I'm not surprised at all.I was one of those who thought nougat is just a dream.
Hi all!
It works fine and I'm not a beta tester. I was on 8.2.4.0 Stable (global).
How I installed this rom:
- reboot to recovery (TWRP 3.02)
- do a backup
- install this rom
- wipe cache/dalvik/art, wipe data
- reboot and done
In the market app type "google" and get the google installer if you want Gapps.

I tried the Honor TWRP view 10 in Mate 9 and it works. Here is the link from the thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-view-10/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-1-0-t3769917
Tested, decryption works, haven't tested anything else though
Did you try on Nougat or Oreo?

It's because RR is android 8.1. This recovery only works on 8.0.
will this allow OTA update to work with TWRP?

Hey guys
I have poco f2 pro 6gb\128gb
I unlocked bootloader and erased everything , when I reboot to system it with locked with mi account , I ignored this and returned again to fastboot and flashed TWRP , rebooted to TWRP and flash Xiaomi eu ROM , it flashed without any error
Then I rebooted to system and the problem started from there , bootloop!! Incredible bootloop that I hadn't seen before
I tried to wipe data , flash all kinds of ROM "eu , stock , AOSP ROMs" , all finished with success and no errors but the problem stayed exist
I tried to flash with miflash and xiaomitoolv2 , it also finish with success but the problem!! Didn't fixed
I tried to flash with edl mode "without test points" with mi flash , but it shows me "you must turn off Find My Device first" !! How f***in can I turn it off with this dead phone !!
I went to a maintenance center and told him trying test points method , but he failed
I tried to reset EFS but it tells me "no such file or dictionary"
What should I do now , I have been in this problem 2 months ago .
I promise that I will give a gift or money for anyone helps me
Thx

Is you data partition f2fs or ext4? I had similar issue, stuck in bootloop with clean stock rom (after flashing with MiFlashTool) when data partition was ext4. So I changed the data partition through Chinese TWRP from ext4 to f2fs and flashed again with MiFlashTool (clean without lock bootloader) to solve the issue.
Yo I hope I can help u. Firstly wtf going to a maintenance center for a soft brick ??? Man that doesn't worth it. Also I think ur twrp is the main problem. I experienced same issues cuz most of the twrp here are somewhat buggy.
Try the latest from LR Team 3.4.2 here, it's THE ONLY ONE that should be always recommended for now

As the title says i have mayor issues instaling miui.eu. It is on this p2pro and also on mi10t.
So instalation goes without any problem but then it goes into boot loop. It has ofc encripted data and storage which i do wipe and still does boot loop. Where is the mistake there?
Fyi i have done this on all my other older xiaomi phones with ease - f1, mix2s, rn3pro, mi5, mi5s, rn5pro, rn7... All of them went easily but this last two is making it damn hard. Any idea is much apriciated

Firmware is included in EU rom.
I am using F2 pro with xiaomi.eu rom
FIrst in xiaomi.eu rom ,i read to install Chinese firmware using fastboot then flash twrp then format data then again reboot to recovery then flash xiaomi.eu rom, then finally my rom booted
My friend also had f2 pro ,he did the same except flashing Chinese firmware and he got bootloop so he had to install Chinese rom to flash xiaomi.eu rom then finally the rom booted.

Formatting the data and flashing the rom is in my opinion the only way for the phone to restart.
You can try a backup with twrp but it doesn't always work.
Before updating you can use Miphone assistant+micloud+google.

Use the right TWRP and sometimes it is necessary to format the data several times and restarting on the twrp at each try.
but if the partitions are damaged Miflash can help you
