Actions must be taken immediately after installation and boot into the system.- In adb you need to run this command. (
Code:
adb shell sm set-isolated-storage off
)
- Install GMS ---> GMS
If you do not install the GMS, calls will not work.

What does this do?

Great to see that people are working hard and creating efficient, smooth ROMS for the device which officially didn't even got 1 Android version upgrade. Thanks dev?. But only one thing I faced when I used this ROM for a day is Memory usage of minimum 2.1GB even after flashing zram.zip. Smartphone restarted automatically due to heavy ram usage.

can you root?

U mean by install terminal emulator and then typing the command

I tried it,it is smooth ,there was some problem with network and option to turn off a particular sim is not avaiable (no problemo 'cause I know it is a test build most of the device out there doesnt even had this build)
There were 2 problems that I noticed other than the bugs
1)In built file explorer wont work properly and if you have to install any third party apk you need to manually install apk via adb
2)Idle battery drain is a little too much(47% to 15% in 6 hours maybe because of dual standby )
Anyway thanks to the developer for keeping land alive till Q ? ,long live land ✌

I personally didn't experience drain, it was like 3% in 7 hours or so. So yeah maybe dual standby is to blame.
Anyway, I can't thank Weritos enough for getting this ROM out here on the 'Land' land
The ROM is basically perfect. No bugs encountered so far ( 3 days of usage as of now ), except that the Hotspot wont get detected by other devices.
Amazing performance and battery.
Here are my steps to set this ROM up :-
1. Since I was on TWRP, I backed up my existing Pie ROM and flashed Orange FOX recovery
2. Flashed this Q zip provided. Make sure at this point you have your ADB in the terminal ( of the Computer )ready, with the 'gms' apk you need to download. Connect USB.
3. After flashing is done, reboot and use the "adb shell sm set-isolated-storage off"
4. The phone will automatically reboot upon command completion. When it is done rebooting, unlock the phone and use this command - " adb install 'com.google.*whatever gms you downloaded*' ". This install the GMS framework, without needing the file manager.
5. You might want to use FX File explorer, or whichever one you prefer. Now proceed to use the phone as you please.
6. For getting the text based clock, which is THE COOLEST and I seriously recommend using, use the command :-
" adb shell settings put secure lock_screen_custom_clock_face "com.android.keyguard.clock.TypeClockController" "
For getting a system-wide dark mode, use :- " adb shell settings put secure ui_night_mode 2
Thank you so much, dev, for this amazing ROM.
Cheers!

The firmware is really excellent, autonomy, mapping and scaling is at a height, but for me one problem, the side explorer does not have access to the memory and the SD card, only the root, the manager works fine.

