choice after first boot (optional).
Currently Supported Root Solutions: Magisk Stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine
KERNELThe kernel in this ROM uses @karthick mostwanted kernel source. So Thank You to karthick and team hyper! You are greatly appreciated kind sir! I have linked kernel source farther down in the OP.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash using the built-in OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use the LAOS recovery and OTA app, but you will need to download the zip file and flash it manually from within your recovery. The Zipfile gets saved in the "aicp_ota" folder on your internal storage.
Please be sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery. Keep in mind that this could also be an unofficial version!

Hello @Ded_Boi,
Thank you for the build.
Rom is stable only faced lag while scrolling down the setting menu & pulling down the quick panel.
FC of settings is seen on initial launch of rom. After 2-3 reboot, Rom works like a charm.
Also no camera app is available. @Ded_Boi : Is this build is provided without Camera app?
Thanks Again.

I'm very impressed. Rom is stable, smooth and battery friendly.
I tried all other Pie roms too, but this is my favorite!

Did you flash the no_verity zip to stay decrypted? Or it doesn't required?

OK thank you! I am already decrypted, I just want to make it clear if the no_verity zip is required because in the installation area of the op. says that if you want to stay decrypted you have to flash the no_verity zip
I will flash as soon as I can the rom. I really like the liquid Remix rom!

Hey another day another rom, that's what you might be thinking. but we at stag (I'll try not to use big words, because the idea is to be simple) aim at something towards elegance. We are learners just like everyone out there, This is small something we have started which helps us learn every single day. Why Stag, you might question, my answer would be why not. After all Harry's patronus was a stag(pun intended). Anyway, so the aim here is to provide a really good experience to everyone who uses, everyone on telegram channel can contact us and request, everything will be considered, because if you as users feel something missing, it obviously must be missing. So looking forward for people using our StagOS and giving us all your precious feedback.
~Sic Parvis Magna~
PS: for people wondering what sic parvis magna is, it translates to great endings from small beginnings, Something i picked up while playing a game.

Lineage(For starting of the custom rom war)

Does fingerprint work as well as ExtendedUI?
I'm considering installing this one because the ExtendedUI drains the battery very quickly
Great ROM, been using it for 3 days now, no problems so far except sometimes DT2W doesn't respond.

The rom is super smooth and the battery life is excellent too (4h 44min and still 48 % left)
I will try the update later. At the Moment SourceForge is extremely slow
Edit : I used another mirror. The Camera fix works
seems 2 B nice ... i 'm gonna try this

Just a little error report on your clean flash instructions:

Flash ROM
(Optional) Flash Gapps (not included!)

I deleted Data, cache and system from my device via Orangefox recovery.
Then i restartet to boot in recovery again.
And thats the problem. It looks like my boot partition is now dead. Everytime if i try to boot it just get in fastboot mode.
Flashing recovery via fastboot or try to boot it doesnt work.
EDIT: There is a new thread now: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-9t/help/phone-stucks-fastboot-fastboot-devices-t4077795
No idea what happened.....
