Honor View20 Benchmark Results - Honor View 20 Guides, News, & Discussion

The Honor View20 is the fastest Honor phone ever made. With the Kirin 980 and 8GB of RAM, I put the phone to the test with several different benchmarking apps. Here are the results.

Turn on performance mode and run the benchmark again. It can achieve 3xx k result for antutu.

Help! Benchmark suddenly shows crap CPU.

Hi!
Since the day I got my Z3, I've always had around 25000 "points" in Quadrant Standard benchmark. Now, however, the phone won't even reach 13000.
From a screenshot shot back in august, CPU points is 91152. If I run the same benchmark today, it is somewhat around 38000.
What could be the reason of this? My currently "profile" is 300-2457mhz, interactive/cfq.

Today:
Try a reboot and retry quadrant without opening any apps.
i also feel CPU usage is high in new update. all video players are lagging.
tried repairing/resetting through PCC. formatted memory card. still video lags randomly on all the players.

I have tried this many times. Reinstalling SetCPU and SetXperia, but it just keeps getting lower and lower.. At the moment it wont even reach 10000 points.

Sent from my MHA-L29 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
tested mine today, see comparison with One plus 5 for reference
The earlier updates had a higher performance level for both phones, but Huawei has recently dropped performance for better battery life. These are my scores
Mate 9 Pro - 121k
Mate 9 - 148k
I have both Chinese 6GB Ram models. Huawei doesn't have a huge increase in performance due to increased Ram, but does have better Ram management properties imo.
Stop worrying about the Antutu score and realize you have one of the smoothest and fastest phones on the market

Honor V20 appears on Geekbench days ahead of official launch

Ahead of its launch, the device has been spotted on the Geekebench database revealing some minor details about the upcoming device.
The listing comes only a few hours after a render and live image of a special edition variant of the device surfaced. Listed with the model number number PCT-AL10, the Honor V20 is seen running Android 9.0 Pie with 8GB RAM coupled with an unknown SoC with a 1.8 GHz clock speed suspected to be the Kirin 980 given that the Honor V10 from 2017 got the Kirin 970 SoC. The Huawei Kirin 980 has only appeared in a few number of smartphones including the Mate 20 series, the Magic 2 and now the Honor V20.
Notably, the chipset reached scores of 3261 for a single core and 9792 for multiple cores, similar to the Honor Magic 2 powered by the same SoC. The platform got two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.6 GHz, two more at 1.92 GHz, and four power-efficient Cortex-A55 at 1.8 GHz.