First time Install Instructions
0) Preparation
0.1) Backup your important data to PC
0.2) Ensure you are running Wiko Fever Android 6 already (also/especially when your device is not wiko fever, but a clone). If you are not, please update to it, before continuing here (replace the preloader from the wiko rom with your stock one, then use 'firmware upgrade' mode in sp flashtool. NEVER use 'format all + download')
Extra steps, if you are on blu life one x:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76003104&postcount=81
0.3) Download “twrp_wiko_fever_oreo.img“: [url]http://www.mediafire.com/file/e96x8ltlyka392e/twrp_wiko_fever_oreo.img[/URL]
0.4) Download “madOS_8.1.0_fever_2018xxyy.zip“ [url]https://www.facebook.com/MediatekAndroidDevelopers/[/URL]
0.5) Optional, Download “Google Apps (aka Gapps)“: [url]http://opengapps.org/[/URL]. Choose: “ARM64“, “Android 8.1“, “nano“ or “pico“ package
1) Unlock bootloader (if not done already):
1.1) Boot for first time your device. I recommend to NOT register/login/add Wifi/add accounts/etc., because the unlock process DELETES all your data in the device. So to go more fast, skip all, and go directly to SETTINGS. In section ABOUT DEVICE, enable the developer options with eight time picks over “Build number”. Then in SETTINGS/DEVELOPER OPTIONS, enable the option “OEM unlocking” and “USB debugging” (if not enabled already), and choose to alollow usb debugging in the popping up window.
1.2) Boot the device in the BOOTLOADER mode (using ADB: "adb reboot-bootloader"). Execute in your computer the command “fastboot oem unlock”, say YES with “vol+” and “power” buttons. Then select reboot. This ERASES completely your device (factory restore), but the bootloader will be UNLOCKED! Two reboots needed.
2) Flash the recovery and boot to it. (choose option a) if you don't have another TWRP already installed, else choose b))
2.1a) Boot in the BOOTLOADER mode (using ADB: "adb reboot-bootloader").
Then execute command “fastboot flash boot twrp_wiko_fever_oreo.img”;
and then “fastboot reboot” (this is a trick to directly bring you to the newly flashed recovery. You can't boot up your current/stock rom at this point anymore).
2.1b) Boot to your current TWRP. Choose install --> image, and select “twrp_wiko_fever_oreo.img“. Then choose “recovery“ as the target. After few seconds, and succesful installation, hit “back“ several times, then go to “reboot --> recovery“
3) Install
3.0) Optional, but recommended: Go to "Wipe --> Advanced Wipe", click "Cache" and then "Repair or Change File system". Then select "Change File system" and choose "F2FS". Swipe to confirm.
Hit "back" three times (you can again choose a partition to change now). Choose "Data" and do as above.
Hit "back" several times, to get back to the main menu. Choose "Reboot --> Recovery".
3.1) While already in recovery (TWRP), connect your phone to pc, and copy “madOS_8.1.0_fever_2018xxyy.zip“ and the Google Apps to your phone.
3.2) Go to "Wipe", and directly slide the slider to the right.
3.3) Get back to main menu with the "back" button
3.4) Go to "Install" and hit “madOS_8.1.0_fever_2018xxyy.zip“, then uncheck all boxes and hit "Add more zips", now choose the Google Apps.
Confirm installation by swiping the slider to the right.
3.5) Reboot System

Great
This .zip is pushing to system/etc, so this .zip won't work here on Oreo, where everything is moved to vendor/etc
For the time being for the blu, you can either updated the updater-script to push to "vendor" instead of "system" or root it, and move your baseband manually to vendor/etc
About the alsps ( brightness ) what's the sensor used in blu?
We need to enabled it I suppose
Cheers

just because adaptive brightness is not working , does not mean it is the sensor.
If sensor was not working , there is another test (check) you can do.
make a call, then put phone to head and see if screen goes off.
I had before when light sensor was not set correctly, when making a call the screen went black as soon as start a call, then could not get screen back on till 30 seconds after other end hung up the call.
I am away from my LOX now and for few days , so cant give direct test of light sensor.
attached just in case is usefull here are sensor libs from BLU-LOX. They are in /system/lib/hw and /system/lib64/hw.
I believe on oreo they go into /vendor/
Can we flash it over stock Lollipop ROM of Micromax Canvas 5 ??
I have a question that Can I flash it over the stock Lollipop ROM ?? existing kernel is 3.10.65.
Thanks

Hello, I write from Padova, Italy,
I have the WIKO FEVER 3GB,I have the problem that after upgrading to MM (Android 6.0), device not connects to PC and no charge. The device is recognized ONLY if it turns off.
Can I do this update procedure with this problem?
I can not connect to the PC because device is not recognized. Can you help me? Can I root through an app installed by the playstore without using pc? Thank you so much for the answers.

