New battery discharge in 2 stages
Hey guys
I have replaced my opo battery one month ago, at the beginning I thought it was a ROM problem when I realized it happens with every existing ROM for opo:
Basically the new battery discharge from 100 to 0 in about 3 hours and the phone turns off, if I wait 5 minutes and I turn the phone on I will have the battery back to 65% which discharge in about 3 more hours.
I did already the calibration and stuff like that...it doesn't work.
Any suggestions?

i was using my phone (meizu m2 mini) (flyme 4.5.4IN) as usual, locked the phone (battery was around 75%) and left if for around 30 minutes and checked my phone and found 13% battery. I plugged my charger and rebooted the phone and after 4 to 5 attempts the phone boots up with 11% battery and charging. i was using the phone as it was charging and suddenly the battery skips from 11% to 6% and then goes to 5% and then goes to 0% comes back to 1% and then again goes to 0% and shuts down due to ow battery.the pone sits in charge with 1% and doesnt pump up more than 1%. Can anybody help me with this?

Greetings and welcome to assist. I would try a battery calibration app and see if that helps, I have found a couple of threads on your device. You could see if the users there have experienced similar issues

Hello,
I bought a second hand S6, and after some while I noticed a battery issue.
While discharging, everyting is normal until about 11-12%, when it drops to 5% and then continues like normal, 4-3-2-1-shutdown.
If I put the charger even for a second in any percentage below 5% it jumps to 8-9% , and then contunues the discharge from there without missing capacity.
If again I continue to charge without disconnecting, if goes lets say from 1% to 8% instantly and then continues charging like normal.
Is this normal for an old phone? Or can I fix it somehow?
I had never noticed anything like that in any of my android phones before, ever 3 years old.
I have already deleted battery stats, and performed 2-3 times full charge/discharge cycles, without results
The ROM is original 6.0.1 rooted.
Hello,
Tried at 100% and stayed at 100%
Should I try at 10% or 1% ?

It happens for me too. It's just Samsung's failure. Sometimes my battery jumps %1 to %17 when i plug the charger.
To be honest, you can't do anything about it.
I did the proceadure at 14% it dropped to 0% after some seconds and then shut down.
I charged it OFF but when it reached 95% went to 100% in seconds.
When I unplug at 100% and wait 5 minutes (always OFF) at next connection to charger showed 95%.
So it took me 1 hour of intermitted charges to reach 100% and stay there.
We'll see what happens next. I'll keep you updated.
So I have this Mi Mix for 2 years now, somehow I cant get my miui 7 to the newest oreo miui 10. So I flashed my phone to miui 10, I lost all my data.
Then everything seems normal for 3 days, then I noticed my battery somehow stuck at 91% not going down or up even when I charged it.
So I searched how to recalibrate phone, it says to drain all the way to 0% then charge it back to 100%
so I drain it to "0%" (while it still says 91%), then the phone died.
So I charge my phone and it still says 91%, so I waited for 4 hours for the phone to charge.
When I turn on my phone, it still says 91% and after 15 minutes of use, it turned off and wont turn on just like its out of battery.
So I charged it back, and same thing happened. every 15 minutes after plug off the phone died.
Help !
no respond ? :/
Can anyone suggest what is happening here please with Mate9?
My phone has a new battery for last 6 months after original battery started swelling and expanding the phone case. New battery works like original except very occasionally, maybe once a month, the battery runs down faster than normal. It might normally last 36 hours whereas once in a while it would run down in 12 hours - last time the usage attributed high power consumption by Huawei Health app, but I don't know if this was culprit before. HOWEVER, when I plug in charger the phone doesn't charge but continues to run down. If I turn it off it doesn't charge but continues to run down. Then if I wait a few hours with it turned off it then acts normally and recharges 100% in 90 minutes in the turned off state for a full 36hrs++ usage when powered on again.
So what is wrong? Just and old phone needs replacing?
