Drand S10E, S10, S10+ Pre Ordered Skins - Samsung Galaxy S10 Accessories

It seems several of us are already getting tracking info for their phone shipments. But I still have not seen shipping dates for any of my Dbrand skins I ordered for my S10E.
Is Dbrand dropping the ball with these new skins like they have with the new Grip Case? That Grip Case is a pretty strange fiasco. Announcing them months before they can be shipped and then pushing that estimated ship date back even further because of defective initial units. I wonder how much that fancy ad for that case cost them. Lot of hype and now silence from them about that case.
I just hope this is not going to happen with these new S10 skins. Has anyone here ordered Dbrand skins for their new S10? If you have, have y'all heard any updates on when they will ship? I mean, Spigen and other case makers have already made and delivered cases for these new phones. I'm looking down at my Spigen Liquid Air case for the S10E right now.
Then we have these Dbrand skins. They're just simple skins they cut out from sheets of material. How hard is it to ship those before these phones arrive at our homes?

Dbrand is overrated and over advertised, it won't protect your phone from ANY sort of physical impact.
Get a case man, I ordered one from Spigen from amazon here in the UK, it arrived in 2 days, looks like a tank while being very refined, it just misses the phone in it.

They'll get here by the time I have cases for the note 10 ?

I never used any skin, Dbrand or otherwise, for protection from impacts. Only to help with the fingerprint buildup on the glass back and for a more pleasant appearance. I like to be able to hold my expensive phone and feel the metal edges but with a unique back cover skin. I do keep my cases around depending on the situation or mood.

Yes, you can always remove the cover at home, using it for outsides only.

I have ordered skins for my S10+ from Gadgetshieldz and it seems they are already shipping the S10+ skins as it shows pre-order only for the S10 skins.
https://www.gadgetshieldz.com/galaxy-s10-plus-skins-covers-wraps.html

Based on the Note 9 pre-orders, Dbrand has the tendency to start shipping when the device is in stores.
Not sure why they do so, but seems the norm.

just got my shipping notification from dBrand for my s10+ so should get here before my phone does.

They don't seem to have great managers at that company. They need to clean house and start again with the way in which they operate.

Same, ordered the s10+ swarm skin on the 24th. Tracking shows delivery set for the 8th.

Got the Swarm skin today. Black camo not arriving until Monday but I think I'm sticking with Swarm because this ****e is dope as hell. No case daily now that I have this skin but I still have a couple for those moments where I'll need a bit of extra protection. But for now this S10e is looking clean as hell. It's so easy to hold and use compared to my Note 9. I'm not missing a larger display. This has got to be the most perfect package for a phone I've ever had. It's a sensible-looking phone but it's packing a big punch.

Nice! It's looking fresh...

Official Google case review and warning

Hi
Thought I would post my experiences of the official google case in more detail.
TLDR short version: It isnt worth the price, scratches easily and could easily scratch the phone. Approach with caution or not at all.
I bought the clear google case alongside my phone today. The case is not worth the premium cost. I know some believe that OEM cases are always over priced however I am not one of those people and tend to prefer official products.
Look
The case is not completely clear it is two tone, clear gloss at the top and matte frosted at the bottom. It looks OK especially if you want to preserve the two tone look of the design choice.
Size
Size is good, it is slim with a slight 'lay on the table' lip.
Feel
It feels very cheap, I would advise against purchasing the case on this issue alone. It has a slight 'lay on the table' design however it is this when your hand rubs against it that feels the most cheap and flimsy, not at all premium, more like $2 case.
Durability
Zero. Mine has already scratched on the gloss portion. I have had the case on for a couple of hours, on a desk and in my hand, as sterile and environment as would be possible. What is worse is the case is scratched on the inside. I only put the case on once and was careful to clean it before hand to check for any manufacturing debris. It hasnt been in a phone or a pocket yet. I am aware of course that debris can over time get into a hard case and you must mitigate against this but there has not been time for this.
Conclusion
Looks OK. Feels cheap and will scratch easily. However ultimately I wouldn't be comfortable putting my phone back in this case. I would be afraid that if this can happen so easily, the phone itself would get scratched up while in this case in no time at all.
I reached out to google to provide this feedback. There was nothing they could do and suggested I post feedback on the google forum as google listens to that. I do not see the merit in it that and despite this post, I am not really a complainer. I do however see merit in posting a review which may assist other people. It is after all an expensive phone going into a not cheap case.
TC
Any idea if the picture case is the same material? I ordered one of these a week ago.
@thetonyclifton
Can you send some pics of the case, the phone in it etc.
I agree, I got the case for Pixel XL. I like how slim it is, almost like there isn't a case on it. But mine appears to have some wear after just a day and a half. Sucks to have to look for a new case after dropping $30 on this Google one
Sent from my Pixel XL using XDA-Developers mobile app
I remember when i bought the nexus 6p and got the 35 dollar silicone case along with it. It is absolute waste, within a week material started getting faded and scratching. So i explained this to google and they allowed me to return it. I ended getting the Spigen Rugged Armor case for half the price and the quality is 100 times better. Same goes to my Pixel XL i already received the Spigen Rugged Armor case for it now just awaiting for the phone itself