Why root? To update to oreo, you don't need root... But you still need to copy the new rom to your phone, as well as unlock the bootloader and install the twrp recovery. This needs to be done in fastboot mode by pc. I'd suggest to just try it
Unfortunately I am not very experienced, but I am very interested in solving my problem. I want to install this ROM, but without having to connect the device to the PC.
If I copy the ROM on the SD card. Can I then install?
I am in process of installing new oreo twrp and MADOS.
During install of TWRP, I loose adb authorization. (adb session is "unathorized")
in "prop.default" it has
Code:
ro.secure=1
security.perf_harden=1
ro.adb.secure=1
ro.allow.mock.location=0
ro.debuggable=0
is this intentional?
additional question,
Adb authorize connection window comes up multiple times even after putting check mark on remember this choice.
I think the adb auth problem is my pc, my other phone just started to do this too.
edit:
I have tried couple times to use blu firmware inside vendor folder. But not able to get baseband to be known.
tried just adding blu files ontop of original rom files.
tried removing rom files and adding blu files
tried removing whole folder then adding blu folder
each time I get unknown baseband.
I checked permission and ownership each way I tried and I set it to rw:r:r and root:shell just like original rom version, but not working for me.
One and more questions,....
1. Our bootloader is blocked or already unlocked?
2. If is locked, to unlock the bootloader of our device wiko fever which app I have to install?
3 if isn't locked, how I install a custom recovery like twrp manager?
4 how I boot the custom recovery twrp manager? Maybe if I switch off the device and reboot it, starts automatically the custom recovery?
5 at the end, from twrp can I flash the ROM Oreo?
AHH , last question, can I flash this ROM from my phone with Android MM?

in "prop.default" it has
is this intentional?
additional question,
Adb authorize connection window comes up multiple times even after putting check mark on remember this choice.

Warning!!!
BackUp EFS partition before installing. .If you lose IMEI , use this backup to retrieve it in future.
Installation
Boot the newest TWRP .img
Flash copy-partitions-AB.zip from second post. (This will prevent device from getting bricked if you are coming from stock rom for the first time. It takes a backup of active slot to inactive slot)
In TWRP, click "Wipe", "Format Data", then type "yes" as prompted.
ADB sideload the newest build
Reboot to fastboot and do fastboot -w via terminal
Boot into "Recovery", this will boot you to either Lineage Recovery or TWRP depending on your choice to install TWRP or not. It is necessary to reboot between ROM flash and GApps/Addon flash due to verity/slot-swap logic.
(Optionally) Flash GApps - Only MindTheGApps arm64 are compatible, OpenGApps are not compatible with A/B yet: MindTheGApps.
(Optionally) Flash SU - you'll need to turn it on from in developer settings after first boot Lineage OS SU Addon. - Magisk works fine, though is not supported.
Reboot

Warning
If you are coming from stock ROM and it's your first time flashing lineage, flash copy-partition zip (See second post) unless your device will brick and I'm not responsible

ROOT! ROOT! Give me root or i'll die!!! Where root is???
First of all DO NOT flash any SuperSu/SuperUser/SuperMan zip package to get root. Go to Settings>Developement Settings>Root access and select "Apps Only"
Why no nightly today?
Build failed. Check again tomorrow
When do I have to wipe data?
You must wipe data only when you're switching from another rom or migrating to Snapshot branch from Nightly and vice versa. You don't need to wipe data when you update in the same release channe (this applies to 13.0 -> 14.1 upgrades too)
Will you add <insert awesome feature here>?
I won't. If you write it, submit a commit to gerrit, where it will be reviewed.

Copy Partition- Initial Setup
Flash the attachement via TWRP
Fantastic, can't wait to try this! :good: The copy-partition zip seems to be missing though? :crying:
Awesome! Thank you, can't wait to try it out.
Is the copy partitions zip the same as the one on the Lineage OS 15.1 thread?

