This thread was made for persons looking for custom roms for the Alcatel Pop C2
I found a custom rom for the Alcatel Pop C3 4033x and this phone has the exact same specs as the Alcatel Pop C2 4032a. This is a guide on how to install the rom and report any bugs you may have with the rom other than the ones that are already there.
NOTE: I DID NOT MAKE THIS ROM I'M JUST SHARING IT HERE. The person who created the rom is from the miui forum and you can visit that forum and thank him here.

HOW TO INSTALL
REQUIREMENTS:

ADB Drivers
Custom Recovery
Make a backup first in case anything happens.
Download the rom and gapps from the download section and place it somewhere on your computer.
Install a custom recovery, i would recommend using the Carliv Touch Recovery 2.7 or any recovery that can install zip from sideload. YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE A RECOVERY WITH THIS FEATURE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOSE ANY DATA( INTERNAL STORAGE). ALSO DO NOT INSTALL USING SDCARD EITHER!
Place the rom in the same folder where it is possible to use ADB, what i did was allow ADB to work from anywhere on the PC. You can do that here if you wish.
Go to recovery by either using the button method or use some app to go to recovery. Do a factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache.
Go to install zip then install zip from sideload.
Open the command window from the folder where your rom is by pressing shift then right click if you are able to run ADB from anywhere OR doing it the other way open the command window from the folder where the ADB is.
Type in the command window: adb drivers
then adb sideload and the name of the rom
It will start loading and sending the rom to your phone.
Do the same for the gapps.
A trick when at the sideload step, press the first two letters of the rom name and then press tab and it will fill out the rest of the letters.

Vibration-seems to be a common problem when porting for MT65XX devices
Launcher FC- this occurs when uninstalling apps from the launcher in the latest version. You can uninstall from launcher in the old version of the rom.
Front Speaker-problem in new version while in the old version it is not a problem.
The phone storage mount point is now the former custpack partition, so this means that you will only have 200MB free of internal storage.
In case you encounter reverse sdcard numbering assignment, edit vold.fstab file in /system/etc/vold.fstab just replace the mount points.
There are a lot of bugs in the new version but if you want to install feel free to do so.

EDIT: It's possible to get both Kitkat AND Lollipop on your device! It does not work with all Pop C2 phones however, it's pretty much trial and error. Developers are working on building a stable Kitkat kernel

I've tried it. The only problem/bug with this version is the internal storage is lock or write protected. I cant delete files, rename, move files from the external. Please fix it this rom is minamal all apps are updated
I am using this ROM also, this ROM is mulit-device ( D838, F350...) selectable ROM, i haven't external memory access issue on my D838, everything works fine. all the functions are what i want.
expecting next release version which base on 5.01 v20D stock ROM.
Please be aware that CWM inside the ROM which could not access external SD, so you must put install zip in internal storage.
Generally everything was running fine. Only battery drain seems to be a bit faster and some of my whatsapp picture mag could not be downloaded no matter how much i tried. Re install whatsapp still the same.
I installed this ROM. Till now it is good. Battery life is better than Future ROM 3.3. I think I am going to stick with this one.
I tried to select LTE from the network selection Menu. But I see it is not available. The hidden secret menu is not also working. What shall I do?

I know thats why I made it...seems useless but invaluable if needed.
I have had trouble finding a twrp..there is some for mtk devices on the sites that i credit at the bottom of my op but none have been tested.
If you have any other tools or anything you need for this device let me know and i will update and provide links.

for twrp i have link and working for our Lenovo A399 but it is Russian not English.. if u know how to port it.. please consider to make it fully English bro..

here.. i manage to swap it but as u see app still install in real internal and not sdcard..

Ive not tested ressurection remix but the recovery works with pussyfap...tried and tested and flashed via recovery..you need root at all times.

No bro.. The storage working well.. What i mean is swap storage.. Internal as sdcard on the other hand.. Sdcard as internal.. My port is working very well.. No bug.. The only thing that i want to do is.. Swap the storage.. Btw.. About twrp.. Which one do we use on this thread.. I think ur port much better then mine.. Bcoz i have bug..

