Incorrect battery life

Hey guys, it seems as though right after I installed the 3.28 HardSPL by jocky that the battery percentage displayed on the phone is incorrect. I see that using the Battery program that the voltage of the battery when 50% is displayed is 4V. And that at 4.17V the battery is 70% and tops off charging at that point. I know that at 4V the battery is definitely not 50% and at 4.17V the battery should typically be full 100%. I knew something was wrong and tried turning it off and back on and nothing happened but when I removed the battery and put it back in the correct percentage was shown. Is there a fix for this? Thank you once again.
everything is fine here ... plus you should have posted this under jockyw's hardspl thread instead of creating a new one !!

I already wrote somewhere that for the battery is good remove battery about 5 minutes. You need to install a Battery Calibration, charge the battery until the end, open the Battery Calibration, follow the instructions, get out of it and turn off the charger.
Battery Calibration is recommended to use 2-3 times per year. Not more.
I am too facing battery problem after flashing custom Roms...
i want to mention here that if you want to use cyanogenmod but facing fast battery draining problems..then TJ_styles cyanogenmod 7.2 rc1 is best for use...i actually got surprised by its wonderful battery performance...just want to say thanks to TJ_style..superb ROM
If uvare that much confused just enable patternlock.. It shows the exact percantage of battery when u put on charging bro.. Or else remove it when u get a green notification icon showing 100 percent bro

[Q] My battery life with another rom

Well I have a samsung galaxy s advance (GT-I9070) with jedMOD Rom but my problem is the battery, because I used to when I had the stock gingerbread rom everything was fine but now with this rom something is wrong with the battery for example : When I charge the battery and I get the notification that is already loaded to 100% as I disconnect and 2 minutes later I see the phone information and tells me that the battery is 92% ... then what I can do?

You may want to look at what is draining your battery under battery statistics. If nothing there is abnormal, it may be the battery. I was experiencing a similar issue with my GSII. It would be down to 80% in a matter of minutes. I tried underclocking my CPU and everything, then it dawned on me to check the actual battery, sure enough it was starting to bulge. I replaced it and over the weekend I went 21 hours without having to charge my phone once!

Battery Problems

Yesturday night I flashed the 4ext recovery, hboot version 1.49.0007, OPPA GANGNAM rom and GAAPS 4.1.
Right after that I calibrated my battery by using it until 1% and then charged it all night. When I woke up it was only at 99% and it wouldnt go higher. Now it only charges up to 92% and the green LED opens to tell me the battery is fully charged... What did I do wrong... Why can't my device charge higher. What can I do to fix this?

There's no fix for this. It's the general android behavior to prevent overcharging batteries. One thing that works on some phones is to charge your phone when it's shut down, it should reach 100% but that's just cosmetic.
Battery guides and how to extend the battery life explain this behavior with more details.

[Q] What happened to my phone yesterday?

Alright so I was listening to music and my phone just shut down instantly, I left it charging overnight and it finally powered on. I'm pretty sure my battery was at over 20%, I'm guessing my own phone thought the battery was at over 20 but in reality the battery was almost dead? Anyone have any guesses on why this happened?
That happened to me once, do you flash roms when the battery is not fully charged? If you are running not the latest recovery you can erase battery stats or there are numerous apps in the play store to delete the battery stats. Just make sure you are charged to 100% before you clear the battery stats.
Yep, in fact I flashed at like 10% yesterday haha, and I'm running TWRP 2.3.1, anyway my phone died and charged it up to 100%. Thanks for the reply.
Also a bit off topic but how's that Galaxy KOR? I used your voltage table on KT747 and got 5 hours of screen on time.
