There are a bunch of live streaming apps on the play store, but all of them can't capture the game audio directly into the stream. Android blocks this permission, but it's possible to have access to it if you have rooted your device.
I use Omlet Arcade to stream my PubGM and I got a little tool to let internal audio capturable with it.

Basically, you install that app and the Omlet Arcade app, and then convert the agent into a system app with your favorite tool. For example, if you use Magicsk then use the App Systemizer module to activate the permission. If you're using other non-systemless root methods, you could probably use Titanium backup or other "system app" mover utilities to accomplish it.
It will show you this before you have systemized the agent.

Once you have systemized the agent, it will show this.
And then you can find the advanced setting in Omlet Arcade to turn on internal audio recording (it's on by default if you have the agent).

I tried recording with the plugin enabled. But it is same as earlier not recording internal sound. Device - Mate 10 Pro Emui 9 rooted.

After systemizing agent and rebot device there is no app of omlet agent i dont know whrere app went i tried to by magiak module and lucky oather but both dont work

Hi all,
on my Samsung S4 i can when i play an video (example from facebook app) choose any player i have installed(mx player, default player or video downloader)
so on my Nexus 5 it opens every Video in the Default Video app so i can't download it
i tried settings -> apps and set back all preferences for apps but it wont work.

maybe the video itself that you are clicking doesnt get those options, maybe its only in a format that the default video player will play?

I have the same issue you do, it plays in facebook's own video player not your devices video player. This started happening 2 updates ago, it's Facebook doing this it's not your device. I believe it's Kit Kat there is no video support aside from the Facebook player itself.
Update: Just Google Facebook apk 3.7 and it works just like you want it. You can use MX Player or any other video player and even download the video/s.

It plays the video via WebView so it streams the video. The app is basically a WebView within an app that links to YouTube.
You can run WebViews in background as well hence why the music playback doesn't stop until you kill the app.
The sad part is the OP is making money off the application even though he didn't do anything besides create a WebView that connects to a URL.

I would want to but unfortunately, in previous Android versions Google doesn't make it available to record devices screen without rooting your phone.

Android 11 brings some breaking changes that may prevent third-party apps from accessing the complete internal/external storage. So, it may break the exiting media scanning routines. Could you collect a bug report from the help menu quickly after refreshing the file list and share with us? It will help us to understand the issues better.

can you please try something for me? Preferrably on Pixel 4a, yet others should work too.
Can you update the Google Recorder to the last version, record something, go to App Info, Disable the app, restart phone, enable the app again and see if your recording is still there or whether it got deleted?
My Google Recorder stopped responding (presumably after the last update). I cannot start the app and I need to save my files. I will be grateful for your help.

Hello John, thanks for your reply, yet this folder not accessible without ROOT. That is the issue and the whole reason why I have this problem. Unless you have some other way / app which can access it. For me, the folder is completely hidden.
Edit: Root browser by JRummy Apps can view the recorder folder in data\data,
but it does not see any files folder or any files inside (as I am not rooted and rooting would wipe the device).
But apparently there is a parent "Mount Point" of /dev/block/dm-1", so root browser may not be able to view that location.
Without root, it will be hard to get those files.
If this crashing of recorder happened with the latest update, then maybe other users are having the same problem, so google will fix it and hopefully it will start working again in the next version.
The only other thought I have is to find the APK of the previous working version, unpack it, make the version number one higher then the "bad" verison of recorder, repack and sign. Then you would be able to install it and it should see your files again.

Hello good people. The 23/06/2021 Google Recorder update fixed my issue and I now succeeded in backing up my offline-saved recordings. This made me to choose other app to use for recording sound though. Beware as well!