So you want the internal storage to be parsed with external storage like in cyanogenmod roms where it uses external sd as system.. ..
My recovery wont work with ressurection remix i dont think but you can try I will upload later. I think i fixed where it looks for ext sd.
These are stock-based recovery flashable ROMs I've cooked up for the Cube iWork 10 Flagship (aka iWork 10 Ultimate), device i15-T(D).
They are all based on the stock build i15-T_V1.0_20160302, kernel version 3.14.37-x86_64-L1-R429 Wed Mar 2 18:22:46 CST 2016
I have tested these on my stock i15TD purchased directly from cube-tablet.com
If you are stock, unrooted with stock recovery you will need to go here first before you can use these.
WARNING: Flash at your own risk!!!
Make a full backup before flashing!
I would recommend wiping dalvik, cache, data & system before flashing.
For the Odexed versions a factory reset (dalvik, cache & data) will probably work. You might even be able to get away with a dirty flash if you're coming from the same stock build & kernel version, let me know
OTA: Will probably not work with the Stock Odexed version (I wouldn't try it anyhow) and definitely not work with any of the others as I've removed all the OTA stuff in them.

-Nothing has been touched here except for changing default location/language, so it boots up in English

Instructions (remember, make a full backup first!)
Boot into TWRP, wipe dalvik, cache, data & system
Flash ROM
If you didn't wipe system in step 1 then go back to main screen, "Mount", select "system"
(if you're flashing the NoGoogle version, then flash gapps now)
Reboot

Turns out that build (20160412) is NOT lollipop 5.1.1, still 5.1. No big differences I can tell so far except for lack of play store/services and a bit less bloat. The boot animation is different (not Chinese cube one but text "TOPWING" ???). The device ID is also different.
I think I'll be holding off on making additional zips for this until there's a more serious and official update...

Did you get the same error? I'd like to use the stock installer.
According to the logs I have NO free system space.
Edit: I fixed it, might want to mention that you shouldn't forget to mount system!

Yeah, I didn't add it initially because if one wipes system before flashing then it's already mounted. It's the weird location of system partition on this tablet, opengapps (and supersu) install scripts can't mount it.
But, yeah it should be there as you pointed out, so I added it.

Ow, yeah, I had to because TWRP has issues remounting an otg mounted storage device, that might explain why it failed for me.
I just tried installing xposed and it got stuck in a bootloop, not a big issue as I've backed it up and haven't done much so far, but do you know if it's possible to install it?
And, heck, because I'm asking anyway, have you tried reinstalling windows? I'd like to install windows 10 enterprise on this tablet. Might save me the trouble from going to techtablets.

I haven't tried xposed yet myself on this tab, but one guy over on my howto thread mentioned he tried and also ended up in a bootloop. Too much other stuff going on now but when I get around to xposed, if i get it working, I'll post here.
Sorry, can't help you on the windows side at all, in fact this iWork 10 is the first windows machine I've had in years, just android & ubuntu for me these days...
The people at techtablets are more keyed into the windows side of this tab, especially Laura. I'd recommend asking there.
It's the same tablet this and mine that have a Dual Boot (Windows 10 + Android 5.1.1).
And guys, any web page to follow curiosity of this tablet? mods, ROMS, etc...
What I *really* dislike about this tablet:
NO XPOSED... always destroys the bootup of android...
sdk22 x86 is the correct version, but not supported by this tablet... meh

I've had similar before on other devices, flashing a different opengapps (like nano instead of Pico) or older opengapps or even other gapps package has usually worked... Note that you would want to reflash the rom and immediately following flash the gapps

Sorry but I don't have n7505 variant...
But its easy, you can make it on your own ... Just follow these steps..
1. Download and flash note5 noble Rom.
2. Backup its boot img.
3. Download original lollipop Rom for your device and flash it through odin..
4. Flash twrp recovery again and then root it and remove/uninstall unwanted system apps...
5. Flash the backup boot img.

Also, I am currently running this above mentioned ROM but I am hardly getting 1 signal bar strength most of the time which is very frustrating. Have you fixed it in this ROM bro? Thumbs up for your good work, please reply ASAP so I can install your ROM.

Am I stupid or will this end in a stock ROM (although rooted) with only the boot.img different if I don't remove any "system apps" ?
So is this "ROM" single difference with stock is we can remove what we want ? Can we do it also once we've restored the Note/Noble boot.img ? This would be great, along with the fact to stick close to stock gives more chances to be bugs free isn't it ?
Please tell me (I'm newb and non-english easy), what does "combo"ROM stand for ?

Yes you are right in that this ROM is different from stock in boot.img. But this ROM is different from stock in having no bloatwares and few other patches..
"COMBO" here means this ROM is combination of Noble and Stock ROM
How is it possible that said "patches" would survive to stock reflash. These aren't in boot.img (this is the way you say to install : just install to backup boot.img then erase all with stock and restore boot.img backup). Wouldn't it be simpler to just distribute the tweaked boot.img then only flash this one ?
More, above, about 7505 you say "it's easy" to make it. But where is Noble for 7505 ? It is no more available. In fact this is my main problem to give try to your pragmatic way