I was disappointed in the build and value, then disappointed by the easy damage and then terrified it would damage the phone. A really bad case in my experience and I normally really like OEM cases. I got a Spigen liquid crystal and while it is a bit bigger and all glossy, it is a much better case for about a 5th of the price.

I didn't buy the case from Google I bought it from a bricks and mortar phone store who wouldn't return the case because it julooked like I scratched it, it did have a scratch on there as I said but that was half of my complaint with the case. I contacted Google as the manufacturer and they didn't want to know. I didn't expect my money back as I didn't pay them but did expect them to offer me a voucher or replacement to try and make amends.

Sorry, no, just because I genuinely do not want to put my phone back in there again. Its cheap and scratchy, it makes a disconcerting scrapping noise against the sides of the phone.

Wait - you bought the Official Google case from a B&M phone store? Which store was it? (surprised to hear that it the official case is available from 3rd party stores already - are you sure it is a genuine one? Is it possible that the store sold you a "case for the Google Pixel phone")
what case are you talking about, this one ?

I just filled my RMA too.
For a 45$ case, it's all scratched in under a week of getting in and out of my pants... It shouldn't scratch like that.
I've already order a Spigen one for 14$ instead of the 45$...
I can't add more pictures to my post but here's the scratch. I didn't put it on any hard surface, it was in my pants all day unless I used it, in my hand at home.

Case for the s10
Not a fan of cases in general, but with the $50 credit after preordering the S10+, I got the back LED case. I was more intrigued by the technology than the case itself. I'll most likely order a skin or a slim case by mnml or peel.
better get a case than paying for ordering

Changed my order to S10+ and that's my final pick, it has a kickstand and since it's clear it'll show the prism-blue colors:
I got this grey rugged kickstand case free as part of my S10+ pre-order!
I've gotten the Otterbox Defender for every phone I've had and can't complain. Just got the Defender for my S10+ in the mail today.
Looking for a clear case, cause it doesn't make sense to buy prism white an do cover it with an opaque case. The Spigen fits the bill, but till wait. More case makers will offer discounts.
Can I get a link to where you saw they'll be including a clear case? And are they including one with the s10+ as well? Reason asking is I'm seeing the opposite on other sites and want to verify before I order a skin instead of a case. Or i could play oblivious and have two cases. Wife will never know ?

It's got a very slight raised lip around the camera cutout which means that the camera glass is protected. Definitely don't think that this is the strongest case on the market, but since the back of the phone is plastic not sure how strong a case needs to be.
These are on Amazon under a diff name for cheap. I can't post links cause I'm new, but just search "Slim Fit Google Pixel 3a". It was about $8 when I got it, but seems to have jumped up to $13.
Absolutely love mine. The milky white case on a white 3a is so dam sexy. Be careful putting it on, as I cracked my first one (they replaced it free ), as it's a super tight fit. Use the little tool it comes with.
If you love minamilistic, this is the case to get. Keeps the back nice and dry, where the stock back gets greasy after a few days from hand oils building up. This case stays dry for weeks and you don't have to constantly clean it.
If you are comfortable with Taobao, I bought a exactly same case on Taobao for 28 CNY (~4 USD).
Very slim and good looking case.

I don't know if I trust them with their estimate.
I got the bumper for my nexus 6P and pixel 2xl and it was my favorite.
I wanted it for my 3xl, which I ordered on announcement day last year, but by the time it was available I had bought a slew of other cases and didn't feel like spending any more. Especially since I only had plans on keeping the phone for a year.
I once again ordered the 4xl on announcement day and I'm trying to be patient but I've already ordered 3 other cases so they need to get with it and finish the bumper case already. A discount code would be nice too as it's not the cheapest case in the world.
Just checked their website again, looks like their bumper cases are now available for pre order with shipping around the end of November (so long goes the "early november" time frame they told me)

Totally agree with you here. Their website is now open for pre orders for the 4 XL but doesn't ship till the end of November, which is far too late for most people since other people would already have gone with some other case at this point.
I got a clear case temporarily hoping the bumper one will come out within the next week or so but looks like that won't happen at all :/
Just pre-ordered mine. Said Nov 29 estimated ship date.
+1 to everyone that recommended. Had it for my pixel 3xl and it's the best. Only negative the white won't stay white forever.

