I am trying to find a Nougat ROM for my e6653.
I have tried making a FTF for flashing through Flashtool, this has not been successful (error - NULL when making the FTF from the downloaded SIN files).
I have found the AU region FTF files. If I flash these to my phone will it work. I am in the UK.
Alternatively does anyone understand why I may not have been able to make the FTF file for the UK with Xperifirm/Flashtool.
Thanks for your time.
No, you can use whatever region in whatever country, only if you are usa you have to use usa firmware because of network support.

Hi guys,
I have the S6 with 5.0.2 and CSC ITV (AP:G920FXXU1AOCV, CP:G920FXXU1AOCW, CSC:G920FXXU1AOCN). Since I leave in Greece, I tried to flash through odin the Stock firmware with CSC EUR but I had fails all 4 times. Tried with both odin 3.0.9 and 3.10. The problem seems to be the hidden file in the end, because everything goes fine until that moment. The result is soft brick. Any one has any idea what should I do?
I've worked with this just yesterday. If you have another firmware downloaded and it worked.. Extract the file from the firmware, from which it worked. I did this with a France version, so an African firmware will work.
Use 7-zip or WinRAR to extract the hidden file and it might be necessary to convert it into a .md5 file. Since it is an .IMG file. Once its converted use Odin and install the hidden file and it'll boot back up.
Hopefully this was clear enough for you to understand.. Maybe my method was a little confusing. It works none the less.

Thank you for the reply. I've just flashed the original firmware with CSC ITV and everything worked fine. The thing is, is there a way to flash stock firmware with EUR CSC and bypass somehow the hidden file problem, of course without trip knox?
After flashing phone witch generic no branded firmwere 4.4.4 phone doesn't finds update. What do I need to do?
Try to download the original firmware for your phone using the Xperia Firmware Downloader:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...perifirm-xperia-firmware-downloader-t2834142/
Just select your phone model number and the brand, then click in the right side the firmware version.
Later use flashtools to pack the firmware:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/development/noobs-guide-create-stock-firmware-ftf-t2188129
(Go to step 3)
And flash the new ftf file with flashtool too.
Sometimes the best way is to download the firmwares manually from the forum and flash it, because some brands don't give the latest firmware to our phones (like mine). With this way, you will have the latest firmware, rooted and with dual recovery just flashing the zip file, but first you have to prepare your phone:
Use this guide to flash the latest rootable firmware, root that firmware and install the recovery:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/general/guide-rootrecovery-how-to-root-install-t3017056
then go to development section and download the latest firmware for your phone. Download a preroorted with recovery version to allow the manually updates later:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/development/
Even you can use some custom Roms like Existenz.
Greetings and sorry for my english.
Hi XDA,
I did a lot of research on how to change the CSC code on my brand new Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F).
I have a couple of questions before I flash the stock firmware from Sammobile.com.
Why I want to change the CSC code:
The phone is bought in Denmark, and comes with Customer Specific Customization (CSC) from Germany (code: DBT).
I prefer to use the Nordic Countries (NEE) CSC code, since I want those customizations, and optimized drivers for the nordic operators frequencies
First of all, I need to flash the pit file (from what I've heard) because I'm unsure whether the NEE firmware is multi-csc (if it is, it will just go back to DBT as the CSC code after flashing the firmware).
So the files needed so far would be the AP (for the firmware itself), CP (previously called Phone, for the modem drivers etc) and the CSC (software tweaks for nordic countries).
But I've heard that flashing a pit file will wipe all data, does that include the bootloader somehow? And would I have to flash that too? Or is it not necessary?
And I suppose the "original" CSC code is stored in the pit file since I need to flash that too?
Additionally, is the pit file included in the CSC file?
Bonus question: What's the difference between CSC and HOME_CSC?
Hope you can help clear these things up
Actually there is no need to flash any pit files. Just use following files: BL, CP, AP and HOME_CSC. !!!But before you flash you should activate secure startup and set a pin/password!!! After flashing you will be asked for the pin/password and you can deactivate secure startup if you don`t want to use it anymore.
I would like to flash the international firmware, but the ones I've tried have been failing in odin givin me errors, mainly the Pit error. I have also read that it's not possible to load the F firmware on the W8, but that it is possible to load the W8 firmware on the F.
Is it possible to load it and how would I do it? Thanks
Hello, i tried to create my own flashable ftf with Flashtool and Xperifirm today and failed 3 times in a row.
Does anyone have a link to a flashable ftf with the latest update and the least bloatware that you mind sharing?
You can find it linked from here https://xpericheck.com/device/F8331
Called "Customized NOBA". .58 not released yet for Nordics so it's .24.
I'm also interested in the latest "Customized NOBA" .58 FTF
According to Xperiacheck it was released a few days ago. However no link for FTF yet.
How can I get a FTF for this firmware? Can I make it myself?
Yes, use Flashtool to download and create FTF.
Latest firmware (41.3.A.2.58 NOBA region) is now available from https://xpericheck.com/device/F8331
