Hello.
I own a Samsung Galaxy S8+ with XEO firmware. Samsung Pay is not available in my region but I would like to use it anyway with my Galaxy Watch and PayPal account. Can I change my software without triggering Knox? Which software should I install? Is there any guide?
I have installed the Android Pie update.
Install the DBT version of the firmware , samsung pay is compatible with that
I can't find DBT Android Pie for SM-G955F
I have managed to install BTU instead of DBT but my active CSC code hasn't changed.

I just received the update on my UAE S7 Duos for June. First update since I received the phone in April.
So this is what I'm on now:
Baseband: G930FxxU1APEQ
Build: MMB29K.G930FXXU1APF2
Patch Level: June 1, 2016
Everything seems to be fine, Samsung Pay still works for me here in USA on ATT network.

I don't see why not. I had to side load Samsung pay and the framework from apkmirror but after that no issues.

I got it 3 days ago. UAE updates(security) are relatively earlier
Anyone know why the sammobile website doesn't find any XSG firmware for SM-G930FD? (link). The samfirm tool (from here on xda) also doesn't show any results. Have to use SM-G930F to download for the XSG csc.
Maybe this is why G930F firmware can be installed on G930FD

from my research, YES. the G930FD is just a G930F with dual sim capabilities.
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7, China, so apps like Google Play Services refuse to work, even when installed(It keeps stopping) and Google Play Store never logs in. I wanted to have the firmware changed, however,on looking at the phone's firmware, I found odd specifications.
My Samsung is an SM-9550(which is firmware that belongs to the Samsung Galaxy 8, from what I have found online). The seller's description was that the product was an SM9300 Korean version of the lock without the G930 S/L/K. I am looking for advice on whether it is safe to install the Korean firmware or an International ROM and which firmware(international preferably) will not brick the phone on installation.
Other extra specifications.
Model: (SM-9550)(dream2ltexx) 64GB
Chipset: Exynos8890
Kernel architecture:aarch64

You can install either the N950U (Carrier Version) or the N950U1 (Unlocked) firmware. The latest Carrier version is the DUE1, and Unlocked is DUE2. They are going to be pretty much the same so it's up to you. In searching Fija, dont use the XAA for the CSC, use something like USC or TMB and you'll be able to download the one you choose and yes, install with patched Odin
