Hi all,
I'm in need of the stock recovery.img for B331. I want to upgrade to Marshmallow, but I currently have TWRP recovery installed.
I would extract it from my update.app file, but I'm on a Mac so Huawei's extractor won't work for me.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

You can just extract is using Huawei Firmware Extractor from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454
I would do it, but unfortunately that application is for Windows and I'm on a Mac.
Good luck!

Hello. Someone has oreo boot.img l29 c432. accidentally deleted boot.img from my mate9. Without boot.img I can not recover the phone.
You got it?
Yes. I extracted it from the stock ROM. It has the name RAMDISK.img
Hello guys. I have a question for you today. Can you patch twrp in a firmware, and use update.app (dload method) to get your custom recovery and then root with magisk? Thank you!
If I understand it right I need an boot.img from ROM that I have installed on my Oneplus 8 if I want to root it with magisk. I checked in OxygenOS updater and version that I have installed is IN2015_11_C.35. The problem is I canĀ“t find ZIP from this version anywhere. Anyone know where can I find it or how to root this version?
I extracted the boot.img using MSM Tool.
