[FIX] GOOGLE CAMERA FC's

Hey there, I made this thread because many of the x820/x821 users were facing Google Camera force closes on their phones......I found this fix on this thread and tested it on my x821 with a success.... Please do check and reply if it worked for other users..... It was basically happening due to installation of GApps.... To fix this just follow these steps.....
1. Make sure your phone is rooted.
2. You need a root file manager.
3. Navigate and delete these files.
/System/framework/com.google.android.camera.experimental2016.jar and
/System/etc/permission/com.google.android.camera.experimental2016.xml
4. Clear data of Google Camera and Reboot. DONE.

The clicks are caused by the focus issues sadly, but the LeEco fix should be implemented into the custom rom im using in this weeks update, so I gotta hold out from using the camera until then!

this problem you have mostly with full gapps
in pico, mini and so on they works without fixing

Not delete.
I try to delete these files but it showing not able to delete. I am using aex pie rom foe le Max 2 X821.

Did you get root access? On the other hand if you're in pie ROM you don't need to do this anymore, just install an update to the same.... It will work fine:good:

You can use any ROM with Focus Fix toggle, like AEX, AICP, AOSiP, LOS etc:good:
Also take the note that your camera module is good, cause mine is bad and it doesn't work anymore.....

Kernel Source Code has been released

Xiaomi just released the Kernel Source code for mi mix 2s, you can find it here

I don't have the device, but it should be working near flawlessly on any officially treble enabled device.

Right, there haven't really been issues with treble from big manufacturers now has there? Now that Xiaomi is trying to be a bit more competent it's probably proper.

Flash xiaomi eu mi mix 2s twrp through fastboot(https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=818070582850507462), wipe and flash the system image to system.
You can just flash the system image through fastboot, but custom recovery is just more convenient.

The Android P version has the 4.9.84 but I don't remember if is the same of the MIUI stable, in my opinion the photos looks better with the google camera

Compiled, it boots.
I tried to make TWRP based on this kernel, but it stuck at the first logo screen. Sad.

Don't know, in DP2 there's only the snapdragon camera but you can install the google one via play store.
It haven't the nexus/pixel features like automatic HDR but it still works better then MIUIs one

Damn, it took months to get it working well on mi6.
Can you post comparison images?(Preferably in a zip archive or something)

Hey guys, it is another great work of our developer sir "askuccio" give to him the credit because he is the one who made it, i just wanted to share because of this great Huawei Camera app., Im also using Dot OS 2.4 rom made by him and it works fine.

As you installed the rom sir, you have notice that it will consume battery even in idle mode because it has no deep sleep but i have a solution with that, how ever you can pm me if you need help.

Does anyone know why the camera is not working on ANY ROM I install on my Mate 10 Lite RNE23? Only Morfuz ROM has working camera... I've tried every CAM apk file online without success

In omnirom openkirin some funcionts dont work, the same with stock openkirin camera.

You need to go back to your stock rom. Download stock rom of your original model and update using HuRupdater to update your original Rom. And that you will install again twrp and flash any treble rom. I encounter that before when im using morfuz and install another rom, my camera wont work.

Can the OP author provide information what huawei camera's version it is? Is it for instance com.huawei.camera Version 8.0.0.200 or com.huawei.camera Version 8.0.0.301 or what? Also it would be fair if OP author will collect and inform on first page on which Huawei devices with what ROM that huawei camera app works.

As we all know the OS is 32 bit so there is no option Portrait mode. But HDR+ can capture great pictures obviously better than stock camera.

Camera2api should be enabled before installing otherwise app will crash.

Yes coz magisk will be flashed with TWRP. There is also other method to root without twrp but i haven't tried that.

Hi, the best way is using a magisk mudule, if you have a stock ROM.

On HavocOS (64 Bits), I tried many GCam version, but all are very unstable ... :'(
Example :
- GCam 7.2 for Redmi Note 5 (It has the same camera module except the selfie one) : On cyanogenmods site --> Very unstable
- Gcam_6.1.021_Advanced_V1.7.190716.1800 : Found on this post --> Crash at launch
- MGC_6.1.021_BSG_Arnova_TlnNeun_V1.3.030119.0645 : Found on this post --> Very unstable
