I can't connect it with any phone after factory defaults - Samsung Gear S2

Because a friend's samsung gear s2 does not connect to any mobile device after a factory reset and sends a message about "security settings" or something like that(Look the pictures bellow it is at Greek language but i believe maybe you can understand what is the issue/problem)
Can anyone tell me what is the solution of this problem/issue?
Thank you very much in advance for your time and your answers.

I see the word Account...
Maybe because Reactication Lock is on... you can not connect to foreign Samsung Account...
Best Regards

If don't want or i don't have another samsung account?
I can't connect it with the same account?
And why is this happened?

It is a protection "Reactivation lock". You must connect first the watch on your phone with the same Samsung account used when the watch was locked. After that you can disable the "reactivation lock" and connect the watch with any other Samsung account.

I try to connect it with the same account but it doesn't connected so....

Post your screen connect
Ex when you want connect a watch with Reactivation Lock

It is the phone side wich count. On my picture the watch is same than your watch picture, just say it is locked. After it is on phone side that all happen.
On your phone you must have my previous pictures, any language change nothing.

I believe this picture you post it it is same as my the first picture i posted.
I have try to connect it even with other mobile phone but even at other mobile phone the watch doesn't connect it.
So you tell me that the issue is from the mobile phone?
And if i don't have the 1st mobile phone i have connect to this watch what i can do?
Cause i have sell the first mobile phone(Samsung galaxy s8) and now i have the samsung galaxy s10.
Can i completely factory reset the watch so it is like i buy it now and i can connect it to any mobile phone?
I try the hard reset but even that it doesn't work.

No it is only related to the samsung account used by the Gear app on your (new) phone. Show your phone Gear App connect picture to see how is.... (is the first phone picture on my 2nd previous post and when you press the "Connex" button (at botom) it ask for credential for your samsung account (same account used to lock the watch).

I don't understand.
I can't simply reset the watch to factory defaults so i can connect it with any mobile as it was when i buy it???
I must do all that procedure????
Really isn't there that kind of procedure to reset it to factory defaults?

If the previously Samsung Account used for the watch was "[email protected]" (for example) and the watch was "Reactivation Locked" with this account, even after reset if you want connect the watch on a phone (even original phone) you must set on this phone your Samsung Account at "[email protected]". If you use for example another Samsung Account like "[email protected]" you can not connect the watch.
So you must first set the new phone on the Samsung account "[email protected]". After the watch connect to this phone, you can disable the "Reactivation Lock" and use another Samsung account.
It is an anti-theft system, so normal that a reset can not avoid an anti-theft system

Ok i try it.
A LOT OF THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP.
I hope the watch let me connect my new mobile phone with that and the first samsung account i connect it with this.

A LOT OF THANKS DERSIE YOUR SOLUTION IS WORKED.
A LOT OF THANKS FOR ONE MORE TIME.
Lock topic please.

Lose your Android device, either to theft or your own forgetfulness, is certainly not fun, that's what happened to my wife last month with my Nexus 7 3G. Google has finally released its response to the loss or theft of your Androphone with Android Device Manager.
It should hit your device soon, if not already, to help you locate or wipe (factory reset) your Android device lost. Here's how to use it.
INSTALL

Click to collapse
Android Device Manager will automatically hit your device without having to do a thing. If you don't have it yet, you will soon receive. But before you can take full advantage of ADM, you will need to do some things, such as allowing factory reset on your device. Its implementation is quite simple..
First, visit google.com/android/devicemanager.
and if you want you can download the apk => com.google.android.gms-1.apk - MD5 Sum: d1884b750aff2dc3ff435f95510420cb - Size: 7.30 MB (7649893 bytes)
From there, a map will pop up with some information about your device, along with a prompt to enable the Erase Device function of ADM. You can either manually open up the green Google Settings app, which should be in your app drawer, or use the send notification link on the ADM webpage, giving you an easy way to find exactly where you need to be to enable remote factory reset.
If you don’t use the notification, just open Google Settings, and select Android Device Manager.
The option to toggle both the ability to factory reset your phone from ADM, and locate it, will be in there.
Using ADM
Click to collapse
After you’ve done that, you’re ready to set to go. At the moment, there are three main functions of Android Device Manager. You can ring a lost phone, factory reset a lost phone or locate your device on a map using your phone's GPS. You can also rename what your device appears as in ADM.
Simply you can load ADM online and will show you the location of your device, but if you’re tracking it while it’s on the move, there’s a refresh button that will recalculate your device’s location.
If your device is located somewhere simply, like in your own house, you may want to use the Ring function. As Google explains, even if your phone is on silent, using the ring function in ADM will force your phone to ring at full volume for five minutes. To turn it off, you have to press the power button on your phone.
There’s nothing on your device indicating why it’s ringing, you’d have to know how to stop the ringing or play around to figure it out.
If you believe your device has been stolen, and you have some precious information on it, then the Erase Device function will come in handy. After you click Erase Device, a pop up will tell you what it will erase (essentially everything), and what will happen after that.
Unfortunately, Google says it “may not be able to wipe the content of the SD card in your device.” Best of luck if you have anything private on there.
If your device is off when you try to factory reset it, have no fear. The moment it’s turned on, it will be erased.
You may think erasing the content of your device is the best thing to do as soon as you find it’s missing, but you may want to hold on. After you erase your device, ADM will not work anymore.

