Is Android Nougat Out For The Samsung Galaxy J7 (Metro Pcs) 2016 Version Yet?

Just Wondering.
Hey Krumplife4400,
Samsung has a history of being very slow to release updates. We just in the past two months received the J7 MM update.
Good luck getting Nougat on the J7 at all.

Is there going to be Android 8.0.0 for the Galaxy S7?

I don't mean to be rude in any way, but are any dev's working on an Oreo rom for the S7? I know some device's have started receiving ports to Oreo, and I just wanted to know if the S7 will ever recieve a port.
Thanks
S7 will receive an official update to Android 8.0 from Samsung so no doubt there will also be custom 8.0 ROMs too

Generic Samsung Galaxy firmware for s8+ - No updates??

Hey guys,
I have the unlocked sprint galaxy s8+ with the firmware/build number 955U1UEU1AQH3. I have a friend who has the same galaxy s8+ for At&t and it seems they have the 7.1.1 update. Also have a family member that has a note with 7.1.1 version on it and they have an unlocked verizon version. Why is the official unbranded samsung firmware not updated to any of the new software versions? Its confusing that there aren't any updates from 7.0 - 7.1.1. I am only seeming to get Android Security Patch Level updates, which is currently August 1, 2017.
Am I suppose to get the AT&T branded version OS in order to retrieve the latest real updates instead of patches? Is this a better option? If so, Id like to do so but keep my data without losing any of my apps and data, and also have a debloated version of the AT&T s8+ OS.
Please advise, thanks.
OP: Please move to Galaxy s8+ specific thread. Chose the wrong forum section

Android 7.1 for Note 5...

Take it with a grain of salt, but I just got off the phone with support and was just asking about a possible Oreo update for the Note 5(wishful thinking). They said that they don't have anything on that, but that knowing the latest is 7.0, that there is a 7.1 update in development right now. :fingers-crossed:
According sammobile.com T mobile will give Oreo update to Note 5. So hopefully At&t will do the same
