Hey I recently purchased the Galaxy buds and I noticed with my phone in my pocket while I walk every couple of minutes or so the audio will Skip and cut out and I also noticed while it's skipping if I place my hand over my phone it will skip even worse making me think that these earbuds won't work if there's any sort of object even your pants are in the way.
My buddy at work has the new S10+ and he said it doesn't skip it all for him with his phone in his pocket. Could anyone who also owns the new Galaxy buds and use them on the Note9 comment on their experience? I have already reset the earbuds and reset the Bluetooth connection and it still skips, I'm wondering if I have faulty earbuds?
Same problem here with buds and note 9.

I did a chat with Samsung via the Members app and they think my buds are defective and instructed me to hurry up and swap them out for a different pair at my local AT&T store since that's where I got them since I am still within the 14 day return window with another pair to see if the problem still occurs. The skipping is happening with the black pair (not sure if this matters) but I am going to see if I can get a white pair in exchange since that's the same color the guy at work has without the skipping problem.
So? Did it solve the Problem??

Unfortunately no. I purchased them from ATT.com with their 25% any Samsung accessory promotion and they were sold out of them online and in store so I had no choice but to return them and now that promotion has expired.
Do you have an official Samsung cover on the phone? I got that until changing to a non smart cover. The NFC in the cover appears to limit the BT

Yes I was using the Official Samsung Rugged case. I no longer have the Note9 or the buds to check if this was the case though.

Guys,
I've come across a prob in my i9000 Galaxy S. :-(
My earpiece is defective somehow, as it makes a rattling noise when i make calls. I compared with another Galaxy S and identified this problem. Its like those cheap speakers you find on pocket radios now.
So i need to replace my earpiece and i dont know where to look for one. When i checked the manuals and videos i saw that it comes as part in a ribbon cable which also has the 3.5mm audio base.
I already tried ebay, but most of em are coming from hong kong, china which i believe are not authentic. Most of them even looks like they were home made.
From where can i get a genuine Samsung galaxy S earpiece ?
I wont mind even if its a working one removed from a bricked or a broken galaxy S.
Please help me out guys, as this noise bothers me everytime i make a call. :-(
mine started doing this about 2 days ago as well

Do you mean headset? If yes just get a new one or get a Bluetooth one.
If your phone's earpiece is crackling send it back for warranty claim as mine was fixed after replacing motherboard.

I have the same problem (the band actually separated from the mechanism that attaches the band to the watch, it is not actually separated from the case) and am bummed I did not get the sport version. Since I was using one large and one small strap, I have reversed the ends and can still wear the watch but who knows for how long.
However, I am using the failure as an opportunity to try and fashion a way to adapt the spring loaded mechanism to attach a standard watch band. I am still in the planning stages and will post something if I actually make it work.

you are correct they dont specify size but im assuming they all come in the large size L as that is what I got.
Ordered red bands for the wife for christmas and got em yesterday, tans are on the way (I hope) got em direct from samsung.
As for the band coming apart, all good here for both me and the wife, still as solid as the day I got em. Must be defective.

Give it time - I have had mine for 2 months. Strap separated 2 days ago. Having a lot of problems getting Samsung CS to replace it under warranty. I would reccomend that you definitely buy the Classic. This watch band problem is not going away. New bands are $49 equal to the price of a Classic when you add the watch cost.

Could the people having strap issues please provide a tad bit more background on their use patterns?
Did the straps fail when removing them from the watch case?
Had the straps previously been removed just to determine which size worked best for you?
Do you wear your straps tight or loose?
I think this will help get down to exactly what the failure point is and if some are going to be more susceptible than others. For instance; I'd ordered a warehouse deal one from Amazon and when it arrived it had the small size strap on it. So I attempted to switch out the band to the larger size but the buckle side band was nearly impossible to remove. Ultimately i got it removed, but the band pulled away from the metal bracket on one side. Eventually i had to return the watch anyway because the previous owner turned on reactivation lock But I can definitely see these bands prone to damage and failure when switching them out.

I like the classic watch but for some us its not an option as we need the 3G, GPS and speaker which does not come with the classic.

I think mine broke because I wear the watch when I sleep and I move around a lot and probably was dragging my arm under my body or something. Anyway, I could see the band separating from the mechanism for a few weeks before it actually came apart. Normally there is no separation between the mechanism and the band but it slowly started showing a gap between the strap and it's mounting point.
I do wear the band tight. Definitely had nothing to do with removing the band from the watch.
I have been traveling all week and have not had time to try my idea for a retrofit to use a standard watch band but I have a strategy. Should cost next to nothing (<$2US) but it may not look great. I will try tomorrow.

Mine did the same thing. I did take the band off and noticed 2 small screws holding the connector part of the band to the rubber band itself. I was able to tighten those screws and the separation issue was fixed. However, I don't think I should have to tighten things that are coming loose on a watch that costs this much

My Guess on this sizing is: When you buy the watch the factory box comes with S & L straps. The additional bands will only be available in one size, Medium which will fit both small and large wrists.
Compare your new red M band with the original S & L bands that came with your watch. I wouldn't doubt they have taken a large band and possibly put more holes in it so it will fit most wrists.

Got my s2 sport 3 days ago and today I noticed the bezel is kind of flimsy. Not that it rotates more easily but more like it is not that well attached to the case anymore. Feels as if it was meant to be pressed as a buttton rather than only rotate.
Anyone else with this issue? Is this "normal"?
I had that issue on the the first one I bought. Returned it and got another

Thanks. After seeing other posts of people having similar or even worse problems with the bezel, I asked Amazon for a replacement. Now I have to return my current gear s2.

