When will Samsung galaxy S6 getting official marshmallow update?

Maybe our dear samsung will update J7 Prime. Maybe not. Anybody know about an custom rom for Galaxy J7 Prime SM-G610? any developer team will develop a version of Android N for J7 Prime?,
nope..i dont think any Rom developer owns this device...
I'm assuming that this device will receive ported TW Roms and UO Lineage builds in the near future.

At first i had asked on live chat about the update on 1st april 2017, i thought it was a april's fool joke! Today my friend did the live chat on his J7 prime & we got the confirmation. I hope the nougat update will come with the new Samsung's Bixby AI assistant preinstalled. we will also get Samsung pay i guess cause the The j7 prime Chinese version model has Samsung pay! :fingers-crossed:

We got it yesterday night, as Samsung pay mini, July Security patch & New J wallpaper!
Android Nougat is confirmed for this device & currently under testing! SM-G610F user! Cheers! :good:

I know that. But not worth it, because paytm itself is better than this pay mini.

Depends upon personal preference though! I'm a Samsung fanboy! There are talks going on about Bixby coming to all Samsung devices! Good luck to Samsung with that(Big Data) :good:
J7 2017 rom
the new J7 2017 is a 99% replica of the 7 Prime and its on Nougat already. i was thinking maybe we can flash its ROM and have Nougat. only front camera and battery size changed
So samsung just released android 10 for J6+ and J4, even though J4 was not listed before it's still get android 10. Do you think Samsung will do the same for J4+ give this device the same advice for android 10?
(I hope Samsung do the same for this device since it almost has the same specs like J6+)

In my region the bootloader(?) is U5 for J6+ Android 10 and U6 for J4+ Android 9. Little surprising.
I wonder if it's possible to port the J6+ firmware to the J4+ ?
They are really similar...

i doubt it will get android 10 :/
it's already december but samsung still give us android 9 security patch update, i looked at sammobile
i guess samsung messed the update. hope samsung will give the android 10 soon...

hey , what if I m gonna flash this with odin? i really don t have enough patience to wait until scamsung will give everyone one ui 2.0 and android 10 for j4 plus users. my final question is : does it work Vodafone Romania SIM on this korean official rom if i have bootloader unlocked?
Hello, recently I purchased a new Galaxy s8 plus. Yesterday a new update notification appeared on my phone, offered me to download a new softweare update.--> g955fxxu9dtf1, that was released in June 2020.
I have very bad experience with samsung updates, as they destroyed my previous phones. is it safe to download and install this update to my new s8+ phone? or is it a destructive "update"?

Last security update was in march
All another versions of note20 ultra had installed (may) updates
What is the problem with air updates its too late
I want to install any another official rom with another csc
Will it have the new security updates or not ??