When that app stop working select app info, force stop and clear app data.
And try again it'll work
And when you want to restore your stuff it'll show another error: "data transfer stop working" (I don't remember exact name) do the same force stop and clear data but this time allow all the permissions (storage, calls, etc)

Always has worked for me in this senario. Good luck.
Nice work! Congratulations @rahulsnair + everybody on the team. Wow, did You receive the device on Monday this week?
So, I flashed and I'm writing the journey here and keep editing as I go:
- Is Emergency calling working, can you connect? You can test by calling there and saying that you wanted to test.
- Moto actions - Working!
- Is the camera quality the same-ish? I'd say yes.
- Can I install Moto Camera 2 (Stock)? Yes.
- Tethering (yes) / Hotspot (working) / Bluetooth calling (working) / Casting (working) / NFC (working).
- Since "Copy A -> B Partitions zip" makes a copy of the current ROM to another slot (correct?), how to restore from there? I know how to restore from twrp backup.
[STROKE] EDIT: At the moment I'm getting "Pixel Setup keeps stopping" Cleared cache. Did not help. I have no navbar. For some reason Gapps didn't flash correctly I think. Trying again from there.[/STROKE]
EDIT2: You have the wrong link in OP. It points to 8.x MindTheGapps
Here's the 9.x version:
https://androidfilehost.com/?w=file...0cea2c259bd6b42b84ebd97a7d581187be08d20207d94
The same error manifests in 9.0 MindTheGapps. I got a little further though. But it's possible to plough through. Just reboot if you get stuck like I did and you will get there.
* Still no navbar during setup. (This might possibly be remedied by enabling on-screen navbar before flashing gapps, maybe: "settings -> system -> buttons).
* When connecting to wifi at setup, it will connect, but nothing happens, no "next" button"
* Not able to skip restoring backup from Google account.
* Data Migration Tool shows that its pixel version. Give permissions by clicking "App Info", "Permissions", check all.
* I have a strong feeling I have flashed MindTheGapps for Pixel :silly::highfive::laugh:
Wohoo! Made it through the setup, and I have a NavBar! And a working ROM! Super! (Some time later) - It's an awesome smooth driver. Absolutely beautiful.
* TWRP is suddenly showing garbled folders in sdcard. There was a post about that... Lemme see -- Ok so the problem is force_encryption. For that I'd need help, how to change that?
* Computer does not see external sd anymore
* Integrated E-mail app couldn't log to Gmail
* Music player didn't see external SD - fixed by magisk module "ExSdcard Access Enabler".
* Audio Fx didn't change anything - there's a fix to try clearing the data and cache and see if it starts working - I installed Viper4Android FX through Magisk Manager, works.

I'm not going to test emergency services.
Moto actions do work-and this is why you don't see a navbar on setup. Fingerprint gestures, swipe right to left to go back, tap for home, left to right for recent, long press for assistant.
Copy partions- this should let you dual boot roms. So los15.1 on slot a and slot b can have Los16. The twrp reboot screen can allow you to choose your boot slot.
Gapps-you can use any gapps really just be sure to flash them if you flash a rom update. I like opengapps arm64 nano builds myself. Then install Google apps from play store.
Twrp- we have to wait for devs to deal with this. It will be fixed in time if it's not fixed with the new official twrp(I haven't tested it yet). It only applies to internal storage. SD card won't be scrambled.
SD card-the mount point is wrong. I think it was /run/media/sdcard or something similar. Some apps can find the path and some can't.

Great, thanks for clarifying
My post above is written as I go through the setup, therefore a mess.
External SD resides at /mnt/media_rw/(sd_card_name).
Easiest way to fix (most apps) to recognize it is to load ExSdCard Access Enabler module in Magisk Manager.
Just to clear up something the reason mavnar isn't shown is you need to use fingerprint gestures. Swipe left to right for recent, tap for home, swipe left to right to go back. Then you can activate navbar in settings after set up.

yes, it seems so. I asked this question in Adobe Support, but didn't get a satisfactory answer.
Is anyone else having a problem enabling the microphone in Gboard? It's not a big issue as I'm able to switch to Google Voice typing on the fly. I was just wondering if it's something I did, or if it is something with this ROM.
For reference I installed Nano Gapps, and Gboard from the store.

