Hi everyone! As the title says, i'm in search of HwCamera2 apk from the Honor 8 Oreo firmware. It's not really important if you have FRD-L19 variant, but would be better if you can provide me the FRD-L09. I need it because i'm trying to make it work on custom roms, and actually i don't have enough time to reflash stock firmware and extract it for myself, as H8 is my primary device. Hope you can understand.

I don't think Honor 8 have this feature / compatible with it.
EDIT: I don't have this "mode" on my FRD-AL00...

I know that it has been already posted here, but I wanted go get some more feedbacks by honor 8 owners that updated to nougat
Some apps, including pokemon go (only in AR mode), google cardboard and youtube 360 videos, seems to have problem with gyroscope, as the image spins and shakes continuously. Other apps don't have issues at all (like titans of space vr)
Does everybody have this problem? Could this be a hardware related problem? I read somewhere in youtube about one guy that had his phone repaired by Huawei and his gyroscope started working well
N.B: I noticed that rolling back to marshmallow solves this "bug" for me

I waited for b380 and then 389
Still the exact same problem. I think it could be fixed with emui 5.1, but I don't know if it's going too be released on the standard honor 8 model..maybe it's only for honor 8-pro and honor 9

No, b360 was the first official release of nougat 5.0 update
B380 and 389 are later fixes (not to the gyroscope sadly)

Download a rollback package and flash through dload method
Rolling back cannot be the only solution. Emui 4.1 is too ugly!

i have BT Unlock but i have arb Level 4 (i control with command adb fastboot getvar anti)

use fastboot boot twrpxxxx.img command
this boots into twrp.then flash twrpxxxx.img inside twrp by choosing image at the bottom right
no need to flash dummy img

recovery is different rom is different.rom doesnt include recovery.so twrp will be permanent

boot from adb into twrp
flash twrp.img via twrp
reboot into recovery
flash lazyflaher forsecure fit permanent twrp
than format data
copy ... in the storage the zip

And with this update the icon of Wide Angular has gone, now I cannot use Wide Angular
