Samsung Galaxy S7 Chinese firmware and is an SM-9550(which is a Samsung S8 firmware) - General Questions and Answers

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7, China, so apps like Google Play Services refuse to work, even when installed(It keeps stopping) and Google Play Store never logs in. I wanted to have the firmware changed, however,on looking at the phone's firmware, I found odd specifications.
My Samsung is an SM-9550(which is firmware that belongs to the Samsung Galaxy 8, from what I have found online). The seller's description was that the product was an SM9300 Korean version of the lock without the G930 S/L/K. I am looking for advice on whether it is safe to install the Korean firmware or an International ROM and which firmware(international preferably) will not brick the phone on installation.
Other extra specifications.
Model: (SM-9550)(dream2ltexx) 64GB
Chipset: Exynos8890
Kernel architecture:aarch64

[Q]

Hello Developers,
Last week I bought a Samsung galaxy Tab4 8inch with the following information:
Model Name: SMT337V
Android Version: 4.4.4
I bought it from the U.S. with Verizon, and they said it will work in a global mode if outside the U.S.
I am now in my home country, but it didn't work, How I can Unlock or root it(prefered) to use the device including the phone and messaging apps.
Best Regards,

Gappless ROMs for Note 20 Ultra?

Samsung users,
I want to deGoogle a Note 20 Ultra as soon as I get it.
Are there any ROMs which do not include gapps?
Thanks!
Buy chinese Note N9860. It hasn't google apps.
Yeah, you can get 9860 from Hong Kong (TGY) version and then just flash Chinese firmware with Odin (CHC region). This is coming without Google services.

LineageOS for Galaxy Note 3_N900_3G_India

I am new to the world of custom ROMs and never did this. My Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (India version, 3G, model SM N900, SSN: N900GSMH, Baseband version: N900DDUEBPF1, Software version: N900XXSEBPL3/N900ODDEBPF1/N900DDUEBPF1). I have few basic queries:-
How do I know exact model, processor, etc details of my Note 3? Since I purchased in India and that time India only had 3G phones (not LTE), so assuming its 3G only model. Also inside phone after removing battery shows above model nos
After installing a LineageOS ROM, my phone will stop receiving OS upgrades? Will I have access to play store apps which can be directly downloaded or need some workaround to download apps (my usage is regular apps like whatsapp, gdrive, youtube, chrome, etc)? If workaround needed for apps, would those apps get automatic updates or always require manual install?
Which ROM is suitable for my model? Mine is currently Android version 5.0 which is quite old. I am ok with any stable version above 5.0 If I get Android 8/9/10, I would feel myself very lucky
Please help.

it's exynos not snapdragon, you're not in the good forum..look exynos note 3
How do I confirm that mine is Snapdragon or Exynos? I googled and found that in India Note 3 was launched with Exynos and only 3G model, so I believe I am in correct forum. Can somebody answer my original queries please?

Question Installing other region's firmware

Hello there!
I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with the model SM-S9080 (China). Unfortunately my S22 Ultra does not support all languages fully, I switched the language from English to Swedish and some stuff remained in English (settings and other things).
My phone's model is SM-S9080...... what would happen if I install the firmware for a european version of the firmware (SM-S908B) of the Galaxy S22 Ultra (SM-S908B) on my model (SM-S9080)?
Try Morelocale 2, and if it doesn't work then use other similar apps.
Uploading another firmware will put you on a path with problems.

Problems? Like what? Would it work?
Last time I installed a firmware for a phone it was the phone region's firmware and it works perfectly.

You can't install any Exynos Firmware on a Snapdragon Variant. Best option is flashing Hong Kong Firmware (TGY).

So it has to be the same processor, can I in this case install the USA version?
I saw a version called China (Open china), do you by any chance know what is meant by "Open China"?:
Download Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra SM-S9080 CHC China (Open China) S9080ZCU2AVF7 firmware
Fast download latest Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra firmware SM-S9080 from China (Open China) with S9080ZCU2AVF7 and Android version 12

It isn't just the same processor you should be worried about. Not every phone of the same processor have the exact same partition sizes, which could cause the flash to fail. They could also not support the same mobile radios. There are enough variables that I wouldn't feel comfortable assuming it would work based on processor and supported bands alone.
If it doesn't work, the best case is the flash fails. Worst case you brick it, I don't think this one is likely as it should just fail but also I'm personally not in a position to risk it.

There's only one CHC Firmware, some refer to it as "Open". Your device is an outlier, only three versions of firmwares can be flashed on it, none are from the US. Only CHC, BRI and TGY.

S9 PLUS SM-G965N

I buy my Galaxy S9 Plus, it was with 2 SIMS, and the Model was SM-965FDS, but the state was "custom", so I put the official rom, but the original model of the phone was the SM-965N model, and it doesn't has the dual SIM system. Is there any stock or custom rom (Qandroid 10) that can be dual for my SM-965N?
And how is that possible that previously my phone was SM-965FDS and now it's SM-965N?
Thanks!