Volte not Working Sir
I flashed Rom v1.2 M50 Star on my 402+ Sky Mobile distributed by CG Govt. Everything is working fine as of now instead of VoLTE.
Network is showing. Internet also working. But VoLTE is missing.
Settings like enhanced volte mode are correctly set and there is no effect when changing preferred network to 3g/2g. Jio receives 4G signal every time.
In Testing menu, Preferred network type is set to unknown and volte provisioned is enabled. Changing both these settings don't have any effect and they revert to default automatically after exit.
Calling is working by using Jiocall App but i hate using an app for calling when phone is Volte enabled out of the box. Please suggest any solution or patch the Rom for volte issue.
By the way, thanks for this Wonderful ROM.

what is your current os Linux or Window ?
if Windows then which version ? 32bit or 64bit
first of all, uninstall all adb and spdtreatrum driver from your current windows from control panel (program and feature) or use usb deview (portable version) depend upon your current os type 32/64bit.
run as administrator (and select and unistall).
if your current os is win 10/8/8.1 or 7 then yo have to reboot in test mode (search google for how to boot win 10 in test mode)
means you have to disable driver signature enforcment.
then install 15 sec adb & fastboot installer - https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4623157&d=1540039037
from this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
then reboot again in test mode. this time it will recognize your device in fastboot mod

1. The network is restarting frequently after every few minutes. How to fix this? This problem is not faced in Stock ROM. Link for screen recorded video : https://youtu.be/by85zLwpnNQ
2. My mobile has got infected with two Malwares, "xhelper" and "fireway". Do you have any idea on how to remove them and prevent them from coming again. When i uninstall both, they install themselves again. Don't know which app is the real culprit behind them.
3. There is a system update. Is that for Custom ROM or the phone of which this ROM originally is?

I already try it without success. I'll try again in a few hours but I'm feeling that dont works. I wonder what could be. I mean, I use ViperOneM9 on another HTC OneM9 and it's always works fine. No need to set APN or whatever. Even after flash/dirty flash, changing roms and then reisntall ViperOne... the signal always works perfect in this case.
Thank you for reply anyway

Or use only 6.16 and get there security updates. This version was really crazy in battery life. I remember also some little graphics glitches, mostly with recents, but in overall BEST custom rom for this device.