For the moment, that’s all there is to it. As with all of Google’s products, we expect to see more features added in time and more practice

Yes, all seems work I haven't still tried because the apk wasn't release when my N7 has been stolen by the hands of my wife
It should have an option to force-open the gps setting in google settings for accurate device location in case the gps is turned off & lost.
Sent Via I9300, Stock XXUFME7, 4.2.2.
Tanks for helping
In My GS4, ADM is at:
Settings>More>Security>Device Administrators>ADM
You just have to tick it.
Another option is going to ADM webpage and "send a notification to device", it will open the dialogue box in GS4 to authorize remote Factory Reset via ADM.
Hope this helps some.
I had my phone beside me while watching curling the other day and had no clue what adm was. All the sudden my phone started ringing bus I wasn't getting a call so I thought nothing of it until my phone looked like it turned off and on. When it turned back on everything was gone. About 400 photos, all my apps, videos, everything was gone. How did this happen?

Factory reset through recovery menu, phone stuck.

Hi XDA,
Soo, my Mi MIX 3 seems to be stuck after i've factory reset it trough the recovery menu. The device still has the factory locked bootloader. I think the phone runs the EU version, its a model from Spain.
So after the factory reset was done it booted normally and I went trough the setup process as normal, however when wanting to copy apps & data from my Google account i was prompted for a confirmation of my password. Now I assume this is my Google account password from the Google account i used before the factory reset, now the kicker is that this password field only allows numbers. Screenshot included.

Soo, my Google password indeed is not a number and i can't seem to get my phone up and running again. I'm able to skip this step if I don't connect the phone to the internet but then at the end of the setup the phone compains and puts me back at the start of the setup like so:
Which doesn't help me.
I don't have a Xiaomi account coupled to this phone because I didn't want another account that i wouldn't use.
What I've tried:
- In the Wi-Fi setup screen i can enter a password, i tried entering my Google password in the Wi-Fi dialog and copy-pasting it in the Google password, only the numbers in my password remain so the text box itself is numbers only.
-I tried changing my Google password into numbers only, but Googles password requirements don't allow this.
-I tried to use the Chinese Mi Suite recovery function, but the application cant flash a new version for some reason. Complaining about adb.exe or something.
-Unlocking the bootloader, but i suppose you need a Xiaomi account connected to the phone for this.
-Googleing around for people with the same question, but can't find anyone with even a similar problem...
I'm kind of out of ideas and was hoping someone here could help me.
Many thanks in advance

Going into the google setting my MI MIX 3 doesn't have the remove button that my old device has.
I guess its already removed? I forgot to mention that I tried factory reseting through the find my android service aswell.
Soo, I've found a solution that is more stupid as the problem. First follow the steps outlined in this video up to about minute 5:20:
youtube (dot) com/watch?v=ZfhfZwP5OaU
Then you are in the settings, here you can change the lock screen password of the phone into a pin. This is the new pin you will use during the setup.
Go back all the way to the beginning and you can enter this new pin.
And your phone is back...
Thanks Xiaomi...