Not very happy... Will see if the replacement hasn't the same problem.
I have the same issue. The bezel makes a click noise when I touch it. I didn't recognize it the first days when I played with my device. I will get my replacement tomorrow so I can compare 1:1 what's normal and what's not.

Yes, I also didn't have the clicking on the bezel at first, then it suddenly became more "raised" and started to click when touched.
Please, let us know if your second watch is better. Will get my replacement by next monday, but I plan to send back the old one on saturday, so no chance to compare them.
Thanks.
Can anybody who thinks they have a flimsy bezel tell me if you scroll with the rotating bezel slowly but not too slow in the "app circle" back and forth, does it sometimes go the wrong direction you're spinning?
I am experiencing this with the Verizon Gear S2 3G. Sometimes its more than one time if I keep spinning in the same direction. It seems it got into a loop or something. Planning on bringing it back and I got it 3 days ago. I can press mine down like it is a button. I had the S2 bluetooth before and I don't really remember that happening.
Nope. Mine only was sort of loose but the rotation response had no issues. The replacement is better.
Ok I'm gonna go bring it in tomorrow
This thread dicusses a clicking sound that people are reporting coming from the top of their Pixel 2, when NFC is on: https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-2/help/clicking-phone-calls-t3691069.
Disabling NFC makes the clicking sound go away. It is audible at all times when the screen is on. At least some people, including me, find that it is louder when you put your ear to the back of the phone at the top, than when you hold the earpiece to your ear. So it is not clear if the sound is coming directly from the earpiece or not. But it is loud enough to be audible during calls and very annoying. The issue seems to only affect the Pixel 2 and not the 2 XL.
I'm just wondering if there are people with the Pixel 2 who do not hear the clicking sound? Is it just the few people commenting in the other thread or is this more or less a universal problem? I've seen very few reports (just one) of people saying they do not have this issue with their Pixel 2.

I RMA'd my device, so it's good to know I have some chance of getting one without the issue. Generally Google has apparently stopped RMAing devices for this issue while the look into it. They said they did not want to just send me another device that would also potentially have the issue. That makes sense. But after I talked to customer service for a while, they said they'd send me a new one anyway.
Neither I nor my wife have noticed this problem on our Pixel 2 phones.
I do not have this issue.
no problems here
No issues here and I have made a lot of calls in the short time I have had it
Thanks for the responses so far.
Just to be clear, the clicking sound only occurs when NFC is on. So those saying they do not have the problem have NFC on and still do not hear the clicking sound?

I think I will go in to store to get it replaced. Although I believe Google will sort it with update I might get a unit that does not crush blacks like mine.
Carphone is ok with replacements in the first 30 days period. I have gone through 4 Nexus 6p with them.
Also spoke to Google and they said even though bought elswere they will still provide support and replacements if you want to go through them later on.
I absolutely love this phone.
I bought mine from CPW on Thursday, no clicking sounds despite NFC being turned on serial prefix FA79L.
As previously mentioned, Google will provide warranty cover for 2 years in the E.U.
The camera on this device is excellent.
Strangely after charging my phone the issue is gone...
FA79T here bought from EE no problems at all
UK Mobiles.co.uk Serial beginning HT79S
No issues, NFC on and used for Android Pay several times.
FA79L from EE - no problems so far (only about 4 hours old!)
this is really a nice thread. at least google will be aware thats this issue is not happening on all devices.
Mine is from the Google Store, don't have any noise at all while on a call with those conditions met.
No clicking, and idk what it would even sound like. Anyone have a good recording of it?

Sounds like the second hand on a watch. Very noticeable in a quiet environment during a call. With NFC off, sound isn't present. But there's still some sort of hiss/whine similar to a HDD working. If you turn on the flashlight, that whine goes away. It can also be heard from the back of the phone near the camera.
Unfortunately for me I had these noises. Found out after reading the forums/Reddit. Getting a replacement next week from Google. Serial started with "FA."
I believe people with the XL 2 don't have this issue.
But despite those issues, the pixel 2 is great!

Well the updated adapter to fit the 2018 SM-R325 Gear VR arrived today all smashed to S and I hope it works to begin with (doesn't seem broken) and it barely looks any different than the Note8 USB Type-C adapter. The inner molding is slightly deeper and more rounded but the actual width is about the same. The Type-C connection is a little more angled and there's a N9 stamped on the side of the adapter. If I had my 512gb Ocean Blue Note9 I would test the fit, but Samsung dropped the ball just like they did the padding in the packaging for this adapter.

Makes sense to me. Money-wise why not just supply the adapter to the people who ask for them, instead of just giving them away to anyone and everyone and having to make more than probably needed.

Wow I just checked the gear vr and it is a older version sm-r324. Wow off by one number makes a difference with it all said and done. I just made it custom fit the the note 9 and I'm content now
Hey guys, I asked for the adapter on Samsung Members (Samsung+ app version EU) and it was pretty hard to get a assistant who was agree to send it to me (On my gear VR box I don't have the precise model, it just says SM-R324, and not SM-R324-xxxxx)
On my third try I've finally got a guy who understand the situation and ask for IMEI, SN from both note 9 and gear VR and all information for delivery.
Now I just wondering how long it takes for you to get the adapter ?
I'm pretty excited to test my note 9 on my gear VR, and I can't wait for it especially without having any tracking of the adapter.
It has been 6days since I gave my info to the chat assistant, when can I expect the adapter to arrive ?
Edit : 325 and not 324* I mistyped on my post sorry.
