[Q] Where should I post my question?

Hi all! I have a question regarding beginning a new android application, one that would require a lot of help from other programmers. I'm pretty new to XDA and recently have posted valid questions but in incorrect forums.
Just wondering, should I post this new question in Android/Chef Central or Android/Software Development?

[Completed] [Q] Unable to modify system settings on S3 phone

Hi,
I tried to search the net for my issue but didn't find anything. Any modification to my phone settings are not keept. Example, if I try to change ma default application for sms, the old one still enable.
Someone can help me with this?

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. There are a number of different variants of the S3. Could you tell me your device's specific model number? That'll help point you in the right direction.

[Completed] will changing imei of a Qualcomm snapdragon phone unlock it?

I have an lg Leon lte which is quite difficult to unlock. I was wondering if changing its imei will unlock it.

Hi, I actually read that thread before posting this. Thanks for suggesting it though. However they seemed not to have found a free method. But personally, for knowledge sake i would like to know how to change imei of snapdragon phones. I know how to change that of mtk phones though.

I am hoping someone can help me discovering a tablet that is good for LTE (sim) and has some type of XDA development for root, possible future updates when the manufacturer doesn't provide. Normally Nexus device would be the best but it seems like we're lacking an option right now.
Or please guide me to a better place to ask this question.