I'm a big fan of these but as I've stated previously, I've already purchased (and gotten free) some other cases and I just don't need another.
And I'm never spending $40 so I have to pay the $5 shipping, which is annoying for a $25 item.

I was sent the Schnail case that some got for free and that's my "protection against all circumstances" case. It's surprisingly great!
I just ordered the Rhinoshield bumper case and should have it by Wednesday and that was my favorite on a few of my recent google phones.
I'm using my google fabric case since Saturday and I like it too.
I also have the ESR Mimic, which might be my favorite. The combo of slimness, tempered glass back and grippy tpu bumper is really nice.
I know, at the very least, the bumper will yellow eventually but it is a very nice case.
I also got a deal on the Totallee slim frosted clear and it's pretty cool too. Absolutely the slimmest case ever.
I obviously have a sickness that's shared by many on these forums. Please pray for me. Lol.

I used the Rinke on my Pixel 3XL and never had any issues. Dropped a few times, no damage.
I've tried a few cases with this Pixel 4XL but I'm back to the Rinke!
Also have the ESR mimic on order.
I got my rhinoshield case today and it's of course what you would expect. Fits perfectly and if minimal as can be. The buttons are crisp and very very easy to identify which I truly appreciate.
In short if you like a minimal bumper case that shows off your phone without taking anything away from it, look no further.
Anyone heard anything on the Ringke Onyx? Had this on my 2XL and 3XL, but they don't make it (yet) for the 4XL. The Fusion looks like too much for me and possibly a lint trap. I reached out to Ringke, but it's the weekend so won't likely hear anything back until next week. May have to start with the Spigen Rugged Armor.
I bought the UAG Plasma, its a little heavier than the Rinke but fits great and looks like it would be plenty of protection from a fall.

I have bought too many cases again so I try and spread them out and use them all.
I like the esr mimic. It feels and looks great with the tempered glass back.
The Totallee frosted clear case is scary thin, but feels great in your hand. Only protection is from scratches if laid on it's back.
The Schnail case I got for free and it's actually quite good. Incredible protection but I don't have much use for it.
I also got the google fabric case, which I also had for the 2xl and 3xl. It's not as good for the 4xl. The feel of the fabric is better but the fit is not as good. It's not as snug as the past 2. A little disappointing actually.
I wish they would hurry up and release it into the Amazon store. The one for the smaller 4 is there but not for the XL.

UAG has the plasma series in stock for both.
Ordered the pro version a couple days ago. Hasn't shipped yet though.

I ordered the Blindbox in Germany so I got delivered the sandstone and sandstone case additionally. They are quite hard and not really flimsy. However it's true, camera protection is barely there and I don't think those cases will protect from a drop really good. Also, I want to rock a transparent case with this beautiful blue color. The included one looks and feels really good but is way to soft at the sides, this is even lesser protection than the others cases.
Currently I am using the sandstone case as it gives me way better grip than the carbon one.
I have ordered this case. Let's see how it handles once it gets here: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B085DTHLSZ/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_hsUMEb0JFJSHQ

I drop my phones about once per year so I need a case to protect my phones but a simple bumper case is not enough with these curved displays and depending on how the phone lands, screen might shatter even with a good bumper.case. The cover cases also prevent damage from typical day to day usage.
I have seen some really good implementation of always on displays with smart cover cases, especially from Samsung.
I cannot recommend the case I linked, I don't have it yet and I do not expect much from the case, it just happens to be one for sale now, I think beat cases typically don't get released this early. If anyone sees a good cover case, please post here, also if you see always on screen mods for the phone.
I've ordered it! It looks good but won't ship until next month!
i hope otterbox makes a pop socket symmetry case for this

You probably wont get it for a long while unless you paid through the roof for DHL or UPS!
Im gonna have to take extra care and not drop it until I can get a cheap case from amazon while I wait for Spigen or Rhinoshield.

Had a popsocket for half a year. I liked it. I was reading web books. I did not trust it staying put . . . so . . . . I dabbed a tiny, tiny little bit of super glue at the edges.

Nice grippy side is 'critical' for me.