@Pleasehelpmeoif can't really tell from your description what is happening.
If you are still working in space industry you are likely privy to some high tech IP, so you should take the issue to your work IT, hopefully they have someone with real security knowledge! As you would be a target for state sponsored hackers from other countries.
Else, only other thing that is guaranteed to fix is re flashing the latest firmware for your EXACT phone model, same country (& probably carrier if in US), you can find this info in setting "about phone". Just doing a factory reset will not remove malware/altered settings if it has compromised, so re installing OS by flashing is required.
However as your girlfriend can see your location etc maybe she or person with access to your phone installed "free" tracking app! Which then also ossibly turned out to also be dodgy . But it seems someone has access to your Google/phone mfr account which is likely compromised so you need to check what other devices have access to your accounts, remove any you don't recognise and change your Google/phone mfg password and likely your account retrieval details eg email addresses, even your phone number (if they have spoofed your phone!). This might fix.
But if it's particularly good malware/compromise that has spread through your networks then you need to factory reset, routers etc & change passwords, (imagine all your accounts have been compromised) for other devices too possibly reinstall (not just factory reset) other devices too! And change all passwords too. All devices should be done at the same time too. Nightmare!
So i would say too, youre Hacked the Signs Spoken for that!!!
Do Following
1# look what you Need for Software/OS/Firmware 4 all your Devices!!! and Collect/Download this from a other PC and take it on an USB Storage!!!!!
2# FactoryReset all your Network using Devices or make a Full Delete and ReInstall it, to have every Device in Clean State!!!
3# Reset your Router too and Setup it Freshly
4# Connect at First one Device and Setup Proxy/Tor/Orbot/VPN on this so that ya Stay Save with it!!!
5# Optional (look if your Router can be Modified like OpenWRT, and install a Proxy/VPN/Tor Service to Protect your Network)
6# Now you do the same Step #4 with the other Devices that can handle Proxy/Tor/Orbot/VPN Software!!
7# Now you stay Safe on Internet, check with IP Tracker if it would work!!!
8# Now change all your Passwords to a Secure AlphaNumeric pw with !"§$%&/()=?`min 8 charakters long!!!
9# After do that, you can check it there any Updates availible for your Devices and make this at this Time!!!To Stay Acctualy and have Security on your Device on newest Standarts!!!
10# Use a VirusSoftware with Interactive Firewall solution, so you can Accept/Deny/Temporailly choose a Connection to Internet (Block Temporailly all unwanted/unknown Connections and Test what it has done, when ya check this you can Accept or Deny the Connection Permanent in the Rules with Simple GUI)!!! My Choice is ESET SmartSecurity Premium on PC, with FakeEmailGenerator you can make after 30Days of Testing a New 30Days Trial, and this Steps you can do Unlimited so you must not Pay for this Software!!!
11# When ya have a Status with your Existenz Follow these Steps and Connect every Time Proxy/Orbot/Tor/VPN on Internet!!
12# Thats what i have done to stay Safe!!!

Question Get calls on remote connection (wifi)

It is already known that you can successfully get calls when watch is connected via Wi-Fi if you own a Samsung phone, but has anyone managed to find out a way to get calls on a non Samsung phone from remote connection (wifi)? I don't even get notification for missed calls. But it would be really usefull for me to manage and make it work.
Thanks.

Still can't get it to work. I'm not receiving calls or make a call from my watch via Wi-Fi. My remote connection setting is enabled. I can't give permission to push service tho, it hasn't that permission on the list.
Appreciate the help!
I have the Watch4 Classic connected to a Samsung S22 Ultra. If I turn Bluetooth off, I cannot make a call via just a WiFi connection. The watch tells me to connect to my phone via Bluetooth and try again.
As far as I know it is not possible to make calls through wifi connection watch-phone. Bluetooth only.

Samsung a52s can make phone calls and receive calls via Wi-Fi. This is a friend of my who recently bought the watch.
It's disabled on LTE version. I have Gw4 lte version and can't make call using a wifi. But I'm getting text and other notifications when connected with a wifi.
GW4 Bluetooth can make call using a wifi.
Unless I did something wrong, I could not make a call via WiFi on my Bluetooth GW4.
I got NO this settings on my GW4 non LTE
Looked into my watch settings and found use remote connections. I did not set it up or try it, but it says it will work between my phone and watch. Do not know how valuable it would be to me since the phone and watch still have to be on the same network, using Bluetooth seems fine. I guess if I was outside with my watch and left my phone in the house I could still send and receive calls on the phone via WiFi if I no longer had a Bluetooth connection, but to tell you the truth, I usually have my phone with me and the range on the watch and the phone on Bluetooth is real good. Much better then my Galaxy Frontier.