Droidian is a GNU/Linux distribution based on top of Mobian, a Debian-based distribution for mobile devices. The goal of Droidian is to be able to run Mobian on Android phones. This is accomplished by using well-known technologies such as libhybris and Halium.## What works
WIFI
Audio
Video Playback
USB-OTG
Cellular Data
Calls/SMS
Bluetooth
Wireguard
Flashlight
GPU (Works well in WayDroid, partially in Droidian)
See full list here
## What doesn't work
Camera
VoWifi
You tell us
Old UNOFFICIAL installation steps
Spoiler
This steps and UNOFFICIAL build of droidian have been abandonned and is deprecated, you're on your own there ! We recommand to follow official steps below
## Required Files
ADB commands and stuff
TWPR Treble : https://mega.nz/folder/UgdQRYSD#8s-_u2HJQZDEqNnFOnejxQ
You'll find it in : Recovery_(System-As-Root_Compatible) > twrp-op3treble-3.3.1-1.img
Latest firmware for your phone (at the writing time: 9.0.6) : https://github.com/nvertigo/firmware-3t/tree/master/archive (like version oxygenos-9.0.6-no-alipay-firmware-3.zip or oxygenos-9.0.6-firmware-3.zip if using a OP3)
WARNING ! Firmware are device-specific, be careful to take a OP3 or OP3T depending on your device !
LineageOS Treble: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vnJEKkhO3xqH-fWWG55-yxwx5K1EeKq7
You only need the file LineageOS Treble
droidian-api28-arm64.zip : https://github.com/droidian-images/droidian/releases
NOTE: As we are flashing LineageOS 16 (android 9), pay attention to use and flash Droidian API28 (which is the version for Android 9)
Please do not use generic halium anymore, @Bettehem made a special version combining both files for OnePlus 3/T here : https://gitlab.com/Bettehem/op3-halium-waydroid Please prefer this version
Below, generic halium files that this tutorial does not recommend
halium-boot.img : https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/halium/oneplus3/halium-boot.img
halium-ramdisk.zip : https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/halium/GSI/tools/halium-ramdisk.zip
GSI patch by @Bettehem : https://gitlab.com/Bettehem/op3-gsi-fix-droidian
You can have alpha version from CI/CD artifact : https://gitlab.com/Bettehem/op3-gsi-fix-droidian/-/jobs/artifacts/main/browse?job=makezip
## Installation
First treblize your phone with the instructions from here: https://github.com/OP3-Halium/Documentation#treblelizing-your-op3t--firmware--twrp
Basically, all you have to do is :
Flash the special TWRP Treble previously downloaded
Boot it up and go to "Advanced" -> "Terminal", Type treblize and run
Reboot to recovery
Click to collapse
Then follow the instructions here: https://github.com/OP3-Halium/Documentation#installing-using-erfan-gsi
Basically after you've treblized your device and installed the latest firmware, the install steps are as follows:
Flash the custom LineageOS Treble,so you get the /vendor partition populated.
Reboot to check that everything works. If so, reboot back in to recovery.
Go to advanced wipe and wipe everything except /vendor.
Reboot back into recovery.
Flash the droidian .zip (adb sideload droidian-api28.zip)
Deprecated steps
Flash halium-boot.img
⚠ This shouldn't be done with adb sideload, instead use those two lines :
adb push ./halium-boot.img /tmp/
adb shell "dd if=/tmp/halium-boot.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/boot"
Flash halium-ramdisk.zip.
Now just flash @Bettehem's halium-boot.img
Flash @Bettehem's op3-gsi-fix-droidian.zip
⚠ Do NOT flash the regular op3-gsi-fix.zip which is for ubports and not this project ⚠
### Out of storageA note from @Bettehem 's GSI fix :
It was made possible to move the user's home dir to the phone's userdata partition, so you can utilize the full 64/128GB storage on the device. By default when you install Droidian, the user's home dir is on the 8GB system image, and that's not very much space for both the OS and your home dir
So after installing and booting the device, you can perform the first time setup if you want or skip it for now. Then open a terminal and run the command move-home
Click to collapse
OnePlus3 is officially supported by Droidian now, here's the updated step by step install :
## Required Files
Download the latest recovery flashable zip droidian-OFFICIAL-phosh-phone-oneplus_oneplus3-api28-arm64_XXXX.zip: https://github.com/droidian-images/droidian/releases
## InstallationThe step-by-step installation comes from this guide : https://github.com/Droidian-oneplus3/device-page#requirements
Treblize your device:
Instructions here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/treble-unofficial-lineageos-16-0-treble-for-oneplus-3-3t.3830455/
After you have installed the custom twrp and you have a /vendor partition, install the custom LineageOS 16 build from the guide.
With LineageOS 16 installed, reboot and verify that everything works. Then reboot back into TWRP.
In TWRP, go Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Select everything except Vendor and USB-OTG, then Swipe to Wipe.
Reboot into recovery
Flash the droidian .zip using the recovery's install menu or adb sideload
Reboot
Congrats, you're all done, just restart your phone and enjoy using Droidian
## Troubleshoots
It had been reported some failing with the sideload function to flash parts of this tutorial.
If you enconter those problems, we recommend you to push the files to the device using adb push /path/to/your/file /tmp/ and then use TWRP's own install method
## Notes:
### First bootThe first boot can take up to 30 seconds. If you see the green droidian's logo on boot, don't worry for the following black screen, just your phone doing its stuff. Once you're os finally booted and ready to use, you'll have the screen showing time and icons.
### Default passwordThe default password is 1234.
### Wrong UI scaleSome applications aren't designed to fit well on to tiny mobile screens, so if you encounter a problem where buttons/text doesn't properly fit on the screen, do the following:
1. Open the application which doesn't fit well on your screen
2. Open the Mobile Settings application and navigate to the Compositor menu
3. Turn on the toggle for the application which doesn't scale well
Now every time you open the application, it should get scaled down to fit your screen.
### Status
Droidian GSIs are experimental! Bugs and missing features are expected.
OnePlus 3 isn't officially supported by Droidian
OnePlus3 is offically supported since 19/06/2023
@Bettehem's patch is a WIP
### SSH accessConnect your phone to your computer and type ssh [email protected]<OP3-WIFI-IP>, the password is 1234
### ApplicationsYou can find a list of mobile-friendly Linux applications at LinuxPhoneApps
# Credits
Thanks the Droidian team and the Mobian team for bringing Debian on mobile https://droidian.org | https://mobian-project.org
Thanks to the HaliumProject for all the hard work they do making this whole possible https://halium.org
Thanks to everyone contributing on https://github.com/OP3-Halium for those comprehensive tutorials
Thanks to simonsmh, dianlujitao, chenxingyu, for working and building the LOS Treble (Source Code: https://github.com/OP3Treble )
A huge and special thanks to @Bettehem (Telegram, Gitlab, XDA) for developing the patch and did help me to have it up and running on my phone
Thanks to you for giving a try to this and following this tutorial
# Troubleshooting## WiFi not connectingDroidian detects two wifi cards, and only one seems to work at a time.
If Droidian is trying to connect using the wrong card, you can easily change it by running the command nmtui, then select "Activate a connection" and then select the WiFi network you want to connect to.
## Mobile data not workingIn settings go to mobile network and press the "Unlock" button. Then close the settings app and open again, because the UI doesn't get updated automatically.
You should now be able to manage your mobile connection from here. To get correct Acces Point Name (APN) settings for your carrier, look here: https://apn.how
After you have set up the APN settings, then just toggle the "Mobile Data" setting off and back on again. If mobile data still doesn't work, you may want to restart the ofono service by running this command: sudo systemctl restart ofono.service. Then reopen settings and toggle the "Mobile Data" setting off and on again.
## Changing audio deviceThere's a known issue with changing the audio device inside the Settings app. You can use something like pavucontrol, ncpamixer or even just run pactl/pacmd commands directly.
You need to change the sinks port from the primary_output sink for it to work. Changing the port from the deep_buffer sink doesn't work.
# Random screenshots
I'm working on getting this installed. Can't seem to get past bootloader (oneplus icon).
Attempting to build on my system and see if that helps.

