One UI and Themes - General Questions and Answers

Hi everyone
I was wondering on what's the situation with One UI and dark mode and theme.
Its obvious that at the moment that dark mode and themes don't work together but I have done some research and a Samsung Representative on a Samsung Forum mentioned that dark mode could work with themes that are compatible for Android 9 Pie.
After a good few searches on the store I can't seem to find these "Android Pie compatible Themes"
I am not a expert in creating themes for Samsungs but sure a theme could be created to work in 2 modes eg a light mode and a dark mode.
Does anyone know of any such themes or of any developers creating such themes.
Hope someone can help

[Q] A new question! Wondering if this is possible...

I was looking at my phone the other day and though I like the "Droid Blue" color scheme throughout the OS, I thought it might be fun to change it up. Is this possible? Easy, difficult, not at all? Does someone know where to find a procedure to do so? I was thinking of going with a red theme instead, just for something different...
Along the same lines, I read somewhere a while back that it may be possible to change the color scheme on Android 4.4 as an added option by Google within the software - can anyone verify this?
As always, thanks in advance!
4.4 is white and black, thank-goodness they got rid of the blue. Also, you should really take a look at the themes on the Play Store...
Thanks as always for your replies, it's to the point where I await your responses to my posts/questions in the RAZR HD forums
About the themes in the Play Store... Do they typically work with the stock OS / launcher, or do I have to install a different launcher for certain themes I find (as in the Red Light GO Launcher, for the GO Launcher EX app)?
I was also reading recently about the "Themer" (app?) in one of the threads here at XDA - any experience?
Most of the themes require a theme manager. However, you can use Xposed to install themes, if you're rooted. I haven't messed around with Themer or Go Launcher much. Most of the "themes" you can install on a launcher are only icons. The theme manager changes the entire look, just look at some of the themes for CM that are on the Play Store, you'll see what I mean. Xposed has a module that allows you to modify the themes and use them on most ROMs.

Dark material theme with stock icons

Hey everybody!
I am looking for a theme at the Samsung theme store and so far I haven't come across anything that fits my criteria.
Well, I just want a dark theme (dark grey, not pure black), Material-like or close to the Touchwiz theme, without any custom icons.
A lot of the available themes have custom icons that theme a few stock apps making them stand out among the dozen of custom apps I have, in a bad way.
So, any suggestions are welcome. I am starting to believe such theme doesn't even exist, but here's to hoping someone has better search skills than mine!

Unfortunately, it says "not available yet". From the comments I gather it is not compatible with Marshmallow.
hi,
i'm working on dark side of mm with nearly stock icon just squared more.
All with pure black background, blue and white text...with some blue buttons.
Anyway if u have root, you can easily keep stock icons, and whatever apk you think.
Contact me, i will tell you how

whats your favorite themes?

whats your favorite htc themes soo far? im using a pixel theme for now, prefer dark, black themes but cannot seem to find many. maybe we will get custom viper based themes soon.
Lone tree theme with sense8 dark icons is what I've been happy with lately
What font does everyone use? I like ASAP, but it doesn't display bold letters properly in some apps, namely, Android Messages. Makes it difficult to get rid of the notification badge

Theme App Coverage Question

Hello all,
I will start off by saying I love this app. As others here I just want to change the way everything looks.
My question: Is there a substratum theme that applies an overlay to the Outlook app? I use it quite frequently for work and the blue and white theme drives me nuts. I would love to see it added to something like "BLACK PANEL // Samsung mod" so I can have a nice black background with white/colored text and maybe a red header(can totally be an RGB option for everyone else too).
Does anyone know if there is a theme that has this support or if it's even possible? I do not mind paying for a theme so long as it works with my phone and themes the apps I want.
Sprint Samsung Galaxy S8+ Running Android 7.0
I don't think anybody actually has an Outlook overlay but you can just try sending a polite request email to your favourite theme developer and it might just work :fingers-crossed:
Swift dark themes it black if that helps

Question Themes

I've noticed that we don't have a discussion going on about themes. Let show off our themes off and include which Android version 11 or 12. Also,
Provide links or names on the themes.
I was looking for amoled black that suits me for so long that I decided to download NiceLock and Theme Park module and did the theme by myself because there was nothing in the store that was fine for me.
