I've been trying to flash the Au XZs with a more global friendly firmware but every time I try I get an error one that indicates something isn't matching. So my question is can I force the flashing of the firmware via the tool or is the SOV35 stuck with the AU rom? thanks

Try to download the original firmware for your phone using the Xperia Firmware Downloader:

Just select your phone model number and the brand, then click in the right side the firmware version.
Later use flashtools to pack the firmware:

(Go to step 3)
And flash the new ftf file with flashtool too.
Sometimes the best way is to download the firmwares manually from the forum and flash it, because some brands don't give the latest firmware to our phones (like mine). With this way, you will have the latest firmware, rooted and with dual recovery just flashing the zip file, but first you have to prepare your phone:
Use this guide to flash the latest rootable firmware, root that firmware and install the recovery:

then go to development section and download the latest firmware for your phone. Download a preroorted with recovery version to allow the manually updates later:

I am trying to find a Nougat ROM for my e6653.
I have tried making a FTF for flashing through Flashtool, this has not been successful (error - NULL when making the FTF from the downloaded SIN files).
I have found the AU region FTF files. If I flash these to my phone will it work. I am in the UK.
Alternatively does anyone understand why I may not have been able to make the FTF file for the UK with Xperifirm/Flashtool.

No, you can use whatever region in whatever country, only if you are usa you have to use usa firmware because of network support.

My dad recentely upgrade his XZ, but it didn't work and the phone is in bootloop. So I try ti use Xperia Companion to repair it but pass 10% there is a error message and it can't go further...
So my question is can i make a factory reset using a Stock firmware with Flashtool without loosing the TA partition ? (the phone is full stock so the bootloader is lock and my dad want to keep is waranty) (I try some researches but i didnt found any answers about flashing a stock rom with flashtool, all i found is how to flash a custom rom)

Flashing a FTF will do nothing to the TA partition. You are safe to proceed
hello, im wrongly flash file(kernel?), and now my phone shows as e6653 at flashtool..
phone condition:
1.can boot to twrp,flash,adb mode
2.wont load custom rom(stuck at rom logo)
had tried :
1. companion, missingphoneinfo error
2. flash stock so-01h, this bundle not for your phone, also error with e6653 firmware
3. extract kernel from so-01h firmware, but flash error
dtb not found
please,any solution guys?

Download So-01H FTF available on experifirm
Flash the FTF
TWRP and root will be gone but you will have a working phone wit stock MM
I tried this and worked. Nothing else worked for me. No custom roms or Nougat ftf from anywhere.
If you found any way to install custom roms please let me know too.

I got chinese version and i want to flash it to HK or TW,but after flashing firmware from xperia firm,i got soft brick telling me my device is corrupt.
i have to flash it back.
