Any idea on how to do this?
Will plugging 2 usb cameras work
Thanks
i would suggest you to get a separate DVR that has dual camera instead of placing more loads on the HU itself.

wouldnt it be really awesome to be able to switch from the rear camera to the front camera/vice versa while recording? or to be able to record on both at the same time.
Hey, I have a honeycomb tab. My question is this. I want to record video for work with my rear facing camera. The audio pickup is next to the front facing camera. Audio works just fine when I am talking behind the device taking video in front of me using the rear facing camera. But, if I am taking video of someone else talking while recording using the rfc, the audio doesn't pick up due to the mic being on the opposite side of the device from them.
So, if possible, how can I use a bluetooth headset to record the audio within the video clip I am trying to record? Are there any special bluetooth sets that I need and/or a special video recording app that I need?
Thanks XDA-ers.

I looking at getting a PX5 unit and was wondering if any of the DVR apps supported recording the rear camera as well as from the USB dash camera? Would be nice to have both going at once. Also is the video out mirrored only or is it possible to set something else on the output screen.
The front (F-Cam) and rear (Reverse) cameras are both RCA (analog) and are not recordable since the signal is only displayed and not processed logically. The DVR software works ONLY with certain USB cameras, and you could place them anywhere in your vehicle you please. So far, no other DVR software (available in the Play Store, anyway) is compatible with these units. Sorry I can't help with the video mirroring question.
Even though both are analog when you run the non F-Cam (DVR) cam (which frustratingly is not compatible with the f-cam app) I have found it makes the rear cam footage stutter!!. Bit crap when reversing as a stutter can skip a few inches.
It technically should have the hardware but software support is very finicky among manufacturers.
Can someone help me test with this app? You should be able to see both front and rear views.

Hi, I have seen some people recording video clips with other phones where you can switch between front and back cameras without stopping recording, i cant find this feature on the Xperia 5 ii. Is there a way to enable this on the stock camera app ?