The problem may come from the firmware link I did put before. It wasn't for 3T, so I just updated it and it would prevent similar errors
Please tell me when you'll retry and if now it works well
Actually, looking somewhat closer, I think the issue is finding the correct droidian zip to sideload. several are available, and the few I've tried fail with:

Hey, the good version is Droidian API 28 ('cause you're using a base Android 9) ARM64 (which is the Snapdragon in OP3/T)
My OP3 seems to boot into droidian but I have no display, I can tell booting finished because I get sounds when I adjust the volume or connect a charger. Does anyone have an idea why this might be?
Steps I took:
- Flashed latest firmware
- Installed treble TWRP
- ran treblize in TWRP console
- wiped all partitions with advanced wipe (including vendor)
- sideloaded / installed lineage 16 zip and rebooted to test
- wiped all partitions other than vendor in TWRP
- sideloaded / installed "droidian-OFFICIAL-phosh-phone-rootfs-api28-arm64-24_20220804.zip"
- installed hallium-boot in bootloader using "fastboot flash boot hallium-boot.img"
- rebooted

Hi, you need to install op3-gsi-fix-droidian.zip to get it working on the OnePlus 3.
You can download it from here: https://gitlab.com/Bettehem/op3-gsi-fix-droidian/-/jobs/artifacts/main/browse?job=makezip
So after flashing the droidian-api28-arm64.zip, just flash op3-gsi-fix-droidian.zip and you should be good to go.
Also remember to run the move-home command in terminal after booting for the first time. It will allow you to use all of the storage on the device

