New Mi 4W unable to update and stuck at MIUI 7

Hello Guys ! I just got my hands on brand new MI 4W (In India) which had come with Miui 6 out of the box. I am using the device for past one day but I have got only the MIUI 7 update and yet to receive the MIUI 9 update. I understand that MI 4 has been upgraded to 6.0.1 but my phone is still stuck at 4.4.4 and when checked for updates in Updater App, it comes as no updates available.
Should I go ahead and download latest global stable ROM and flash it via the updater App ? To do this should the device needs to have bootloader unlocked ? Also need to know if this method of upgrading is fine can we upgrade to MIUI9 directly from the present MIUI 7 ?
Presently in MIUI GLOBAL 7.1.2.0 Stable - KXDMICK.
hey
i have the exact same problem
did you find a way ?

Miui 10 stable update for those with Miui 10 global beta 8.10.25?

I apologize if I'm putting a redundant question here. I'm on MIUI 10 Global 8.10.25 beta version right now. Will I get a stable version of MIUI 10 or will I have to do it manually?
If I've got to update it manually, can I do it without unlocking my bootloader? Like through system update package?
And also as I've read, there are different updates to be downloaded for those with Miui 9 and others with MIUI globar beta version, right?
If I can flash global stable miui 10, could someone please be kind as to put some official download link of Miui 10 based stable rom for those with Miui 10 global beta version?

+1 but with unlocked bootloader
You can without unlock the bootloader. Just download the stable recovery rom and install it with the Miui updater (in settings), but be careful your internal storage will be wipe.

Downgrading and anti rollback

Hello
I'm planning to buy the Mi10 lite 5g (monet). I found out that the latest firmware for it is 12.0.1.
When I buy it, I plan to use Xiaomi.eu ROM straight away after unlocking bootloader and installing twrp. But the latest Xiaomi.eu available is 11.0.4.
Suppose the device comes with 12.0.1 out of the box, can i flash 11.0.4 Xiaomi.eu via twrp onto it? Will it brick due to anti rollback protection?
I can't help with the flashing question but just wanted to say that mine came with MIUI 11(can't remember the version) out of the box. 12 is an OTA update.
i've downgraded from miui 12.0.1.0.QJIEUXM to 11.0.11.0.QJIEUXM (EEAA fastboot version) with miflash successfully, no issue for me :good:
Mi 10 Lite 5G is now available in third-party Recovery, xiaomi.EU has MIUI12 stable version and development version, which can be swipes at will.

Firmwarequestion

Hello guys, I have a question: I want to update the firmware on my Poco and I use RROS 10. The latest firmware for European devices is already made Android11 (V12.0.8.0.r) can i still flash this with my Android 10?
Hi. As far as I know the only A11 stock ROM available for Surya is V12.0.6.0.RJGEUXM Europe Beta which you can flash over your current ROM (you'll have format data afterwards though). Don't know about this "Android11 (V12.0.8.0.r)". Better read up a bit more on this before you get your phone bricked
Thx man!

[HELP] Cannot find stock firmware for Karna (Non- NFC) version

I'm sorry if I posted it in the wrong thread, but I just didn't find the latest firmware of karna. Every thread i looked for, the download page says 'Surya'. It'd be great if someone posted the link to the archives/latest firmware for Karna.
Also, did Karna get official (MIUI) Android 11?
I am trying to install Arrow OS (OSS) so I need the latest firmware
They are unified builds.
Even the OTA update I got for Indian POCO X3 had the word SURYA in it.
And yes, Android 11 is released for Indian Variant. Recovery ROM is 2.3GB based on MIUI 12.0.1.0

Download link to the stock firmware?
Here's the direct link from Xiaomi Server.
2.3GB size recovery ROM.
One thing to know before you update is, you cannot use full screen gestures with third party launcher. You have to use built in Poco Launcher or use Navigation Buttons.