Question Latest Update Failed on Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 46 mm

Hello everyone,
Like many of you I am having the same problem updating my watch, I have a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 46 mm and it is well connected in bluethooh to my Samsung Galaxy S 22 Ultra and also connected in Wifi to my Orange Box (Fiber).
As soon as I ask for the update, this one:
On my phone "copying the update to your watch.."
Except that it loads endlessly and nothing happens!!!
I see that there is the same problem on Galaxy Watch 4 but also Galaxy Watch 5.
Is there a solution please?
Thank you in advance for your assistance
I had this problem in the past with watch 4 and S22 u. I solved it by shutting down the Bluetooth before downloading the upgrade, thus letting the watch to download it directly via wifi. I think that per default it's trying via the phone and for same reasons it's not working. I reconnected to the phone before applying the update.
Hello,
Thank you for your answer @Marcelocohenarg , I tried to do what you described to me above in your comment and unfortunately it does not work. The watch absolutely wants the connection with the phone in bluetooth in order to do the update, when I disconnect the bluetooth, a message appears telling me that the bluetooth connection between the watch and the phone is mandatory. I contacted Samsung, they made me install the Samsung Members app to generate a bug report and within 15 days I should have an answer for this BUG, whether a new update will fix this problem or whether I need to send my watch to Samsung's after-sales service.
Do you have any other solutions or ideas?
Thanks in advance and have a nice day everyone.
Nicholas
Hello, the requirement to be connected to the phone is new to me, perhaps it's something that appeared with the new release. Assuming the wearable app has all the permissions, another silly question is if you tried to do this being connected with both phone and watch to a different wifi network, and of you tried via 4G / 5G, that is, shutting down the wifi both in the phone and in the watch.
I faced the same issue, and I've read somewhere, a suggestion to clear all data from the galaxy apps on the phone.
I didn't worked for me (even did a reset on the watch), but you can try that one.
For me, the solution was to do a reset on the watch, use a 2nd phone to config the watch as new (no restore), than I was able to update. After that, reset again, repair with old phone and restore backup.
I had the same problem, the update did not work through phone, only through wifi on the watch itself (bluetooth disabled, not connected to phone)
Hello everyone, @Marcelocohenarg , @spysky , @smashda ,
again a big thank you for your messages and your help in solving my software update problem.
I checked the Galaxy Wearable app on my phone and there are all necessary permissions.
I'm at my work right now and I can't test all the solutions you offer me to solve my problem. What I know is that the watch absolutely wants to go through a phone to do this update. I don't have any other Android phones around, most people I know have Apple phones (Sheep lol). So I thought of one thing, I have a Samsung Galaxy TAB A tablet from 2015, do you think it is possible that I install Galaxy Wearable on it and reset my Galaxy Watch 4 with my tablet in order to pretend it's the same as a second android phone that I don't have on hand???
Thanks in advance for your help and feedback.
Hi, I have a Galaxy Tab S2, that I think is also very old, and I just installed the Galaxy wearable app, so what you propose probably can be done. I don't know if the watch itself can be connected to two different devices at the same time, so you may need to disconnect it from the phone. Just out of curiosity, because there are a lot of people including me that didn't have this problem, could it be that you have another app that could be interfering with this? Tell us if you succeed.
Goodnight all, @Marcelocohenarg , @spysky , @smashda ,
I tested a reset of my watch and the installation of Galaxy Wearable on my tablet, unfortunately the association cannot be made between a watch and the tablet for the Wearable application, here is the message delivered by the tablet: " It is not possible to associate a watch or a bracelet with a tablet for the Galaxy Wearable application".
Suddenly, I'm really annoyed because I don't have many people around me who use an Android phone. I do not know what to do anymore. If you have other ideas, I'm all ears.
In the meantime, thank you
Hello, Hello everyone, @Marcelocohenarg , @spysky , @smashda ,
Solution found, I asked a friend to lend me his Samsung Galaxy Note 9 smartphone running Android 10, I factory reset my Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 46mm completely, I installed the Galaxy Wearable app on the Samsung Note 9 and I followed the steps to associate the phone and the watch, then I launched the search for update, the download of this one went correctly and crucial moment the copy of update s is done correctly and the installation too. After that, I reset my watch again and paired it with my Galaxy S22 Ultra for good and everything works!!!
Unfortunately I still do not explain why the last update of my Galaxy Watch 4 (GVK7) did not want to be done via my personal phone and my watch. It may be a software version problem or other but in any case no hardware defect of the watch.
I hope that my feedback can help you if in the days to come you encounter the same problem.
Thank you again for your messages and your help ;-)

Hello everyone,
here is Samsung's solution in a photo following the error report I sent them, unfortunately I couldn't test if it worked because I reset my watch with a friend's Galaxy Note 9 and I updates from his phone.
I wish you a good Sunday.
Yesterday i have the same problem and it was simple to recover that....
Just turn off your phone, connect your watch to a wi fi network, go to settings on your watch and apply for updates.
Hi
I have always had this problem. Pixel 4a GW4 Classic.
I tried also multiple times. No luck. But then I remembered.... Watch and phone connected to same WiFi. Start the update from the watch. If it's starts downloading, turn off Bluetooth in watch. Hope it helps, next time.
