Here is magisk module to restore stock boot animation. Its something which I had made for my own use. Useful when switching between ROMs.
Thank so much! Work perfect on custom rom.

Hi I'm new to this, came across a really cool ps1 boot animation and sound but don't know how to install it. I've just rooted my phone and on 4.4.4 and its a xt1039. I have both animation and sound zip files and I believe I have the latest unofficial twrp recovery manager via fastboot. Any help on how I can install it and would it be best for me to backup my ROM? It's stock no custom ROM on yet
Thanks

Anyone?
Have 920t. I havent found any information or confirmed about boot animations. Want to get rid of the samsung/Tmobile and just go with a stock Android lollipop quality boot animation.
Using flashfire if that makes a difference.
Hi all,
I have a problem with the installation of the latest stock DQD7 rom. As usual, i've created a custom rom simply debloating the stock, no other mods (doing this since android 5) and worked fine until last version DQC4.
Now i'm doing the same process (debloating) with the DQD7 version but when i flash my custom rom and the stock kernel (modified to remove verity check) the rom is not booting and it's stuck on the samsung logo.
I've tried to use other custom kernels but still the same problem.
I have the feeling that something in this release has changed, can you please help me understand what is it?
thanks all in advance
Hi guys,
I've got a g930f with magisk, custom kernel and twrp. My problem is whenever I try to install a custom rom it freezes on patching system image unconditionally. I tryrd with stock kernel and custom. I've tried a couple ROMs but I just get the same issue.
Can any of you help me out, thnx in sdvanced
Was able to get the bootloader unlocked, and now I need a custom ROM like AEX or Arrow, but with this recovery: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ze...covery-unofficial-twrp-recovery-asus-t3937844 nothing works. Flashing TWRP installer will make /data stop working, and booting back into the stock Android 10 ROM, Wifi malfunctions, and won't start up.
Any solutions? Some good workable TWRP is anywhere on the site for custom roms? It will be greatly appreciated.
I had to struggle, too, when trying a custom ROM for the first time. Make sure you start with the right stock ROM version (see at individual installation instructions) and follow the guides. For me, I had the ROM stuck at the boot screen, but when I followed the instructions correctly, everything went well.