Thank you. I'm not sure how I missed that in the OP, I saw the bit in red for step 7 and just stopped there I guess
Anyway it's working now and OMG it's actually kinda good. Last time I tried a linux distro for an android phone, which wasn't that long ago, it froze almost all of the time. This seems quite responsive and actually has quite a good keyboard too. My hope for linux on phones (other that android) has been restored

This seems quite responsive and actually has quite a good keyboard too. My hope for linux on phones (other that android) has been restored

Yeah I like Droidian quite a lot. I have been using it as my daily driver for some time now. Only camera doesn't work but hopefully I'll solve that issue at some point in the near future
I'm having problems with installing.
I followed the steps as instructed, treblized the phone (3T) and installed Linage 16. Lineage is booting fine. I checked the vendor partition which is populated.
After the wiping step (vendor left untouched) I installed droidian (tried droidian-OFFICIAL-phosh-phone-rootfs-api28-arm64-24_20220804.zip and droidian-OFFICIAL-phosh-phone-rootfs-api28-arm64-nightly_20221003.zip) and halium-boot.img. I also installed the patch "op3-gsi-fix-droidian.zip".
Droidian isn't loading. When using the halium-boot.img (15.41 mb) linked in this thread, the phone shows the bootscreen (1+) and reboots after some time. Using the halium-boot from this instruction: https://github.com/OP3-Halium/Documentation (15.8 mb) the phone just shows the 1+ logo without rebooting ...

Hi, this tutorial recommand using Bettehem's halium-boot file.
If you did checked the Github's documentation, you should have saw a note part for flashing the halium-boot.zip ( https://github.com/OP3-Halium/Documentation#note ) describing 3 differents methods to do it. Did you follow them all or how did you do it ? It may be recommended to use the old technic :
Flash halium-boot.img ⚠ This shouldn't be done with adb sideload, instead use those two lines :
Code:
adb push ./halium-boot.img /tmp/
adb shell "dd if=/tmp/halium-boot.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/boot"

I used fastboot and the TWRP push method, no difference. I used all the files linked in this tutorial and all of those in the github documentation. After flashing, when rebootIng, TWRP complains that there is noch OS installed... Lineage Installation is no problem. I just tried the ubports installer to install Ubuntu Touch. This stops while pushing the files... Installing OxygenOS works... kinda strange
Update: It's working now. I also had to do "format data / factory reset" after step 2 and repair the fs of cache, system and data to ext4 after rebooting. Using the files from the OP3-Halium-Documentation Droidian is now loading.
I'm installing Droidian, but for some reason I'm getting a booting Ubuntu Touch. I flash in the following order:
* wipe everything but /vendor
* `ubports_GSI_installer_v10.zip`
* `droidian-devtools-api28-arm64_20220804.zip`
* `op3-gsi-fix-droidian.zip`
If I try to wipe `/system` before flashing `droidian-devtools-api28-arm64_20220804.zip`, I'm getting an error: `No hybris-mobian image found`
What am I doing wrong?

You shouldn't be installing ubports_GSI_installer if you want Droidian. UBports is Ubuntu Touch.
To get Droidian running, follow the instructions on this page or https://github.com/OP3-Halium/Documentation#installing-droidian
For Droidian, you shouldn't be using ubports or droidian-devtools, as neither of those are used in this installation.
droidian-devtools is optionally used with very old droidian images and is not at all needed in the newer ones so don't use it.
Hi, I installed droidian on op3t as described, it works from beginning. I used "droidian-OFFICIAL-phosh-phone-rootfs-api28-arm64-24_20220804.zip" an made an "apt-get (update, upgrade, dist-upgrade) to get the latest bookworm version.
The only problem atm: the phone cannot suspend. The blue LED blinks and if it ends the screen with the PIN login turns on (that does happen in a loop). Any hints?

Hi, I'm not sure why it does that but I'll try to investigate

If I remember right it could sleep if I disable wifi. I tried to work around with a script running 'onsuspend' but had no luck, always a probleme because the wifi adapter was shown twice in phosh settings.
